We visited for three nights and were very impressed with the site. The toilet block was spotless and very warm, the showers were great. There was a handy dog walk and we were only five minutes from the pretty little town of Moreton in Marsh. Both Stow in the Wold and Stratford upon Avon are fairly close by and the staff were friendly. This site may become busy in the warmer months but we definitely plan to return this year.

Moreton in Marsh Caravan Club site is easily located on the outskirts of this lovely village. The entrance to the site is easily negotiated, something we're always apprehensive about when towing a large twin axle.
The wardens were great, with the lady in reception suggesting that we amend our booking to a pitch with an awning to accommodate our large 'van. This we did and off we went in search of a pitch. There were plenty to choose from, although the site was surprisingly busy. Reversing onto the pitch was pretty straightforward and we didn't need to use the motor mover.
We found the facilities to the usual excellent Caravan Club standard, with the toilet and shower blocks some of the largest we've come across. The fish & chip van is there on Saturday evening for an hour between 17:15 and 18:15, although the pizza van which others have spoken about wasn't there on the Friday evening as we'd expected. The warden stated that it would be there at the end of the month, so not sure if it's a seasonal thing?
Moreton itself is wonderful with plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from. We had a nice meal in the Swan, which is the nearest to the site and we were given a discount on production of our Caravan Club card. It appears that the Swan has recently been refurbished and it made for a pleasant evening with a meal and local beers. Bear in mind that one side of the pub is given over to several TV screens showing Sky Sports, whilst the other side of the pub is the restaurant and nice and quiet.
The walk back from the village was in pitch black as there's no street lighting back to the site. Note to self: remember to take a torch!
There are plenty of boutique shops, which was great for some Christmas shopping! The whole of this small market town is like one big chocolate box. Something for everyone. There's a large Budgens on the edge of the village on the far side from the site, but still walkable.
We'll definitely be returning to Moreton.

All the other reviews have said it all really, easy access, well kept, close to the town, exceptionally friendly wardens, you will need rock pegs if putting up an awning, some pitches didn't seem to get as much sun as others and some pitches are smaller, we were pleased with our pitch. Nothing negative to say, we didn't move our car all week - we cycled to surrounding villages, ideal for motor home folk, great site well worth a visit.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in June 2015. 2 adults. We chose this site as we've stayed here many times before and always enjoyed our time here. It's a lovely picturesque site, we noticed a children's playground and dog walking area although we didn't use either so cannot really comment on these. There are 2 toilet blocks on site, the one we used was always clean and tidy, the showers worked well and the private washrooms had doors rather than curtains. We chose a south facing pitch where we could receive a satellite signal for the TV, which took a little bit of aligning through the trees but we managed. The hookup bollard did also have a freeview aerial socket on it but we couldn't receive a picture via this method.
The site is within walking distance to Moreton in Marsh where you can purchase items from small local shops eg arts, groceries and there is a market on market day - not sure if this is a Tuesday so please double check! there are mini local supermarkets and a supermarket, pubs/restaurants/takeaways, or if you fancy a walk through the fields you can walk up to the falconry center which is what we did. Members of the caravan club can get a discount on the entry price so 'two for one' entry tickets when you hand in a 'great days out voucher'- downloaded and printed from the caravan club website before the visit, you also need to show your caravan club membership card, so two adults for a total cost of just £10 which was well worth it. The falconry center holds flying displays of different birds throughout the day so it is very interesting. You can also drive to the falconry center which is approximately 2 miles up the road and it's free parking.

