Lovely big site with stunning views.
Quiet too considering it was full.
We were late afternoon arriving and only issue was tracking down an electric hook-up but the spot we found was great.
Plenty of space for kids to run round and cycle about.
Toilet and shower blocks are clean and the on site shop is well stocked. We used the Barn Cafe shepherd hut takeaway twice and both times it was excellent.
Will definitely be back in future

A great site with good facilities, notably the large cubicle available for washing and esp teeth cleaning.
Thanks to every one concerned,

This is one of the best, all round sites, I have ever visited.
Its enormous, busy, and beautiful.
Static caravans, tourers, campervans and tents are all catered for.
On site facilities are superb, and the shop is very well stocked ( pricey though).
The views from the site are unparalleled, and there are sheltered spots to pitch your tent if the constant wind gets too much.
In very busy periods you may struggle to find a reasonably flat pitch.
At £15 pn for a tent pitch, it is reasonable vfm.
Gairloch has a small shop which is cheaper than the site shop.
My kids would have loved this place, when they were younger.
Not only is there a playground with zip slide, but the sand dunes would have provided hours of fun for them.
Very quiet at night, and a nice mix of ages on site too.
This area of Wester Ross is breathtaking, and if you can make the long journey, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely stunning site and location.
Facilities are absolutely immaculate.
Staff are very professional and discreetly keep an eye on things.
I chose to pitch down in the dunes which does restrict your view but brings you closer to the beach that is accessed via the sand dunes.
Very informal as regards pitching your caravan, just be respectful of your neighbouring visitors and maintain 10m distance as requested.
My only criticism would be that there could be more water points for fresh water for those of us who choose to go to the lower levels of the caravan park. Other than that I honestly cannot fault this amazing site.
There is a well stocked shop with cycle and boat hire.
A lovely cafe/ restaurant which serves alcohol. A nice relaxing place to enjoy an afternoon refreshment.
If like me you are towing I’d suggest entering from the north route at Corrie Shalloch Gorge 12 miles south of Ullapool. This road provides a lane in each direction with no single track which allowed easy towing of my 7. 98m twin axle caravan. The 3 mile road to the site from the village presents no issue. The site is approximately 45 miles from this junction.
All in all a great site which will have you waiting with great anticipation for your next trip

We first stayed for 1 night and then later came back for another 2 nights.
The location is stunning, stretched out in the dunes and at a long sand beach. We found very private pitches in the dunes for our small van and tent, it was very quiet at night.
The facilities are very good, and there is a nice restaurant on site.

Wasn't too impressed on arrival to be told just to find a pitch, on such a randomly laid out site.
All the hardstanding pitches seemed to be taken and we struggled to find a good spot, but I guess in future we'd know the site better and would know where to look - also it was very busy so not a lot of spare space.
However, once we found a reasonable spot we warmed to the place - fantastic views and although the toilet blocks look really shabby from the outside, inside they are really clean and modern, spacious and decent showers.
Ate one night in the cafe which was good.
Why do we have to give a score for child friendliness when we don't have children.

Lovely site with lovely views. Great facilities, kept nice and clean.
Our only concern would be trying to find an electric hook up point when dark falls.
We enjoyed our cycle out to the lighthouse,
Lovely views over to the Isles. Staff were friendly and helpful,
We would definitely be back.

Great location by the wonderful sand dunes and beach. Very exposed site so check the forecast before putting up your awning.
Lots of midges but that's Scotland.
Facilities really good and very clean. The shop is very well stocked with pretty much everything. Food at the cafe/restaurant is fine. Very good local shops too. Very poor wi fi and phone signal( mine didn't work at all).
Dont know about child friendliness as doesn't apply to us.
