Lovely location with just a five walk into Moreton in Marsh with a good range of shops from Aldi to small local shops.
Excellent cheese shop and the Mermaid fish and chip shop gives very large and tasty portions. Also recommend the Black Bear Inn for an evening meal.
Visited the British Heritage motor museum and can thoroughly recommend it.
We were on the new service pitches which were level and spacious, needed the TV hook up on the bollard which was good and the club WiFi was also excellent. Work was also on going on improving pitches etc but wasn't a problem.
Only downside was the wardens closed the nearest toilet block on Sunday despite the site being fairly full and heavy rain had caused floods which meant we couldn't reach the other block without wading through water.

Site well located just a short walk to village, and we’ll located for visiting many others of interest.
Some road noise on half of pitches so most try to find pitch on far side of site. Some white peg pitches on small side so if erecting awning would need to be on grass and not much room to park car.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers usual CAMC standard.
Phone reception ok on O2. TV signal poor unless you plug in and use long coax cable from bollard. Some of the EHU Bollards a fair distance from pitch so two leads maybe required.

Convenient for the town itself. The only pitches available for us were backing onto the road which is very busy day and night and the noise is intrusive. We didn't use facilities preferring our own as still wary of Covid.
Moreton in Marsh has declined in our opinion over the years with what seems more charity shops than any others.
There is now an Aldi within easy walking distance and a garden centre a little further on.
At the other end of town is a new Co-op having moved from the centre, inside is a good cafe. Other food establishments are few and far between with 4 cafes but two not open.
Similar story at nearby Stow on the Wold, also declined over the years. Both towns are very popular with visitors and don't seem to cater for them well.
TV is very poor so the booster system is a must (reception sell the necessary cable).

We stayed for one night as a stop over. The site is a large one, full of cul de sacs and a little confusing when trying to determine which pitches were empty.
It seems they have upgraded some of the hard standing pitches, meaning the free ones were tired looking, small and tucked away under the trees - staying for just one night this wasn’t too much of an issue.
Dog walk is a decent size and easy walk into town where there are a number of shops¡ cafes and pubs.

We have stayed at Moreton in Marsh many times over the years as its only 50 miles from where we live. Always enjoy walking into the town from the site (half a mile from site to High Street)
It was only two years ago we were last here and it was interesting to see quite a few changes. Firstly there is the introduction of some serviced pitches which are long overdue.
Secondly they have started to upgrade the ordinary hardstanding pitches although I imagine this is an ongoing process. We just happened to be pitched in the same cul de sac we were last time although on a different pitch. This area has been subject to pitch refurbishment and is much improved and more on a par with the best of Club sites. There are still a lot more to go but at least progress is being made.
Good to see that both motorhome service points now have the open drain. There seem to be food vendors on site most days which is convenient if you want a change from cooking.
We noticed four Safari Tents being erected which offers more choice to the site. As a result it does mean that the kick about area is no longer there but there is a nice looking adventure playground for the kids.
There is a new path which has been opened up near to the static units which offers an away from the road walk into the town and in the other direction to Batsford Arboretum.
Just arrived during our stay was the possibility of hiring a bike on site, either a push bike or an electric version. They are available via an App which has to be downloaded onto your Smart Phone.
I think the only site staff involvement is charging the batteries! Would be great if this could be extended to more sites.
One change we noticed in the town was that the Co-Op have taken over the premises that was formally Budgens and closed their smaller shop in the High Street.

Greenacres Campsite - Coleford
Greenacres Campsite is right in the middle of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley and surrounded by castles and abbeys, the River Wye, Symonds Yat Rock, and miles of walking and biking. Electric, non electric, grass and hardstanding spacious and level pitches to accommodate tents, caravans, and motorhomes. Excellent playground and plenty of space for ball games and dog walking. Campfires allowed and wood supplies. Onsite cafe for tasty takeaways, a small shop, a laundrette and modern centrally heated facilities. Find out more here

We have been regular visitors here for the past 7 years, it has slowly got worse. Has been closed for 6 months for improvements all we could see was serviced pitches made which they charge extra for.
The roads are in a very poor condition and when it rains they flood making it difficult to walk around site. They have added extra glamping which I do not agree with, it is The Caravan & Motorhome Club for tourning.
The new glamping has reduced the children's play area which surely will just encourage children to play around the site.
Walking round the site the standard of work done during the shutdown seems very poor, wooden borders surrounding the hardstanding which will not last
The only improvement is a new pedestrian gate into the field allowing easy access to town and Batsford Arboretum which is a lovely walk

Immaculate site with great landscaping, lots of trees but not too many!
A short walk into the town which looked lovely lit up for Christmas.
Spacious spotless shower blocks.
A bus stops just outside the site so it's well connected.
I can't wait to return.
Fab play park on site & mini chalets for those non camping friends.

A lovely, well maintained site which is within walking distance of the centre of Moreton in Marsh.
We had to cut our stay down to two nights instead of three due to the lockdown but hopefully we will be able to return next year.
The wardens are friendly and very helpful and do a great job of keeping everyone safe in the present circumstances.

Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Social distancing measures were very good and worked really well.
We did not feel compromised at any time.
We have visited here before and love the location as its a short walk into Moreton.
The site visits from the pizza and fish and chips vendors was welcome as it was difficult to find places doing food in the village in the circumstances.
Toilets and showers very clean with every other cubicle out of use so you didn't feel too close to other guests. Wristband entry to save too many people coming in but some people seemed to forget to leave the bands for the next person so you had to shout inside to see if anyone was there. This was nothing to do with the staffs efforts but down to people not thinking.
Our first trip out since Covid began and as dubious as we were, it has given us the confidence to carry on travelling this year where possible.
On Tuesdays there is a farmers marker in the village. We did feel uneasy walking around as people were in general carrying on as normal and not always heeding to social distancing.
Will be returning another time as we do love it here.
Well done to the staff for making us feel safe.

Have stayed here often and everything is up to the excellent standard that you expect from a club site. Great site as it is so close to the town, where there are a number of good pubs/hotels that serve good pub grub at reasonable prices.
We have come to expect and nearly always are met at club site with friendly and welcoming wardens, but during our stay here on 13th July we had the great pleasure to meet wardens Shirley and her husband, what a great couple, we had the same sense of humour and had a great laugh, they really are a credit to the club and meeting them made our stay extremely memorable.
