Just got back from a 3 nights four days at Bashley, was a very clean site the best we have ever been to. The toilet block was immaculate never had to wait for the showers, could not get over how clean thay were. The pitch we had was a super max surrounded by hedges (we had a lot of ants), when we arrived we had asked to be moved as caravan was under a tree if we had put the awning up the branch of the tree would of been an inch away (didn't want to take any risk as was a new awning) we moved with not a problem.
There is a shop onsite, sells all that you need. Felt a very relaxing site, the entertainment was done by staff kept us entertained, the only down fall was the bar shut at 11pm which we found too early. There was a sign saying bar open until 1.30 seasonal.
Outside pools very clean sun loungers all the way around. We have booked to go again in July.

Came to this site 15yrs ago great site then and still a fantastic site. Toilet block immaculate at all times.
The only downside for us our neighbours stayed up till 2am the night they was going home making noise and left in their caravan a couple of hours later, making quite a lot of noise.
Even though we went half term w/e it never seemed busy and noisy although it was full up, and never had to wait for showers or toilets. The staff where very friendly.
The only downside for us with a dog not enough dog bins.
Fantastic site will be back next year.

Havent been here since 2005 but forgot what a fab site it is.
The pitches are big with hedges and fairly level, hardstanding for car and caravan, with pea gravel for awning.
Parking on the grass is a no no, as 2 cars had a note on the window showing them how to park correctly.
Toilet and showers were very clean, never had to queue to use them.
Rubbish bins are up some steps and if you were disabled it is a problem.
We never used the complex or pool, we had a week of pure relaxation but our 2 teenage lads ( 15 & 17 ) were either in the pool or playing football, they never mentioned the enterainment.
The wardens Andrew and Shirley are brillant, they will try to help you, no matter what the problem was. But they do like you to be off the pitch by 10 am on day of departure.
We only left the site to go food shopping, we didn't go sight seeing a very lazy week for us adults.
The staff at reception were brillant, letting hubby store some oxygen bottles in their office and telling me, no matter what time is was, I could have access to them.
Booked to go again in October and cant wait.

We came here for the first time on the Easter weekend, and was not disappointed!
Ok, for those that need the important bit, toilet facilities are fantastic, loads of hot water and never had to queue!
For the rest, the park has a mixture of statics and tourers. Tourer pitches are located in 3 different parks, all with their own field managers and facilities block. These hold bins, toilets, showers, washing up and chemical disposal points etc.
They are cleaned at least twice a day and despite it being busy we never found them dirty.
The site operates fully serviced pitches, (book early for these) caravan with annexe pitch or just caravan only. Please ensure you book the right pitch, it can be a little confusing if doing it online like we did.
The pitches are all pretty level, hard standing with gravel area for awning to the side, they are very particular about the way you park the cars, this keeps everything neat and pleasant looking too.
The site caters well for all ages, plenty of space, and lots to do. The pool is more a fun pool, so don't expect to be able to do 20 lengths as a morning warm up! The club house is vast, housing 18's only bar, family restaurant, snooker, darts, bowling, amusements the list goes on!
Being located on the edge of the New Forest, it's got great potential for exploring the local area, with great pubs and walks around the area, don’t forget the sites own nature walk though!
Local village has everything you'd need, take away shops etc, but the onsite Costcutter is also well stocked.
For those with kids and staying a while the washing facilities are great. Huge washers that only take 20 mins and even bigger driers. Two tokens from the local shop should see a full load dried and ready to go, perfect for all those grass stained clothes.
Evening entertainment was great, good variety and plenty for the kids to do. Bar is cheap, so you'll be happy knowing that a pint of coke is only a £1.
We stayed for a week at Easter with the kids, and found we never ran out of things to do, in fact I don't think we did everything, so saving that for our return.
If you want a site that has everything you need then this has it, if you’re looking for a quiet site then book a pitch on the edge, we had no issues with passing noise etc.
Security is also good to, as gates are locked to the fields after 10, access for cars is then passed main club house and security. A great site that we can’t wait to go back to.

Just returned from five nights at Hoburne Bashley, two adults & two children 10 & 5.
Lovely site, pitches are large and are divided by small little hedges which offers you a little privacy, only used the toilet on our last day but they were clean and bright.
There is nightly entertainment, swimming pool and is in an excellent position for the coast or the New Forest, Highcliffe Castle/Beach is about 10 mins in car, nice coffee shop in the grounds of the castle, steep steps down to the beach or a new zig zag path for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
The warden told us about one of the local pubs The Rising Sun up the road, (turn right out Hoburne Bashley at the roundabout turn right the pub is just on the right hand side at T junction) they were doing two meals for £10.00 they were excellent value, very relaxed pub they except dogs and children and have a lovely play area in the garden which is where we enjoyed our puddings(which came we a free cup of coffee) while our children played in the park.
When we left we said good bye to the wardens and he asked if we would coming back and our reply was most definitely!
The only downside of the park was the speed in which some drivers would drive around the site NOT doing the 5mph that was clearly stated and being the Easter Holidays there where a lot of children on bikes - I was lucky at my pitch because I had a lot of mobile homes in front of me which were not being used so traffic was limited.

