This site is superb. The site was well presented, very clean and tidy. The toilet and shower blocks were spotless no matter what time you used them. Very well laid out pitches, with some slightly larger than others due to the layout of the site as a whole. There are some 'cul de sacs' which make for more private pitches. We stayed at the end of one of these so no passing traffic or people thus making it very private.

There are tv boosters on the EHU bollards, and we bought a 15m coax cable from the reception for this as the tv reception is poor.

The children's play area is excellent with crazy golf (hire up to 4 clubs and balls for 10 pound deposit), climbing frame, swings, and an obstacle course. The area was very well kept with a football pitch behind. Dog walking site adjacent, but no dogs allowed on play area which was impressingly unusual!

Dog bins and reminder signs all around site. No incidence of fouling.

Very friendly helpful wardens. 6 minutes walk to moreton in Marsh shops. Very handy Tesco and Co op. Visit nearby Chipping Campden, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the wold you won't be disappointed. Beautiful quaint towns.

Excellent site that I would recommend for all caravanners. I used the bus service from the town to visit other places and found the information centre within the town most helpful.

The only down side I would comment on would be the wardens themselves. They do not come across as friendly or welcoming, although it should be noted that the assistant wardens seemed far better suited to dealing with people. This topic of conversation was rife in the dishwashing rooms every evening therefore, I was not alone in my opinions.

Great site to relax and enjoy the surrounding cotswolds either by car or bus.

We used this site for two nights whilst touring Gloucester, Cheltenham & the Cotswolds, having passed through Moreton-on-Marsh on a previous holiday.

Upon arrival and us notifying staff that we were non-members, we were informed that it would prove very expensive for us (this turned out to be £24'ish per night for the motorhome, electric and two adults which, whilst a little on the steep side, we have encountered previously on other sites).

The site itself is very well presented and cared for. The toilet/shower block is immaculate and a credit to the cleaners.

Moreton-in-Marsh itself is a gorgeous little town, with plenty of pubs and eateries and, whilst we were there, on the Tuesday, there was a market in the town itself.

However, we made the mistake of going to Budgens for quite a substantial shop and found it to be very expensive - not ideal if you are a big family! Stick to Tescos or the Co-Op!

The only downside with the site we could mention is that Plot 1, which we were on, is very close to the path through to the other side of the caravan park - the downside of this was that we felt as though we were in a 'goldfish bowl' at times and particularly noticed people speaking loudly between themselves at night when we had gone to bed!

Excellent site, though, and we would use it again.

Arrived here for just a one night stay and was really impressed with the nice layout of the site and the facilities are some of the best I have come across

They have 2 shower blocks both with plenty of showers, toilets and private wash rooms. The site is just a short walk from the village of Moreton In Marsh, I would highly recommend this site to anyone.

We visited this site during a very wet March weekend to try out our new caravan & we were pleased we had a hard standing pitch. However after being asked to pitch on an empty plot & inform reception of its number we duly did this in the rain and after returning to reception we were asked to move as it was a pitch belonging to a motorhome. As the motorhome owner had not left a sign to inform us of this & after refusing to move in the rain and darkness by this point we were allowed to stay and the motorhome never returned! The wardens weren't very helpful in this matter.

The site had a small dog walking area, play area & football pitch. It had the usual clean toilet blocks expected at a caravan club site.

It was an easy walk into Moreton in the Marsh with its various shops and aircraft museum.

The chip van on a cold, wet friday night was a welcome sight.

This is a good site for a weekend.

We went with friends who have a motor caravan & we pitched on the hardstanding with them - plenty of room for both of us, we had a 5 man tent, & we still could put up a table & chairs.

The shower block was immaculate, best showers I've been to. The site was flat & well cared for, didn't require to use any other facilities other than the recycling point.

Well positioned for walk to Moreton on Marsh & short drive to Bourton on the Water & Stow on the Wold, also Moreton train station is close for visits to Oxford if don't want to take car

Moreton has ample pubs, restaurants & supermarkets

This is an excellent site with some of the best facilities I've come across. The site is huge, but it is well broken up and the facilities are numerous so there were never any queues. Staff were accommodating and helpful. This is, however, reflected in fairly expensive site fees.

Moreton in Marsh is a good location for exploring the Cotswolds. The town has an excellent TIC and several pubs and restaurants.

Overall, an excellent site - would certainly use again.

Visited in July, absolutely spotless, pitches very spacious and clearly set out. As with all caravan club sites you pick your own pitch on arrival. Toilets were very clean showers were piping hot, children's play area very good, dog walk (field) perfect out of site of campers. Only a short walk into moreton. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will use again for sure.

Just returned from a lovely, but very wet, week in the cotswolds! An absolutely lovely site, mainly hard standing (where unfortunately ours tended to flood as it never drained away properly). We would definitely recommend investing in steel awning pegs before you go as the hard standing proved to be very hard!.And expensive to buy in club site office.

The toilet/shower blocks were always immaculate, no matter what time of the day or night you visited. The cleaners should be highly praised for a job very well done.

We chose the side of the sight away from the playground area and found it to be very quiet and peaceful;the children's play area was lovely and seemed secluded and safe.

The local village is a very short walk away and has a Tesco Express, Co-Op and a larger Budgeons.

We had a really nice evening at the local pub 'The Red Lion' which served a scrumtious steak meal at a very reasonable price and certainly was value for money.

Take the local bus to Stratford On Avon (Number 21/22), takes approx an hour, visit Shakespeares birth place etc; runs every hour and 45 mins so check before you get to the bus stop.

Bourton on the Water is another lovely place to visit, lots of gift shops and tea rooms. If you can go when its not raining it's lovely to see all the little kids paddling in the shallow stream.Only a short drive away and easy to park nearby, even in August.

Now this not a moan, just an observation. We needed to buy a small part for the caravan water heater, but on asking the wardens and office staff on site where the nearest caravan accessory shop might be found, we were given a shrug of the shoulders and the reply, 'dunno, about 20 miles away maybe', which in effect turned out to be a round trip of 110 miles! On reflection wouldn't it be nice to think that this would be the sort of information that they would have to hand. Something we feel would be worth considering.

This didn't take away the lovely week we had and would definitely go again. Hopefully with the sun in tow next time.

Nothing overall to fault this site, first impressions are very important and this ticks all the boxes. A lovely Miss Marple village, typical CC lovely entrance, friendly staff and a great mixture of pitches although some had the feeling of being a bit cramped. Taking the advice of previous reviews we looked at pitches further from the road but as stated we found the majority of available pitches to be tight with regards space, the best and day time quietest pitches were nearest the road but the trade off is the early morning traffic noise as this appears to be the main road to Oxford for HGV's. The facilities are up to the high standard of CC sites and the village and local market are England at its best. My youngest took great delight in taking a photograph of the local estate agents office window showing the dearest house as 2.8 million and the cheapest 3/4 million.