This is a great site in a fantastic location ! The site facilities are immaculate as you would expect from the Caravan Club, friendly wardens and very well kept grounds. There is a pizza van on a Friday and I must admit they cook some of the best pizzas I've ever had ! The town is a short walk from the site as has numerous pubs, shops (mainly charity) and restaurants ! The only downside is the TV reception is non existent so you will need an extension coaxial to plug into the point on the ehu (buy beforehand as the they're on sale on site at £25 ! (£4. 99 from Argos ) there is a large children's play area too all in all it's a great place we will return

Greenacres Campsite is right in the middle of the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley and surrounded by castles and abbeys, the River Wye, Symonds Yat Rock, and miles of walking and biking. Electric, non electric, grass and hardstanding spacious and level pitches to accommodate tents, caravans, and motorhomes. Excellent playground and plenty of space for ball games and dog walking. Campfires allowed and wood supplies. Onsite cafe for tasty takeaways, a small shop, a laundrette and modern centrally heated facilities. Find out more here

Really well located site on the edge of Moreton in Marsh. This is quite a large site and as someone else has said it is not easy to drive around to find a pitch. Some of the pitches are quite small and so only suitable for motorhomes.
The toilet facilities were as you would expect of a Caravan Club site - clean, tidy and modern.
There was noise from the adjacent busy road.
The pizza man came on Friday and the pizzas were made as you waited. Reasonably priced and a variety of toppings. Since we had pizza on Friday we couldn't really sample the chippy on Saturday.
There are a few good pubs in the town within walking distance and there is a Budgens store at the other end of the town. We ate at the Reddesdale Arms and it was decent food. There are buses from Moreton in Marsh to local places such as Stow in the Wold, Bourton on Water, Oxford and other places to save driving and there is a train station in the town.
All in all a well placed site for touring the Cotswolds.

Welcome at reception was very friendly and we were told to pick our own pitch. This is a very busy site though and it is difficult to find a pitch whilst driving round. The pitches are 9 metres long maximum and although it was no problem for us with a small outfit, if you have a van with a long shipping length plus awning, you might struggle to get your car across the front of the pitch.
The toilet/shower amenities were very clean and the showers are nice and roomy – best of all they don’t have push button valves and you can control the flow and temperature with two separate levers. My only gripe about this site was the fact that a large blade is supplied to clean the shower floor after use – it is not possible to clean truncated dome tiles with a blade. Water and a mop are required.
A pizza man came on Friday to cook wood-fired pizzas and fish & chips were available on Saturday, but as we did not avail ourselves of either facility I cannot comment on the quality or price.
The best thing about this site is the location – it is only a third of a mile to walk to the town and about twice that distance to Budgens. In between are Tesco and the Co-op. We only ate at the Black Bear and were very pleased with the quality of food and cooking. (Although the range of desserts weren’t so good. ) Tuesday is steak night – 2 steaks with a bottle of wine for £29. 99. Tuesdays are also market days and there are one or two stalls selling bits and bobs aimed at caravanners.

Reception staff very polite and helpful. Great set up site well laid out, pleany of room to park up on arrival. All pitches hard standing and was told just to drive on and pick one which was nice. Our sat TV picked up a signal and worked excellently, for the eastenders live reveal!
Facilities clean and plentiful. Best site we've stayed on for MH facilities, spacious on roadway easy to drive over waste disposal and water facilities on hand. Automatic barrier with swipe key always impresses me.
So close to the High Street where we enjoyed a fabulous meal in the Black Bear.
The fudge shop is also worth a visit, I can recommend turkishbdelight or the salted caramel but if they don't take your fancy I'm sure something will, there are so many flavours.

Usual lovely CC site.
Welcome from the wardens was extremely friendly and helpful. We chose our pitch and then let the wardens know which one we were on. The facilities were of the usual CC standard, warm and spacious showers with constant hot water and not the push button type. The pitches were big enough - not the biggest we've been on but not a problem. Fabulous location - a very easy stroll into Moreton which is very pretty and would highly recommend Sitara Indian Restaurant there.
There was an authentic pizza van there on the Friday night and we tried that which was delicious!.
All in all a lovely site, lovely surroundings and very friendly wardens.
Would definitely go back!

Lovely site and clean facilities. Good points - short walk to Moreton in Marsh and very close to other Cotswold beauty spots. The pitches are a little close but were not a problem for us. Areas to improve :
TV signal was so poor we had to use the on-site ariel facility which I was surprised at. The second toilet block was closed for cleaning between 10. 30 and 11. 30am so if this matters to you pitch near block number one and you wont be caught short at 10. 31am!
Over all a beautiful site which I would not hesitate to return to.
