The site is up to the usual CC standards where wardens and toilet blocks are concerned. There is a huge dog field and a good children's play area, however the price rises quite a bit in the school holidays. It's a short walk to the village with a market on a Tuesday. The access road is good.
The bad point for us was the size of the pitch, it's a long pitch where you have your caravan and awning and your car in the front of the 'van. On some pitches the only place to sit out is on the strip in between the hard standings so that you are sat nearly underneath the window of next doors 'van. We still enjoyed our holiday but there are much better CC sites in the area.

We have just come home from a wonderful stay at this site. Everything ticked the boxes and possibly one of the best sites we have stayed at in 25 years.
Contrary to some reviews, we found the pitch had more than enough room for a large caravan, full awning and even space to erect a dog run. Although the site was very busy we never felt cramped, even with all our dogs (well behaved!)
The toilet blocks, showers, wash basins were excellent, clean and spacious. The hair dryers were free, the water was always hot and available. There is a laundry room, available 24/7 with very competitive prices, an inside washing up area, again very clean and with large sinks.
The dog walk was a large fully enclosed field, where the grass was always kept short. Our dogs loved chasing each other and playing and most days we spent at least an hour exercising them, confident that there was no way out!
The only down side was the TV reception but we purchased a lead from the office (£15) and it plugged into the facilities post behind the van and the reception was perfect.
This was our first visit to this site and although we rarely go back to a site, we will certainly visit and stay here again in the future.

Another lovely Cotswold campsite within easy reach of the local town (5 minutes walk from the site).
Nice, friendly wardens again and easy booking in. We were told to find our own pitch, which we did very easily and quickly as there was a minimal amount of choice (the site is always busy), not that it bothered us as we were only staying one night. We've heard lots of moans and groans about the size of the pitches (ie too small) but they all seem to be caravanners with caravan, car, enormous awnings and more kit than would fill a camping store! There was plenty of room on our pitch for our large motorhome so no complaints from us!
2 toilet/shower blocks on site, both spotless and up to the usual CC standard. Plenty of water points and bins on site too. Nice new information hut which has made the reception/shop a lot bigger too.
The walk into town is easy and flat and Moreton has plenty to offer you. Nice pubs, restaurants, cafes, a Tesco Express right in town and a larger Budgens at the top of town.
It was the weekly market day when we were there (Tuesday) and it was very, very busy. We had a nice lunch in the Redesdale Arms with friends and then a fantastic Indian takeaway later that evening that we picked up from Hassan Balti both good meals.
Hope to spend a bit more time here the next time we visit the Cotswolds.

Small pitches
We pitched on the outer part of the site. And the hedge was full of nettles which over hang on to pitch
Toilet blocks were clean
Easy walking or pushing a wheelchair into Moreton nice shops pubs
An arrival at certain times very difficult to find a suitable sized pitch for a twin axle
We had 2 vans in our party and struggled getting pitched together as my father in law is disabled as is our son
We mentioned this and were told that even if we booked disabled space they can't guarantee that we would be together
When we suggested there should be a bit if flexibility the staff were rude and offensive
We will not be back

Site itself very clean, but very noisy as by busy road, attendants un helpful, we booked for 2 nights and site not full, had to leave a day early but caravan club says no refunds on early departure, we have now cancelled our membership, most of the time the sites are full due to people booking all sites in advance and not turning up, if members like us adhere to the rules a little leeway should be given, this site is £22 per night and the village has nothing really, pubs are dire to say the least, go to riverside in stratford, a lot more to offer and only £20 per night, very disappointed with this one

Greenacres Campsite - Coleford
Greenacres Campsite is right in the middle of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley and surrounded by castles and abbeys, the River Wye, Symonds Yat Rock, and miles of walking and biking. Electric, non electric, grass and hardstanding spacious and level pitches to accommodate tents, caravans, and motorhomes. Excellent playground and plenty of space for ball games and dog walking. Campfires allowed and wood supplies. Onsite cafe for tasty takeaways, a small shop, a laundrette and modern centrally heated facilities. Find out more here

A nice site but subject to some road noise and pitches are a little narrow meaning that if you put up an awning you have to pull car in close to the hitch across the front of caravan or risk it being obstructive. One thing that did annoy me as we were trying to hitch up for return home at just gone 10. 00am they were allowing people onto site and we had to hold them up from finding the pitch they wanted. The toilet/showers are maintained daily. We did walk around the site and there is petanque, crazy golf and play area but may need some TLC. Within easy walking distance of the town but require a torch to walk back after dark. Several cafes, pubs and restaurants. A couple of small supermarkets plus a large supermarket at entrance to town.

A very pleasant site with easy access to Moreton village (10 minute walk) with a large variety of shops, pubs etc.
Excellent for children and dogs with clean, large showers (although the removal of the mop and bucket at Caravan Club Sites is not a good idea!)
The pitches are a little small. Perfect for the 'weekend awning' but I would imagine a little tight for the car, van and full size awning.
Road noise could be a problem if that sort of thing bothers you.
Will certainly go back next year for a week this time.

Just returned from 4 nights at this site. An ideal base to tour the Cotswolds. A lovely clean site, easy to find and quite spacious. Walking distance of the town, enjoyed the Tuesday market but we heard that for the first time the market had a spate of pick pockets, so be aware if you visit. Such a shame, as it's a pretty place and has lots of coaches dropping people off to visit on market day. Some of the pubs give a reduction on their prices for members off the CC. The toilet block was spotless, the showers were the best we've seen, spacious with an extra hook for the towel and a shelf, the privacy cubicles also had a little extra shelf to put toiletries on. The information room was excellent. Buses to Stratford stopped outside the site, other buses stopped outside the Corn Market in the town. The road outside was quite busy, so if noise affects you don't use the pitches near the road, other parts of the site are pretty quiet. As usual the wardens were all very helpful and friendly. We would return to this site to explore the area more in the future.

Arrived on site. Where we were booked in, site wardens, told us where to pitch up, having etc. Hook up. It was our first time at Morton on the marsh. Everything was at hand, toilets & washing up facilities, near by. Only short walk along the lane, to pubs, cafe's 'shops, as it was a Monday, we were told of a market day, on Tuesday. In the village, just 200yrds, away. Very nice people, lovely site, clean toilets. Will be going back. Had brilliant time. Mr & Mrs hill.

Stayed here over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Overall a fantastic site, well laid out, clean and good facilities. The site was almost full but you never feel on top of each other. The children's play area and football pitch was one of the best we have seen. The dog area was large enough to throw a ball for an energetic dog!
Nice extra's available such as fresh cooked pizza on a Friday and Croisants and papers on weekends.
Toilet facilities were clean but not spotless and I felt were cleaned too early but appreciate there is a lot to maintain. Overall an excellent site and wardens were extremely nice and helpful, witha a nothing is too much trouble attitude and we will definitely be going back.
