 This was our fourth visit to Bay View this year and again, everything about the site was great.
The pitches are a great size and well separated by hedges providing lots of privacy and the facilities were beautifully clean as always and lovely and warm.
The weather was poor when we were there but we still had a great time and there is plenty to do within a decent radius of the site.
Can’t wait to go back again.

I’ve already reviewed this site twice this year (February and April) but this was our first time going during the school holidays so I thought I would make a comment about this.
I am always wary of going away during school holidays because children can get a little over excited and disturb my sought after peace and quiet but Bay View remained lovely and peaceful, even at the end of July.
I think because much of the site is seasonal pitches, the seasonal folks are usually only around at the weekends so during the week, it is very quiet.
However, even at the weekends the site was still peaceful.
There were a number of kids around but they all seemed polite and quiet and the children’s play area is quite far from the pitches so any noise from there won’t carry to the caravan.
We had a lovely week and will continue to go to Bay View when we don’t want to travel too far from home.

This was our first visit to Bay View from the minute we arrived the service we received was 5 star.
After checking in a warden met us and showed us to our pitch then helped me back in.
Well laid out site including the dog field.
Toilets and shower block spotless.
More dog poo bins would make it even better.
We enjoyed the site that much we have booked to go for longer in a week's time.

Great facilities. Always clean, good staff, good location and easy to get to.
Hard standing and fully serviced pitch. 16 amp electric.
3 nights +1 free.
Club House only open weekend's.
Lots of supermarkets within a mile or so.
Will go again.

This is our regular site for quick weekends away and I have reviewed it before a couple of times however, I just wanted to note that the new toilet block is now open and is really excellent.
My only gripe is the same as I have for many sites -push button showers! Apart from that, the block was spacious, immaculate and lovely and warm.
This is a very welcome addition to what has always been a great site.

We had a lovely three nights at Bay View. As always, the sites was immaculate and even though it poured down the whole weekend, the large hardstanding pitches coped well.
The site was very peaceful and quiet which you would expect in February.
In my review last year, my only criticism of the site was the second toilet block which was in a portacabin. It was great to see that a new toilet block is in the process of being built where the old portacabin block used to be.
This looks great from the outside and while we were there, builders were hard at work doing some beautiful stone cladding that made the outside look a little like a dry stone wall.
This will look beautiful when finished and I am sure the inside will be just as good.
This will be an excellent addition to what is already a great site.

Hands down one of the most beautiful, clean sites we’ve ever visited. Fantastic dog exercise area and dog friendly pub and restaurant. Food lovely and reasonably priced.
A huge thank you to the friendly staff, from reception, wardens and bar staff. Their service is to be commended.
Cannot wait to return for a longer stay.

The caravan was absolutely beautiful,
The campsite has everything a family needs, or is only 5 minutes away,
Our host really made us welcome beds made, tea and coffee, even a fresh bottle of milk, she left us biscuits and chocolates, wow,

Lovely site, very friendly and helpful staff.
Facilities clean and tidy. Bar and restaurant staff helpful, food great and drinks average price.
Overall had a great time at the site and is ideal for links to Morecambe and Lancaster.
The only downside is they don’t do electric hookups for tents.
But it must be a good site as we’ve return 3 times even without electric.
