We booked for a couple of nights with our 2 grandchildren. There was a mad hatters tea party on the 1st day which the kids dressed up for and loved it.
Train ride around the park and lots of games.
The site was quiet which we didn't mind still loads to do.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
We had a lovely breakfast on the last morning and really enjoyed our visit.
PS the carrot cake was to die for 😁.

Great campsite. Very clean, brilliant entertainment and the kids had an amazing time!
We visited matlock and also the huge market nearby and we even caught some fish on the site.
We will definitely be back. 10/10 for us 😁
P. S. The addition of a swimming pool or large paddling pool would be great at this site!

We picked this mainly for the playground for our daughter. She loved the playgrounds. They were clean and well maintained.
We were in our motorhome but still used the facilities which were clean and tidy and perfectly useable. They were regularly cleaned from what we could see.
We purchased food and drinks from the cafe/bar and both were reasonably priced and tasty. Although I would say on a couple of occasions the staff weren’t wearing masks inside and also some of the guests, but I think these may have been regular guests. They were friendly and helpful and saw them picking up litter in the playground.
We were a little disappointed with the site though as it was more like a large car park and seemed to be a little close together. We were parked opposite the toilet block on a slope and we couldn’t use our sun canopy. We could have possibly asked to be moved but we were only there for 3 nights.
We found that some of the older kids seemed to be left to their own devices in the play area, which my daughter found a little bit overwhelming. It did say children to be supervised at all times but some parents didn’t seem to care. They did have entertainment on for the children which was popular and fun.

We had an amazing time, there was everything we needed and everything was very clean.
There was hand sanitiser everywhere also and we felt that the staff were doing everything they could do to make things as safe as possible.
It was our first time here and we will definitely return.

Lovely site, toilets regularly cleaned, kids absolutely loved it.
Zip wire closed due to covid but distancing in site was sensible without being intrusive.
Excellent security and site rules adhered to by almost all campers.
Thank you and we will definitely be returning.

Great site plenty of parks for kids to play on and very safe. Great cafe reasonable priced.
Brilliant clean showers and toilets. We went Monday to Thursday so was not as busy as weekends.
Only negative remarks are there is no shop to buy essentials but close to supermarket in Riddings. And a swimming pool would be the icing on the cake if there was one.
Lovely walks nearby from the camp.
