 Stayed here for weekend shower, toliets, basic but clean . Very peaceful, lovely walks straight from the campsite no shop, clubhouse, but this is what we like , campfire at night good food plenty of wine what more could you want. The owner margaret was very friendly and helpful, there is no pressure to get packed up when its time to leave and you can pitch anywhere.
Would go back to this site .

A group of 6 recently visited the site. There was a choice of 3 fields to camp on, we went for the furthest field, which was sloping but quieter than the other fields.
Fires were allowed with a fire basket provided by the farm. The toilets were clean but there were only 3 ladies and 1 gents and only one shower for men and women! We were waiting for about 45mins for a shower which was a real pain.
The site is in the middle of nowhere, nearest pub was over a mile away, The Bull i'th Thorn, but we did not rate the pub at all and out of 6 meals requested they didn't have 4! Service was a bit shoddy and 3 steaks ordered to be cooked the same all came out different!
Overall the site is ok, you get what you pay for, it's only £5 per person per night.
