 The campsite is lovely with facilities that are kept mostly clean (busy site when we were there so expected muddy, unflushed, toilet paper strewn toilets). The showers are ok if you get in early enough for hot water, but nothing to shout about.
There’s a small play area for kids & a rope hanging over the river at the bottom of the site for kids to jump in (adult supervision definitely required). There’s also a ‘glow night’ when kids can get some free glow sticks to run around with, also available to purchase from the well stocked shop.
Good location for Framingham castle (short drive) and the coast.
In terms of being Covid safe - definite NO! Washing facilities were closed as per guidelines but the owners allowed guests to wash & brush their teeth in the washing up facilities which is even more unhygienic than opening the washing facilities. When we brought this to the owners attention the answer was ‘what do you expect us to do about it?’ So really not impressed with their attitude.
Shame because the campsite itself is a lovely location.

We’ve just stayed at the orchard campsite. We had a fantastic relaxing weekend & shall be booking a another weekend for this year as we enjoyed it so much.
We enjoyed that there’s a bit of something for us. Fishing, going in the lake.
The kids enjoyed the swings by the shop, would be even better if they had a slide with the swings or few more bits for them to play on but all in all we enjoyed it a lot!.

Lovely friendly and welcoming campsite.
Excellent and safe especially for children.
Clean facilities. Nice spaced out pitches.
We liked the idea of the dips for the wood burning.

Always love coming to the Orchard, lovely walk surrounding the site.
Lovely shop on site and you can have a fire.
Friendly staff and great facilities. We come every year.

Just been to visit this site. Lots of room and the site owners were very friendly.
Clean toilets/ showers.
Stocked up shop. Just booked my van there for storage.
Will def be using this site.

Camp site was nice. We pitched up next to the river, tyre swing for the children. Lots of groups with children, really sweet place.
Only problem was noise levels late into the evening. We only stayed 1 out of the 2 nights booked because of loud bass music that you can feel in your chest on and off until after 1am. Which with a young child ruined the trip.

A Sikh amazing campsite, we arrived unfortunately with a broken tent and they did everything they could to help us fix the tent and ensure we had a great night stay, which when you have a 2year old very important!
I cannot fault how welcome we were made to feel,
The facilities and the actual site, we had a really great couple to days, thanks again,
We will be back!
