Great location, lovely owner, clean, cheap etc , however there is no shower which was a shame.
However, for £5/ night however I can’t really complain :)

Lovely campsite with great facilities! The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The area of the campsite we stayed in was so cosy with lots of trees and a stream nearby.
Listening to the sounds of nature whilst relaxing in my tent was amazing!
I have recommended this campsite to my other friends and will definitely visit again!

Initially disappointed as you have to leave your car in the car park, but a lovely site with assorted small pitching areas
Staff very friendly and helpful

There is nothing to dislike about this campsite from location, facilities, hosts.
With two of our group who'd never camped before it was a fabulous break away.

The campsite itself was excellent with all the facilities you might need with a pub and cafe at each end of the village,
Surrounded by excellent hiking trails.
Just make sure you take plenty of 20 pence coins for the showers!.

Friendly site in good location in Edale. Facilities were fairly basic but very clean and offered what was needed.
The only real problem was the noise from the freight trains in the night. I don't know if it was particularly loud where I was camping but it woke me a few times. It was a shame because it was otherwise a perfect spot.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We have visited Fieldhead on a number of occasions in the past, and there have been been considerable improvements in the quality of the site facilities since our previous visit.
The staff are helpful and courteous and the site is well maintained, with a choice of separate fields at different levels, all of a compact size so there is no obvious overcrowding.

Nice well-kept site with good facilities.
Clean and tidy. Good options for tents including either side of a river/stream.
Only minus is lack of electrical sockets.
