Great campsite, with good precautions against Covid-19 - the owners have gone out of their way to expand pitch sizes (at their expense) to reduce covid risk.
Don't believe BBC weather - was meant to rain all the time we were there and we had 2 essentially rain-free days.
Shower / toilet facilities are good and with a 4 in at once cap (mostly there was no-one else in when I went) so I did not feel at risk to Covid-19.
Location is good with good access to great walks and Buxton. The owners were extremely friendly.

Lovely weekend at Shallow Grange. Great facilities Lovely and clean with good covid-19 security precautions in place. Peaceful stay on a lovely flat pitch.
If you are looking for peace and quiet with good facilities I would recommend.
We cycled the Tissington trail from camp site and walked the following day.
Thanks we will be back.

This is a very nice little site. Everything is kept clean and tidy.
The people who own it are very friendly. The views are really nice.
There is a little road noise.

Friendly campsite. Lovely grass to pitch on (I didn’t have to fight to get tent pegs in, fab!) and easygoing.
Facilities are basic but they are kept very clean so if you’re a real camper it will be fine.
Found it easy to get to places. The site manager is friendly. Had a lovely fire on the fire pit each night.
Highly recommend the Anchor Inn at Tideswell.

Marilyn was amazing, saved the day by squeezing me in onto the site, and she was extremely helpful and friendly.
The site was lovely and peaceful,
The facilities were great and it was clean and very well set out.
We had a lovely time and I’m sure we will be back again.

Wonderful campsite. Ed and Marilyn are welcoming and helpful hosts. Facilities are modern and spotlessly clean (showers, Loos, washup, laundry, recycling). Tons of space between pitches.
Great location for walks in Deep Dale or Chedale - Thirst House Cave a great adventure for kids!
Site was managed so well for Covid considerations - managed access to facilities, regular sanitising - but hardly any queuing.
Very efficient. Charming site, highly recommend it.

We stayed in the top field with electric hook up and the pitches are flat and wide allowing for easy social distancing.
There is a gate leading to a field that you can walk your dog as well as many other lovely walks in the area. It is a short drive to Chelmorton where the pub was open.
The COVID 19 rules mean only 4 people at a time in the toilet blocks ( 4 in the ladies and 4 in the gents). You leave a stone on a stool when you go in. If there are already 4 stones on there then you have to wait.
The toilet block was kept clean and there was lots of hand soap and cleaning spray for people to use. It felt very organised and safe.

Beautiful campsite with lovely views, good facilities, lovely walks from the campsite and super helpful owners.
Perfect for a relaxing weekend away.
We would definitely go back. Particularly good to be on the top field, quiet with good views and loads of space to relax and play.
