Lovely green setting, with plenty of space (to pitch tents, gazebos and play footie etc), open fires, plentiful small areas for groups or families to pitch in and welcome opportunities for shade from the trees.

Useful shop on site, plus local shops & eateries in the village 10 mins walk/4 mins drive away. Friendly and helpful owner.

Only complaint would be that the toilet & shower block needs updating, but they know that and I understand that it's on the cards for later this year.

Great location overall, with the village nearby, numerous beaches within a 30-40 min drive plus rivers for kayaking, market towns, lovely pubs, Sutton Hoo etc.

We have stayed at this site before it is was so peaceful.

The surroundings were beautiful. Lots of wildlife like a family of swans came along the river.

The toilets and showers were a little smelly but still had a really good time

Very relaxed atmosphere, good little shop, shower block and toilets with hot water. Washing up station and seating area.

Camp where you like, firepits permitted with Saturday night glow stick giveaways for kids.

Friendly owner, fairly priced.

Plenty of different camping spaces (woodland, open field, pondside, riverside)

We spent 2 days at the site (6 adults and 5 children).

This was our first camping experience. We had a fantastic time!

The site is picturesque and there is ample space.

The facilities were great and the shop is so useful!

We will 100% be returning!

Lovely location. Unfortunately we were not told that we had to pay for our electricity, so on the Saturday morning we found we had no power!

There had been when we hooked up so a confusing situation arose.

Initially the owner was most unhelpful although eventually agreed they should have informed us on arrival.

The washroom facilities are adequate but need updating and more building.

Sadly Saturday night was spoilt by a large group shouting and playing games until 2am!

Great site, great host, lovely fellow campers.

Loved that open fires are not only allowed but encouraged and that kids were running round with free glow sticks and just living being kids outside.

A 5 minute walk to local shops which include a great Chippy and well stocked Co-op.

Ideal for days out to the Suffolk coast but you could easily go nowhere and do nothing.

The camp’s own shop, toilets and showers were great-

We will definitely be returning!

Absolutely lovely campsite, great staff great stocked shop and lovely pitches to camp on.

Our only issue isn’t so much the campsite but other campers! There doesn’t appear to be any rules for dogs although the website states they need to be on leads at all times!

While we were there this weekend there was one dog which spent the entire time we where there freely roaming around entering other peoples tents while the owners all sat in a large group oblivious to what the dog was doing.

As a parent of a child who was bitten by a dog at a young age and is very nervous around dogs we did spend a lot of the weekend having to go around with him so he could play while we reassured him the dog was not close by.

However we then came out of the toilet block to find said dog freely roaming the area by the toilets while the owner washed up.

Personally I think the site should have some signage up to ask dog owners to keep them on leads.

Apart from that small issue we had a amazing weekend and will def be returning again.

Our first visit to Orchard Campsite and we liked it so much that we added an extra nights stay.

Loved our pitch in the wooded area, kept us cool in the July heat and plenty of safe space for our toddler to run around and play in.

Great facilities, friendly staff, very reasonable price wise & a generally laid back, pleasant atmosphere made for an excellent long weekend of camping!

Thank you Orchard Campsite, we will be back!
