Had such a lovely weekend so much to do in and around wickham market.
Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Great for families and big groups also.
Well equipped shop and great facilities for washing up, getting drinking water, showers and washrooms for men and women.
Was able to have a little campfire too at night which was great.
Would definitely come back again!

This was our first camp and we had a lovely stay, it was great that when we arrived we could pitch where we liked.
There was an issue with a big party that pitched up on the other side of the river (they were partying until 4am although this was dealt with quickly the next day by (Alan?) He is fantastic).
We had a medical emergency with our dog and had to leave site, our tent and all of our belongings overnight but the next day we arrived back and everything was just as we had left it.
Almost everything was perfect, the only downfall during our stay was the cleanliness of the toilet /shower block which really needs improvement as this was an essential facility for us as we were camping in a tent.
Other than this we had no issues and will definitely be coming back.

We had a level pitch, the facilities are ok but could do with a lick of paint (regularly cleaned, just old and well used). Play park is literally 2 swings.
Relaxed feel means anyone can camp anywhere so we found weekends noisy as we were surrounded by big groups with loud music, drunk parents and free range children running around all the tents until midnight. If that’s for you, this will be perfect. However it isn’t our vibe.
Great for seaside visits.

Every year without fail, our family insists in camping at Alan & Linda's site.
It's absolutely perfect, clean, tidy & presentable. There's a toilet & shower block, washing up facilities and use of the electric items such as kettle, Toaster, microwave, washing machine, & fridge freezers
A limited, but handy selection of items sold on site in the shop, and of course the gift shop which also does henna tattoos, whixh is a firm favourite.
Nothing is too much for the site owners, they live on site so also close to hand.
The site is a perfect location for days out, or just enjoying the slow pace of life and chilling by our tent.

My booking was dealt with easily & efficiently by email. 1 pitch for 1 night then 3 pitches for a further 3 nights.
Plan was to pitch up with my hubby the 1st night then he would leave next morning & I would await the arrival of my 2 friends. 1st disaster was friend no. 1 got covid so couldn't come at all.
Hubby & I arrived, chose our pitch & set up. The owner's son explained all & was good to see free access to fridge/freezer/kettle/toaster/microwave as well as usual showers/ washing up facilities etc. Good site shop, too.
Hubby left next morning. Friend no. 2 set off in her campervan which overheated & broke down long before she even hit the A12! She eventually got her van home & said she'd arrive the following day with a tent instead!
Alone & with time on my hands I explained our situation to Alan, the owner, who said I could await friend no. 2, OR abandon the trip & all of us could return at a later date & commence our trip again.
This effectively gave me 2 free nights camping & I rebooked there & then for us all to return in September.
Flexible, thoughtful & generous! Much appreciated.

We camped from Thursday Evening until Sunday Morning.
Great location with ponds and trees and in places felt very secluded and private.
The owners were very nice and worked hard to make your stay comfortable on site.
The site shop was just right with the right products when required.
Showers and toilets clean and we would certainly camp again.
When we arrived it was very quiet so we slept well and everything was clean.
The site got busier from Saturday and there were a group of DofE staying at the site that were noisy throughout the Saturday night so not much sleep.
The toilets were quite messy on Saturday and Sunday morning.
Other than that, really enjoyed it and highly recommend

This is the first time we’ve stayed here.
Its a fantastic campsite, with a very relaxed approach to pitch size and check in and out times. The on-site shop was really well stocked and opened late, this was very handy if more logs or chocolate was needed 🤣.
We felt at times that there weren’t enough toilets and showers. But they was mainly because the site was busy when we stayed.
But even though it was fully booked, there was still loads of space left to enjoy the peaceful location.
We would definitely stay again.

Very peaceful and good pitches (where you want rather than where they put you!) and good facilities.
Shop has good basics and large supply of beer.
We had a very chilled stay and would visit more often if we were nearer!
A visit to the local pub (about 1mile) is a must too.

Great campsite. Very friendly and welcoming, very relaxed feeling with the lack of check out time really refreshing.
Clean facilities and the shop is very fairly priced - no need to stock up in Tesco, we found most things cheaper in here.
I like the system where you pay for the electricity used too. It seems a great way to keep costs down for those only wanting to charge a phone over those with enormous electricity guzzling units - I look forward to more sites adopting this approach.
Well located with Wickham a short walk away.
Thank you to the parish councillor at Wickham who recommended this so highly - you were spot on!

Absolutely beautiful place, a real hidden gem!
Plenty of room for tents and motorhomes alike.
A wonderful place for children to play be the river. Great facilities and superb little shop.
The owners made us feel very welcome from the start.
Cannot recommend it highly enough.
