Lovely views from this site and facilities were spacious and modern. The reception experience was basic, it could have been more welcoming and informative.
The taps in the washing up area were a pain, they delivered water for no more than 3 seconds per press, but there were lots of sinks and a dayroom with food prep facilities for the tent campers.
We used the footpath through the woods to get into Keswick but it was rough underfoot and steep in places, a few slips but thankfully no injuries.
Alternatively there is a good bus service at the end of the lane approach.

Well kept site and good size pitch areas. Great for long or short walks.
Nice walk through a wood down to Keswick.

An amazing site, well maintained and well managed by the staff.
Perfect location for a wander into Keswick or a hike over Latrigg or Walla Crag.
Brand new facilities back in 2019.
Definitely worth a visit for a peaceful break away!

60 years of camping and in my opinion, this is the best site I have ever used. Friendly, helpful reception.
Superb facilities kept absolutely clean. Showers, wc, hand basins pristine. Even the mirrors were perfectly clean. (no splashes).
Great views from every pitch.
Short walk into Keswick with all that has to offer (Bus will take you back up the hill to the site)
Pitches fairly flat and well spaced.
Good facilities for cooking and eating on rainy days.
I'll be back soon. 😍👌

Beautiful campsite surrounded by fells. Superb views that shift and change with the weather.
Strict 10. 30pm silence policy which we love. A short walk to castlerigg stone circle.
A lovely little gallery and cafe across the road.
Excellent facilities. I imagine it gets rammed in summer but we shared it with only a handful of other winter campers and caravanners.
Will definitely return.

Castlerigg Farm is a great place to camp with lovely clean facilities to use on site and very close to Keswick.
The views from the site were spectacular too. I also found the staff very friendly and helpful,
The site provided a dayroom where you could sit and have your breakfast and for a small fee could have use of a toaster and kettle.
