A lovely site just a 10 minute walk from the town. The pitches are gravel hardstandings and don't feel too cramped. The toilet block was large, modern and clean with good showers and dishwashing area.At the top of the site is the childrens play area, crazy golf and boules pitch. The booking in was efficient, the reception can order papers and supply the basics, although the town is nearby with a large supermarket and a small 'Tesco Express' open until 11pm. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in the town. A short 5 minute walk from the site is the small Wellington Aviation museum, dedicated to all those in Bomber Command who served at Moreton during the war (my own Dad included, did his aircrew training there). In fact the Caravan Club site used to be the site of the WRAF accomodation. A great site to use as a stopover or just a few days peace and quiet, to explore the nearby Cotswold villages.

Had stayed 3 nights at this site. The site is usual club site standard. Good hard standing with space for awning and car. New toilet block is really nice, spacious showers with lots of hot water. Great play area with swings for all ages, and mini assault course for all to enjoy.
Moreton itself is a nice village. It has a Tuesday farmers market where you can buy almost anything, and a supermarket (think its Budgens) plenty of pubs in the village, we had a evening meal at the In On The Marsh pub. The meal was well priced but doesnt really cater for small children as there was no childrens menu. Also had fish and chips from village, had to return the fish as the batter was really soggy and uncooked.
Went to Cotswold safari park and its a lovely day out, plenty to do for all. Kids liked the animals and the play areas. Take a picnic with you as the food is a tad expensive, but there is plenty of picnic areas spread about the park near the animals.
Bourton on water is a really pretty place as well with plenty to do, including a visit to the home of 'BRUM' at the motor museum. My 3yr old liked the icecream from the little icecream palour on the main street. So all in all a great place to stay with plenty to do.

This was our first time on a Caravan Club site, and I have to say we were impressed. The pitches were large enough for a caravan, awning and car. The roadways were tarmac so ideal for the kids to ride their bikes! The children's play area was excellent, they also had a football field, which was very popular with my boys! The toilet and shower blocks were very clean and looked quite new. A nice 10 minute walk takes you to Moreton in the Marsh, but the road is very busy, so children need to be watched. We stayed for 3 nights over the New Year, and would definitely return.

I thought this site was great!
The place was very clean and tidy and the pitches were spaced about the right distance apart with plenty of trees scattered around the site.
The toilet block was very clean and I never had to queue to use any of the facilities, all of which worked properly. You did not have to keep pressing the button on the shower, I hate that!
The playground was one of the best I have seen on a camp site and the adults seemed to be enjoying the obstacle course as much as the children.
This was my first trip in a caravan so I needed advice from the staff a couple of times, they were great and came over to the van and showed me what to do rather than just telling me and letting me get on with it.
The local town was very nice with plenty of places to eat and drink.
This site has a 5 star rating in the carvan club booklet. I would say it is well worh all those stars.

This site is very handy for Moreton in Marsh which is within easy walking distance. There are plenty of places to eat and drink there - pubs, restaurants and you can hop on the bus or train to go further afield. We stayed for 3 nights in the October half term and the site was full to capacity but it didn't seem it. I would highly recommend this site - pitches are spacious enough and you could eat your dinner off the floor in the toilet block! There were a couple of dog friendly pubs which was great as it was a bit cold to sit outside.
All in all we had a lovely time and will definitely be returning here.

Electric, non electric, grass and hardstanding spacious and level pitches to accommodate tents, caravans, and motorhomes. Excellent playground and plenty of space for ball games and dog walking. Campfires allowed and wood supplies. Onsite cafe for tasty takeaways, a small shop, a laundrette and modern centrally heated facilities. Find out more here

Just come back from a weekend on this site.
Lovely clean site and the dog walk is excellent (Jack the springer loved being able to run in quite a large area compared to other sites)
Toilet blocks are excellent
The staff were very helpful.
Moreton is a lovely village and there are nice pubs there for a meal.
Batsford Arboretum and Falconary Centre both well worth a visit.
If you venture to Oxford USE THE PARK & RIDE we didn't and couldn't park so we gave up.
We would definatly go back to this site.
However, there is a busy road near by it didn't bother us but we wouldn't want a pitch near it as I don't fully trust my Springer.

We have just spent 6 nights at this beautiful site, we stayed last August and decided to return this year after we where advised Tweksbury was under water, but mainly because the site is fantastic. The Village is 5 - 10 mins walk away, Moreton site have had a new toilet block built to commerate the centenary of the CC. There is a great Tuesday Market, Tesco, Somerfield in the village, lots of pubs, eating places. Well worth a visit.

We have just returned from an extended weekend at this site and to be honest were very sad to be leaving such a lovely place. The site is well laid out and pitches are clearly marked. The site was full but there are so many showers and toilets there was never a need to queue. The shared facilities are absolutely spotless. There are two large toilet / shower blocks one at each side of the site. The children's play area was a real hit with our children, and the football field provided entertainment for Dads too. The walk into town takes about 10 minutes and there you will find a good range of places to eat and drink. There area has suffered some terrible flooding but none the less most of the shops are open for business. It is a short drive into Stow on the Wold which has a larger Tesco (rather than the small Tesco Express in Moreton). The hardstandings aren't huge but there is room enough for a caravan, awning and the car parked across the front of the pitch. The main A44 runs outside the site and this is a busy road including large lorries, although there is some road noise we didn't find it too intrusive. There isn't an onsite shop as such, you can buy icecreams and cold drinks, eggs and papers, also television aerial leads to plug into the EHU bollard as this is the best way to get any sort of TV reception. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, the site is very well looked after and we will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time.

Just set up at this site for the next two weeks. Fabulous site, extremely clean, lovely spacious pitches (bang-on level). The site is designed so that there are lots of little roads to areas of pitches so that you do not get loads of people driving past all the time.
Dog walking area nice and generous, childrens play area very new, tidy and both set to one side of the site so not disturbing pitches but close and central to get to.
Staff extremely helpful and friendly (also squeezed us and a few others in when our Stratford site flooded).
Rules about arrival time and last vehicle movement which is great for those who like to get some sleep! The road is a main road but we find it quiet in the evening and our pitch is fairly close to it.
The toilet blocks are lovely, spotless and plenty of them so no queues for the showers. Site generally perfectly maintained. The water and waste service areas are again very tidy and plenty of them so not to far from the pitch.
Nice and close to the town (easy walking distance) which is very pretty and has lots of atmospheric bars/restaurants. Also a co-op and Tesco metro which is handy along with good quality local shops. Good road network for nearby attractions - Warwick, Stratford.etc
All in all well run (set rules without being stuffy), excellent value for money, would return again!
