Great reception. We discovered on our second night that the site was to undergo a revamp now that Morris are new owners.
We thought that the facilities were old and in need of refurbishment.
Electrics were always going off.
Pub on site is awful.
His also needs a complete refurb.

Cheeky weekend away after work on Fri.
Terrific dog friendly site with great facilities which are being improved further.
Warm welcome on arrival and one of the best sites weve found if you have a dog.
On site pub and restaurant offering good food and a friendly atmosphere too. We'll definitely be back!
No children with us but a good play area and a dedicated field for ball games plus free mini golf course!

This is a new addition to the Morris Leisure portfolio of sites and it shows. The wardens are all very friendly and helpful. They work tirelessly to maintain the site in pristine condition.
It is great for dogs, with a large dog field, where they can be let off the lead (if friendly) and on hot days, a walk along the stream to a section where they can get into the stream and swim or paddle.
There is a free pitch and putt (clubs and a ball can be supplied) a grass tennis area, small park and numerous walks from the site. The bus stops are at the entrance and go to Hereford one way and Hay on Wye the other.
The Mill pub/bistro is excellent, serving great food at a reasonable price and good draft beers as well as the usual gins etc
The toilet block is very clean, however, the showers need upgrading as they don't drain very well, the water flows in from the next cubicle meaning you tend to stand in someone else's grey water but I'm sure Morris have it in hand.
There is road noise as the site sits next to a road and it is quite busy but didn't affect our sleep.
This site is well worth a visit and I suspect we will be back again next year.

Immaculate, peaceful site in a lovely location. Exceptionally friendly, helpful wardens and ground staff who were constantly out maintaining the site.
Well laid out large pitches, ALL have water tap on pitch as well as some fully serviced pitches. Huge enclosed dog field so your dog can go off lead.
More open green space than I’ve ever seen on a caravan site, no sense of cramming in as many vans as possible! Nice path/mown grass riverside walk along the site. Fairly busy B road runs along top of site, I was pitched at bottom of site and no intrusive traffic noise.
Numerous good walks, many from site without having to drive, you do need a good OS map (or OS app) though as footpaths not always well marked or clear. Recommend the walk from Dorstone up to Arthur’s Stone (Neolithic site), interesting and fabulous views.
One toilet block, always clean, with 3 showers (female) for site but not busy and I didn’t have to queue (just after Bank Holiday).
My only gripes: grass cuttings not picked up so in wet weather it was a constant battle to keep them out of the caravan! “Grey” water disposal drainage point raised about 2’ 9” above ground so needed to lift WasteHog to empty it!

First time staying here, access good, best to follow the directions on the website. Wardens were super nice and very helpful.
Quiet, good size pitch, well kept site with good facilities and a pub on site which serves great food at a very reasonable price.
Lots to do on the site and in the surrounding area, good for families.

Morris Leisure always give you the confidence of a great place to stay.
Here we had a serviced pitch (first time) which made things easy.
The staff were brilliant,
The facilities clean and functional. Plenty of space to walk. We walked the entire perimeter of the park which is nearly 3km.
A large field for children to play football, play park and a wonderful 9 hole pitch and putt which we used a number of times, great fun. We would definitely recommend the site.
Places we visited (apart from local walks) Hereford Cathedral, Black and White museum, Cider museum. Hay on Wye, the castle whose cafe serves the best scones I think I have ever had. Then The Weir garden and Brobury House and Gardens.
A lovely place to stay.

Exceptional site to visit, so much so that my wife and I have been returning there for several years now.
The site is spotlessly clean, well kept grass, hedges and fences, has an enormous dog walk with ample dog bins and for budding golfers a nine hole pitch and putt. It also boasts a well. Stocked shop in the reception area.
All management and colleagues are fabulous (without exception), they go about their business with a smile, are super efficient, proffesional and polite and all requests gets their fullest attention and swift action.
It also has on its doorstep a brilliant bar/restaurant that is reached within the campsite, very much worth a visit.
If you wish to venture further afield there are places like Hay-on-Wye, Hereford Ludlow, etc are worth a visit.
If your looking for a great holiday then I can't rate Poston Mill highly enough.
Regards Michael and Lesley Daynes

What a lovely campsite the warmest of welcomes, the staff were all excellent nothing too much trouble.
We had a lovely stay the dog walk is the best we’ve ever seen I think Frodo was sad to come home lol.
I am on a mobility scooter and able to go everywhere on site, they’ve a brilliant 9 hole pitch and putt along with amazing area for children also tennis & badminton nets.
A beautiful riverside walk with picnic benches also lots of places to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Definitely 5 star oh also a very good shop. We will return soon. A lovely weekend thank you Poston mill.

Just back from a 3 night stay at this lovely campsite set in the beautiful Hereford countryside.
Site was well landscaped, with an excellent dog walking area on site, nice riverside walk and even a pitch & putt course.
Super well maintained site with nice, clean facilities. Laundry room with washer/ dryer/ ironing/ washing up area all spotlessly clean.
Staff were friendly and helpful and a special mention goes to the lovely Australian lady who kept everything nice and clean.
I would highly recommend a visit to this site,
