Friendly and clean site, With a comfortable feel to it.
Close enough to local town for supplies and a cheat night for dinner.
Only negative I can find is that the A12 can be heard in the background.

A very friendly welcome, relaxed atmosphere and lovely surroundings.
They have thought of everything a camper could need, great washing up area with 2 fridge freezers, 2 microwaves, phone charging points and even a huge dining table and chairs.
Showers/ toilets are good and the shop is open long hours.
Nice walks into the village or surrounding countryside.
You only pay for the electric you use, which was very economical for us as just running a cooler.
Very slight traffic noise from the A12 down in the bottom corner, but this is massively outweighed by the positives

Such a lovely campsite.
Lots of space and so quiet even though it was fully booked.
Love that we could choose where we pitched up.
The owners are great and the shop is brilliant.
Will definitely be going back and would recommend

This has been the best campsite we have been to so far. To be able to check in/out when you like on the day makes such a difference. Not being all side by side but being able to pitch up where you like is so much more better.
Being able to have camp fires, and the shop is stocked well with all your needs, no need to bring alcohol, cheap as chips on site nice and cold too.
The kitchen area is a bonus, with kettle and microwave.
Toilets and wash facilities were all as they should be. No complaints at all.
Was lovely to be in such a relaxed environment.
Alan you’re fab and the world should have more people like you.
Thank you and see you soon x

As a family of novice campers we haven't visited many campsites and we aren't really sure what to expect.
The orchard campsite was lovely. Loads of space, we had a whole field to ourselves, and lots of different areas to choose from. No set out pitches so you can just find a spot that suits you. Pricing was very fair with no extras for kids or shelters etc.
Showers were hot and clean. Toilets were clean. There is a kitchen area to wash up with fridges snd freezers which was handy.
The little shop was stocked with some wine, beer and cold drinks and ice creams, toys for the kids and some food. No fresh items like bread or milk but Alan did kindly give me a few milk sachets for the morning coffee.
The kids had a great time cycling around the site. It's within walking distance of a Co-op and you can get take away pizza and Indian delivered.
We also walked to the pub in campsea-ash, about 2 miles each way.
We will definitely return.

The orchard campsite was like a 5 star hotel!
I came with my group of friends for a birthday celebration for 2 nights and we honestly felt like the campsite was a home away grom home.
It had all facilities and amenities we needed. We didn’t have leave the campsite. There was a fridge, microwave, kettle, washing area for dishes.
The SHOWER was amazing, very neat.
We were allowed to choose an area of our choice to pitch our tents which we really loved
Overall, an excellent stay at orchard campsite. Alan and his son were such great help during our stay and couldn’t have been the same without them!

Absolutely brilliant site, kids loved the pond dipping, as it rained most of the weekend they spent lots of time in the snug, even had dinner in there at the table. Was lovely. Our microwave broke in our camper but luckily they also so had facilities we could use. Which is fab !
Owner was so kind and friendly, always chatted when we went into the shop.
Showers were amazing with the rainfall shower head, only down side to it, is when you press it, it doesn't last long especially when washing my hair.
Overall 10 /10 for everything.
Definitely will be returning ! Can't wait.
