Site is very clean
Well laid out
Staff are excellent
Toilets are the best I've seen to date, could have another toilet block as not sure how they would cope when busy
Buses at lay-by to Lancaster Morecambe or kendal
All in all 10 out of 10
Other sites take note
Highly recommend

Pleasantly surprised as this not the type of site we would usually choose due to the large number of static units.
Pitches were marked out by hedges, very generously sized and fully serviced.
The dog field was large and totally secure!
Toilets were spotless.
Site was great in June, not sure how it would be in a busy August!
Carnforth is just down the road and has a Tesco and an Aldi.

Easy access from A6. Tarmac access road. Reception was helpful and friendly. Escorted to pitch and was asked if I needed help in manoeuvring on to pitch.
Pitches are large and serviced. There was a TV phone connection on the EHU I had better reception from my roof aerial. The hardstanding was slate chippings.
Toilet areas were very well maintained and cleaned regularly. When you arrive you are given advice regarding the bar hours and food hours in the bar restaurant.
The bar prices were reasonable and we ate there a couple of times. Food was good and service was quick. The bar does have a beer garden but in my opinion this beer garden lacked atmosphere.
The pitches are fully serviced with hedges separating the pitches. There are plenty of good walking paths.
To walk onto the main road you need to walk up a couple of fairly steep stretches of road, it took me 20 minutes to walk to the nearest pub the Royal, without the hills it would have been a 10 minute stroll.
There are various shops a short drive away, Coop, Tesco, Booths and Aldi, we used Morrisons at Morecambe which was about a 10 minute drive.
I would go again and it is a good site.

As others have mentioned a very quiet site with very clean facilities, large pitches partitioned by hedges.
An easy walk to the bay though if the tide out not much water to see.
The on site bar was modern and very friendly offering nice pub grub and drinks at certain days of the week.
A bus stop along the main road by the lay-by running two to the hour which we used to visit Lancaster on one of the days.

Really nice quiet site with great facilities.
Friendly staff and the dog friendly bar was a win for us.
As a newbie the layout was easy to navigate and the wardens help with reversing was great

Nice big pitches with hedges in between. Cost was reasonable considering it was fully serviced. Facilities were spotless and the restaurant's dog friendly room is a really good idea for the evenings when it is not really warm enough to sit outside on a terrace.
Great walks along the bay and an excellent garden centre not far away serving really good food.
Only real concern was the number of children riding around at great speed especially down the hill. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay and intend booking again

This is a great site. Staff are friendly and helpful. Facilities are very good and kept spotlessly clean.
Disabled shower facilities also. The campsite runs a policy of quiet and no music after 10pm and this was enforced by the Wardens which we loved.
The food from the restaurant was lovely we had a pizza and burger as takeaway and it was home cooked and very tasty.
Might be a little more expensive than some sites but definitely worth it for the facilities.
We will be using this site again.

Bay View is a lovely campsite. Pitches are very generous.
Shower/toilet blocks spotlessly clean.
Food from restaurant is very good quality and large portions. (we had takeaway).
The only fault is there is no electric hook up for tents.
All in all fantastic site.
