Although the site has a large number of pitches it is partitioned into different areas and the well placed roads and hedges make it feel much smaller. Friendly wardens and the normal high standard CC facilities. Easy access to MVSP. On pitch 48 we had full Orange phone signal, 4 out of 5 bars on the Orange dongle and clear line of sight for satellite signal.
Good bus links to surrounding towns. There is a railway station at the far end of the High Street behind Budgens (about 15 mins walk from site) with a service to Evesham, Worcester, Great Malvern, Hereford in one direction and Kingham, Charlbury, Oxford, Reading and London Paddington the other.
Excellent food for discerning diners at the Horse & Groom, Bourton on the Hill.

Just returned from a great week at this site I can't find any faults with the site so well maintained the showers were great plenty of hairdryers that worked really well. There is even a childs bathroom all fitted out in miniature and a bath.
Great dog walk the dogs could have a good play with a ball. The kids playground looks good too. Helpful wardens. Basics can be bought in reception and there's a curry van comes on a tuesday and a fish and chip van on a friday did not try these though.
Short walk into Moreton plenty of pubs, cafes. The pubs all do food the Bell was exceptional good also enjoyed the live music on the thursday night all pubs are dog friendly they even got a biscuit in a couple. Some of the pubs give a discount to caravan club members. The Inn on the Marsh although only open the old opening times in a lovely traditional 'village' pub.
Tescos at Stow and a Chunese takeaway.Surrounding villages all very pretty a great base for the Cotswolds but after a few days you've seen it all so maybe a whole week is a little too long.

A beautiful site within easy walking distance of the town. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Site well maintained with modern amenities.
Interesting-looking children's play area, although under-used during our term-time stay.
Moreton has an attractive town centre, but there is not a lot to 'detain' the visitor. It is however an excellent base to go further afield in the Cotswolds and public transport links are good for those who don't want to drive.
Eating out is good with most tastes catered for. Our particular favourite was the 'Marshmallow'. Where the steak and kidney pudding comes with a high recommendation!

Lovely site, and ideal location for visit to the Cotswolds. Well spaced pitches, two very modern toilet blocks with wash up and laundry. Good sized dog field and children’s play area. No shop on site, but Moreton in Marsh an easy ½ mile walk from site with good shops, pubs, restaurants etc.
Expensive for none Caravan Club members as site charges surcharge of £ 7.00 per night. But considering the overall quality of the site and facilities, free showers, the location etc – even paying the surcharge makes this site worth visiting. Highly recommend this site and will be going back.

A great CC site, with high standards. Situated just 5-10 mins walk from the the lovely Cotswold town of Moreton-in-Marsh.
A big site with a small feel due to the pitches being in small sections. Both hardstanding and grass pitches available, all flat. 2 spotless toilet blocks on site and indoor washing up facilities too. Good dog walk on site.
3 sets of wardens so booking in is quick and efficient. You choose your own pitch (as you seem to with most CC sites these days) and then let them know. You are then issued with a barrier card to gain entry and exit from the site. The shop housed in the reception sells a range of foody essentials. No need to order daily papers, as they have a large selection in the shop each day but they charge 10p on top of the cost of each paper for delivery!
Town itself is a short walk from the site and always seems busy. We were there on a Tuesday which is market day so it was extra busy. Nice selection of shops including a large Budgens, and a small Co-op and Tesco Express.
There are lots of cafes, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs to chose from too - a lot of them being doggie friendly. Some of the pubs do offers for CC members showing their cards too - one had 10% off and one had a free glass of wine or lager with each main meal. We chose to eat in the Bear Inn (accepts dogs but not kids - bonus!) and it was lovely.
Again it was busy, but it's a 'sports' pub and had football on large screens in the bar.
Buses run from the town to various places including Stratford-Upon-Avon and Bourton-on-the-Water where we caught one to for just over a fiver for 2 adults and a dog!
A lovely place to stay for a couple of nights without moving the camper. I have no doubts we'll be back!

