Lovely campsite. It was my first camping experience and couldn’t have spent it at a better place.

Facilities are great, the outdoor area is gorgeous.

It is near a village you can walk to.

The owner is very friendly.

Great location, only being a train ride away from London.

Was able to stay one night, which was hard to find but worked perfectly for us.

Very lovely setting for long walks, with many great pubs and cafés for food.

Perfect communication and customer service from Alan.

We’ve been coming here for several years now and absolutely love how relaxed and friendly the site it.

Unlike previous years we found the toilets and showers to be kept very clean and the young girl cleaning them seemed to be very though and very polite when one of our children needed the toilet while they were being cleaned.

As with previous visits we love our campfires which you can have directly on the ground!

The shop was well stocked and open when needed.

The only negative we have from this visit was the grass seemed to be extremely long compared to previous visits which wasn’t nice when it rained, the site had a general appearance that it just needed a good neaten up compared to how well kept it’s looked in previous visits.

We’re already planning next years visits!

If you love a relaxed no frills site then this is well worth a visit.

We love the Orchard and we go back every year. It’s a friendly campsite where you feel safe and well looked after.

It’s got showers, toilets, washing up area and allows proper fires on the ground which we love.

The kids also love the glow stick party’s on Saturdays!

It’s a simply delightful place

There was an excellent selection of space available, and it’s a really beautiful location.

We enjoyed the relaxed management and to be able to have a campfire each night to keep the midges away.

There was always hot water, in fact the showers we a bit too hot sometimes!

The toilets blocks were cleaned but would have benefitted from deeper cleaning more often.

 Really great site.

Large and varied. Plots are unallocated and have no limit on size. Trees and streams add to the experience.

Excellent shop, cheap and stocked up.

Toilets and showers were very good and clean.

We opted this site for the fishing availability due to our older children being interested. However no fish! River is also stagnant and the area absolutely stinks.

Not really anything for the teens to do on site and not enough area for a game of footie or rounders etc.

We went into Framlingham and found an online walking tour aimed at teens with clues wtf and was quite good. Managed to find a lake ten mins away so that appeased the older ones.

Lots of large groups although not overly noisy the shower and toilets were not big enough to cope with the numbers on site. Having to queue for the toilets and then a freezing cold shower didn’t go down well for us. Only one female only toilet rest are shared plus a urinal block but was still queuing for the loo! Plenty of loo roll but the users didn’t keep the areas clean with loo roll over the floor and messy sinks for washing up, just used to a bit more respect for the next person.

Bag of logs was 6quid not to bad. And electric was cheap. We prefer more space to roam and play so we wouldn’t be back again.

 Amazing campsite!

Our favourite by far! Been coming here for years now and we love it, the kids love it, and I think pretty much any camper would love it!

Great facilities, lovely little shop, friendly and accommodating staff, all in a peaceful and tranquil setting!

Perfect. So many memories have been made here. Thanks Orchard Campsite!

No tv with freesat as advertised. Site is basic, needs upgrading. And cleaning properly.

However its down to us to make the holiday and we did enjoy ourselves - if you want zero fuss then this is the perfect site.

Found the shop prices expensive with no prices which concerned me

Pricing for camping is as other sites so no issue there at all

The kids area is tired

 Lovely grounds.

Showers, toilets and shop available. Shared fridge, kettle, sink and toaster.

Shame the river was not available to swim in.

Trees available to climb.

Lack of activities for teenagers. Only one swing available so queuing for this was long. Great price for electricity.
