After a slight hiccupp on arrival when we really weren't happy with our pitch (we managed to move), the rest of our holiday went very smoothly without a single criticism!
Great facilities - we used the pool every day, the restaurant several times (good food and value for money), entertainment a couple of times which was also of a high standard. There was a circus included in the price which was fantastic! A good play park and a very large area for ball games and running around.
Showers/toilets a good size and very clean the whole time we were there which was down to the wardens who were all very friendly and helpful.
There aren't many sites we return to but we will definitely return here as we feel it will continue to offer our children entertainment and new experiences as they get older.

Folding camper. Great site with (cold) outdoor pools and an inside pool with flume. Excellent entertainment. 2 fields with caravans the rest of the site is statics. Not far from edge of new forest but biking with kids on busy road might be a worry. Shame there's no lane directly to it.
Showers and loos ok but only cleaned once a day. Food edible but not very healthy, fresh or exciting. Avoid curry night.
Shop on site is good.
Couple of other campers bikes stolen.
I like the site but its expensive and they could do a few things better to enhance holiday.

We found this site easily from sat nav directions. The journey took us through parts of the New Forest which is stunning. The park is set back from the road in it's own grounds down a long lane with speed bumps and marked crossing points so I immediately felt it safe to let my children explore.
Although they state check in is 12pm - once the pitch is free you can set up - we arrived at 9.15am after a 5.1/2 hr drive, checked in, parked in car park, had breakfast and was on the pitch and set up ready to go by 12pm!
The touring area is very well kept with lovely wardens who go out of their way to help. The ground is very level, free from litter but so hard - we even bent rock pegs!
There are 2 touring fields and we were on Aspen. There is 1 toilet block placed centrally, kept immaculately clean and with more than enough showers, sinks and toilets.
There is little noise during the day or after dark. The site has lots of free amenities, those that are chargeable are very reasonable. My daughter won a daily activity competition and received a family pass to a nearby theme park worth £42.00. The children's and family entertainment was good - but not as good as at other Hoburne sites.
Pools were lovely - warm, clean and plenty of room even on BH weekend. Restaurants were good and very reasonably priced.
This site is close to Christchurch and Bournmouth on the cost and the New Forest inland. We had 9 days here and felt we had hardly touched on the beautiful area. I would recommend visiting Brockenhurst and Boscombe beach. A passenger ferry is available at Milford on Sea over to Yarmouth on the IOW.
Would I return - definitely. I did feel it was a little expensive at over £37 per night but that was for 6 of us. I looked at touring in the New Forest and was quoted £25/night with no electric and no extras other than toilet facilities! My children aged 8 and 16 loved it here. They love Hoburne Cotswolds more though! Overall mark 9/10

Pros
Our second visit to this site (our club visits here at least twice a year!)
Wrote to the management on my return as every part of our stay, the toilets, meal, entertainment, breakfast etc was first class!
Site is well kept, level with a well stocked shop, indoor pool, mini bowling alley, golf etc.
We've never been in peak season so could be swarming with kids for all we know, but in April & December it's very quiet for such a large site. Nice 20min walk in to New Milton with everything you need.
Cons
None! We've already booked for next Christmas and cancelled Sandy Balls!

Absolutely fabulous place. We spent a few days in the worst weather possible, heavy rain for the majority of our stay but our 5 yr old grandson was never bored.
Indoor and outdoor pools, bowling, amusements, crazy golf, park area, etc.
The evening entertainment was brilliant for the little ones and the entertainment team were great.
Will definitely go back though we'll have to rent a static again as they don't accept tents. We only left the site to shop as being fairly local we have seen all the sites
It's pricey but you feel like you've had a proper holiday, can't praise it enough.

We had a two week stay with children 8 and 4 years old. Pitches are spacious and mostly divided by small hedges, with pea shingle area for pitching awnings. Please take good rock pegs as the shingle is well compacted. The staff were vigilant about parking vehicles on the tarmac which means the grass is in good nick, even towards the end of the season.
Site facilities like play area, indoor and outdoor pool are good size and well maintained. Payable activities – crazy golf, pitch and putt etc aren’t overpriced. The clubhouse is typical of such sites - gets very crowded early evening, fair selection of bar meals and takeaway, high bar prices, arcades to eat your pocket money – no different to other large commercial sites if that’s what you look for (we don’t but like the attraction of an indoor pool if raining)
Toilets and showers were always clean and tidy (and plenty of them for the size of the fields) and we had some really heavy showers and rain at times in middle of high season so easily could have got muddy and dirty.
The site has good location, being convenient to the Forest itself, nearby towns and supermarkets, shingle beaches or places for ‘crabbing’ and main resort of Bournemouth nearby (park at train station in new Milton and get a travelcard which includes the buses as well)
Overall we had a good holiday – despite patchy weather but one real downside – our daughters bike was stolen from inside the play area – wardens and reception staff basically staff shrugged their shoulders and no real help at all – we reported to local police ourselves. There’s probably a residual amount of crime in such a large site but left a nasty sting towards the end of our holiday. Heard from a fellow camper about money being stolen from their daughter in club also and they met with similar response.

Spent a week here in July, cracking weather all week. Site was specious and quiet, even though it was busy towards the end of the week.
Facilities were great. Local supermarkets to do your shop with when you get there so as you don’t have to take loads with you.
Surrounding area is fantastic, we loved Mudeford and went there several times 'crabbing'.
We have two young kids and they loved the park, crazy golf, all the pools and evening entertainment on site.
Whilst I think this site is a little expensive at peak times, it wont stop us going there as we love the site, area and the kids are happy!
Came home and booked another week for the end of August!

What can I say? Just returned from a few days staying here. Fantastic site, has everything that you need, you do not need to leave. From indoor / outdoor pool, eating area / shop / kids playing area / golf.
The site was lovely and clean, and the toilet blocks also were always clean. Lots of space for you to hang your things up and move around in the shower. Shop on site very reasonably priced with everything that you need. Entertainment really great. Nice size pitches with grass areas for you to site out on.
Reception staff very helpful, all in all the best site I have gone to.

Stayed here with 2 dogs and couldn't fault both the facilities and the staff.
When we arrived the site was fairly quiet and we had a few problems with our caravan but there was someone around within minutes to help out and get us sorted on our pitch.
All pitches were immaculate and so were toilet and shower facilities, we also used the indoor pool in the evening and again, all clean facilities.
I can imagine it gets very busy but we loved every minute of it and with a mapped out walk on site for dogs it was perfect.
Highcliffe beach is very close and well worth a visit as is the deer farm in the forest also close by.
Really good site for exploring the New Forest and the beaches nearby, would definitely recommend!

We had a weekend stay here. We had a corner pitch, very near to the toilet block and as we arrived very late on the Friday, we had decided not to put the awning up, so felt quite exposed. There are better pitches though. The facilities were very clean and warm and never too busy. The children loved the swimming pools, inside and out. The changing area was very clean, despite being busy.
We had a meal in the restaurant, the food was good and there was a good selection on offer. Cost-wise, it seemed to be at normal pub prices. We also used the shop, which was well-stocked and reasonably priced.
As everything is on site, we didn't look at the surrounding area.
The play area was good, but a long way from our pitch, so the children couldn't come and go as they wished. Also, there were quite a lot of cars whizzing round the site, so didn't feel that the children could even play that safely unless right outside the caravan.
Overall, it was a good weekend, but for us (the adults), the site was too big and we prefer a quieter, smaller site really. For a good value weekend though, it was perfect, as you could use the swimming pools as much as you like, so perfect for the children.