This is an excellent site for visiting many Cotswold villages and surrounding towns, such as Cheltenham, Worcester, Stratford and Cirencester.
The site itself is within a 10 minute walk of Moreton-in-Marsh which is a pretty village with plenty of places to eat and drink, many of which are dog friendly.
We had great food at both the White Hart Royal Hotel and Inn on the Marsh. If you are a real ale drinker the Bell Inn has a great selection and also offers free wi-fi.
Moreton is renowned for its Tuesday market with a varied selection of stalls. Many of the site pitches are set amongst trees and hedges which provide some privacy and is more pleasant then looking at a row of other caravans/motorhomes. The facilities are excellent and staff were friendly, we'll definitely be back!

Very clean and well-run site. 2 very clean toilet blocks, each with separate m/f wc's for use during cleaning. Free mini-golf (£10 deposit), boules court, football pitch (with a few holes) and decent adventure playground. Hedges have hollows inside for kids to play in, which is good for the adventurous ones. Pitches large and generally sunny, though the one we had had a low spot and during a deluge we had a stream running through one end of the awning, but the pitch drained well and dried out fast. Pitches along the road side could get noisy at times. Wardens helpful and pleasant at all times - if you want your grass trimmed at any point, they do it at once, for instance. 20 minute easy walk to town for market, supermarkets, excellent shopping (bookshop and toyshop in particular), pubs, restaurants and takeaways.

Stayed on the site for 5 nights and overall found the site to be of really good quality. The wardens seemed friendly enough. The site was very well cared for and the pitches nice and level.
The playpark was excellent along with the crazy golf and the football pitch.
The shower blocks were generally clean and tidy but not the best I've seen on a caravan Club site. The toddlers wash room was super with its child sized toilet and bath.
The walk into Moreton in Marsh was easy and level and with a great range of shops for everything you need. (the hardware store sells the aeriel leads for about £5! to enable you to boost the tv signal)
My only complaints are not the site nor the staff but the other holidayers! I have never had to endure so many unsupervised children! A 5 year old alone in the park asking me (a stranger) to help her down the slide! So many children on bikes without lights & the wrong way round the one way system! Children messing about in and out of the showers (perhaps that's why they are not as good as other sites). And finally the dog walkers who all use long leads meaning their dog was free to do his business on my pitch! Nice! It was cleaned up but I do have a young child playing in that area! I know none of this is the fault of the site but it did put a minor stain on a otherwise great site.

Stayed 2 nights at this site and will definitely be back. It has 2 excellent toilet blocks with ample toilets, showers, privacy cubicles. Good disabled facilities and baby changing facilities. The site is well lit at night and is kept clean and tidy but the excellent teams of wardens. We have 2 dogs, one of which is a deaf puppy and we really appreciated the safe enclosed dog exercise field, it was worth paying the pitch fee just to use this facilities. The site is well situated for visiting Moreton in Marsh and surrounding Cotswold villages and dogs are very welcome in the pubs in Moreton providing they take their owners with them.
Fresh baked rolls are available from the shop as are daily papers. On the Tuesday evening we were there a catering van arrived to sell takeaway curry and on Firday there is takeaway fish and chips.
I can't praise the staff at the site enough for the extremely high standards they maintain. Well done Caravan Club. Gold Star from us.

This site is all about the area and not the site itself. Moreton-in-Marsh is a lovely little town with several pubs to choose from. It’s also central to the Cotswolds and in very easy reach of Bourton-on-Water. The pitches are very close together which is a shame because it doesn’t give much space. You also can’t book specific pitches in advance which means it’s first come first served and we found it very difficult to find a pitch. We thought we had found a nice secluded pitch, but then discovered that on the other side of the hedge was the main road with lorries going by regularly and very loud motorcycles. The toilets are fine and the site is well kept, but I’m afraid it’s nothing special, and the inability to book a specific pitch in advance is a real disappointment.
