May 2005 Excellent.. For the bank holiday I thought it would of been busy, all crammed in like sardines. No not here, the pitches are so well spaced out, you've loads of room. The whole place is beautiful and set in to the most wonderful surroundings. While we were there they put on a beer and cake tasting held in the court yard which I thought went down very well and with the other campers too. Everyone was in high spirits chatting to each other.
The facilities I found very clean at all times and provided soft loo roll too. 20p for the showers, hot but you got to be quick before your money runs out. The only bad thing I would say is that you have to have a key to go to the toilet, shower or infomation. I'm not sure of the reason but it is very annoying when you need to wee quickly, almost always forgetting the key!

May 2005 Spent a peaceful relaxing weekend here and would highly recommend this site. Beautiful surroundings and lots of wildlife-within an hour of arriving an owl flew right past our van! Lots of walks right from the site and only a short drive from Grassington. Clean facilities and an onsite shop for essentials, plus you can order newspapers. We will definitely stay here again.

July 2004 Had our first camping break there a couple of weeks ago, with a borrowed tent - what a lovely place! The people are friendly and unobtrusive. The site level and sheltered. We pitched near the ball games field with two little ones (perfect for frisbee/kites etc).
Toilet and shower facilities were clean. One minor gripe – the shower runs for only 4 mins not the 6 it says on door).
Small shop good for papers and milk etc. small toys.
Place teaming with wildlife. Highlight of our stay was the owl that landed right outside the tent on a post. Could see in silhouette against the sky. Rabbits all over the place when you go to the loo at night.
Plenty to do in the surrounding area. If all campsites are like this it'll be great. we're hooked. Next stop Cayton Bay in Scarborough.

May 2004 Lovely, lovely place to stay. Peaceful, wide open spaces, imaculate toilet facilities, very friendly and helpful owners. We can't wait to go back again! Our two children loved it too.

June 2004 Excellent camping site, very clean, nice and quiet. Both showers and toilets were very clean indeed and well lit at night time. Owners were very friendly and helpful.
Those darn midgies just loved me though.

May 2004 Several visits now - the best site we've been to. Excellent for children (smashing safe park area where new friends are made!) Owners (the Thompson family) are very friendly and helpful and always make you feel welcome. Beautiful location, spacious pitches together with spotlessly clean toilets and showers. The statics (only 10 or so) are so well equipped and come with numerous surprises including fresh flowers! Don't let the midges spoil your holiday though - go with plenty of insect repellent!! Plenty of places to visit with excellent walking from the site! We'll be back in August... and October... and again next year!... highly recommended.

july/03 very nice site in beautifull suroundings - plenty of room around pitches - facilities very clean ( although the showers where seperate from tiolet block which was a bit of a pain - and when paying 15 per night i think the shower should be free) planty of hot water in tiolet block though with enclosed cubicles and also for dishwashing - site also has recycling bins and is teaming with wildlife - the playarea is to one side and there is a feild for ball games - there is also a lovely dog walk which is a good size - owners/ staff extremely friendly and helpfull without being too obtrusive - site organised a treasure hunt on the sunday which was great fun - highlight of the weekend was a meal at devonshire hotel in grassington ( which site guests receive discount for) best meal we have had!! do take insect repellent for the evenings and early morn

July 2003 This is the first site we have ever visited, having just purchased our first tent. If all sites are like this one then we have made a very wise investment! The place was very spacious and well laid out. Amenities were kept spotless and the staff were very friendly.my only disappointment were the midges (or is this a thing we will have to get used too!!). Will definitely visit again armed to the teeth with insect repellent!!
