 A beautiful ultra quiet with well set out pitches, and a lovely well maintained swimming pool. Alan and Jaqi the proprietors are a very nice couple, and always around if you need and help.
The variety of wild birds on site are also a nice welcome, and they appear to be used to visitors feeding on the numerous bird feeders.
All in all a caravanning and campsite to be proud of.
We visited the local windmill and the local Miller who let us have a free roam of the traditional working windmill, in which we climbed to the very top inside the roof and popped our heads out of the highest point.
The Miller was a real salt of the earth local guy, who seems to know everything about everything talking to us for over three quarters of an hour.
Overall we highly recommend greendale caravan park to get away from it all, and reset in the quietest place we have ever stayed in 😊.

A wonderful site, set in the heart of Rutland. 14 pitches, hardstanding and grass, all with electric.
The owners, Jaqui and Alan, maintain the site to the highest standard and make you very welcome.
The roadways, grass areas, borders and shrubbery are outstanding. With the lovely little swimming pool, the shop with masses of books / videos to borrow and the spotless toilets /showers, this is a highly recommended site.

Highly recommended, Alan and Jaqui are the best. Fantastic campsite, perfect in every way.
Will definitely return.
Great things to see in the area around the camp or just stay put and enjoy the peace and quiet.

A small and perfectly formed campsite with access to lovely countryside and facilities in and around the county of Rutland.

We stayed at Greendale for 3 nights, what a wonderful site.
Good clean facilities, very helpful owners,
Lovely peaceful location near to Oakham.

All sites should be like this!
Great location, tranquil and spotlessly clean and tidy. Very helpful and friendly owners.
Dog friendly with good local walks. Whissendine is a 10 minute walk with small shop and a pub.

Excellent well maintained site with good facilities in a fantastic location for touring Rutland.
Easy travelling to Rutland water. Visit to Stanford is a must if not been there before.

Greendale Farm is a beautifully maintained tranquil site owned by Jaqi and Alan who are friendly and helpful.
The toilets are very clean.
The surrounding area is peaceful and beautiful with Rutland Water close by which is great for walking and cycling. Oakham and Melton Mowbray are lovely places nearby to visit.
We loved our stay at this site.

Our first visit to this lovely site, but will definitely not be our last.
Peaceful, well laid out and very well maintained.
Owners made us feel very welcome.
Great idea to have a bird-feeder beside each pitch, and a joy to see so many birds on site.