An excellent site, large pitches individually screened by small trees. Some fully serviced pitches but book early to avoid disappointment. Large heated toilet blocks with hot water at all times, they are cleaned daily and always spotless. The clubhouse caters for all with an adults only bar. Great entertainment for the kids. The site boasts an indoor and outdoor pool, with sauna, solarium. There is a 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, pitch & Putt, the list goes on.The kids can be entertained all day on a safe secure site. The park is within easy reach of, Bournemouth, poole, swanage. The local village of New milton is within walking distance and offers a good range of shops.

This site has everything you could wish for. It is beautifully laid out, the facilities are really good in fact it would be very hard to beat. The staff are friendly and the site maintains a very high standard.
We have visited here during all seasons and have never been disappointed.
You are very close to the New Forest as well as Milford on Sea, Bournemouth.
There is an excellent pub in New Milton called The Housemartin, lovely food hard to beat.

Here goes a brief but, I think concise report on our trip to Bashley Park.
Myself, wife and 10 year old daughter went for a 5 day break ending on New Years Eve due to prior party commitments.
We 1st visited Bashley when said daughter was 3 weeks old and it was our 1st ever caravan outing and we were most impressed with the facilities that were on offer. Nice to see that 10 years later not a lot had changed, the site was clean and tidy as before and the sanitary blocks were all cleaned on a regular basis as was the clubhouse etc. The pitches are hard standing with a gravel area for awnings and hardstanding for car. There was enough space for our outfit with room to sit out if required (not in December) and the pitches are separated by mature hedging. We also took our dog with us as did a lot of people and it was refreshing to see people using the exercise area in the woods and picking up the mess. There was no evidence at all of dogs fouling the site. We will return at Easter as it is ideally located for the New Forest and South coast or do as much or as little as you like on site. My only small criticism was the limited and expensive menu in the clubhouse which we chose to use upon our arrival because of the late hour.
Marks out of 10 I would give 9.5 .

Love this site! It was our 4th visit and just as good as the last! Thankfully it was dry - for those who endured the great weather of August and October half term, you will know what I mean! The site is completely flat with ALL pitches hardstanding with gravelled awning areas. We have been when it's been wet and although there was a small amount of water in the awning area there was NO MUD! The pitches all have hook up, and some are full service pitches. Our 'van is 27ft long, and we still had space to park our minibus in front of it!
Great entertainment-my 5 year old LOVES Sammy Seahorse and my 10 yr old loves the arcade and bowling. The pool is great and the food is pretty good too-prices for food and drink are reasonable. There's a snooker room, arcade, playground, golf course and crazy golf so you could spend a couple of days on the site and the kids won't get bored. After hours noise is minimal-even after the new year party we didn't hear a thing and the site was nearly full.
Showers and toilets are plentiful and clean-in the shower cubicles your clothes don't get wet as well as you when you hang them up and there are plenty of taps dotted around the site for aquarolls. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the entertainment staff looked as though they enjoyed their job unlike some sites I've been to!The site shop is well stocked too.
The local town of New Milton has just about every shop you need-great chippy!-and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are only a short drive. We always take our kids crabbing at Mudeford Quay(cheap day out and no matter what their age, kids love it)- there's a cafe, pub and shop plus a fresh fish plaice(get it??!) where you can get crab lines and bait for a few quid.
The cost of the pitch is really good and if you stay for 3 nights or more you get 15% off so you stay for 7 and pay for 6. You also get a card that is stamped and when you get 10 stamps you get £20 off your next holiday with Hoburne. There are also static 'vans. They don't accept tents or trailer tents though.
Fully recommended-well done Bashley!

We (Me, hubby and 3 kids 11, 8 and 4) have just got back today from a weekend away at Hoburne Bashley. We only live in Bournemouth and just wanted somewhere nearby for a quick get away with the kids over half term.
I have to be honest, this is the best site we have ever stayed on. (ironic that its only 25 minutes down the road from us!) The pitch was perfect. The site was spotlessly clean, as were the shower and toilet blocks.
As we were only there for the weekend we decided to eat out, which we don't normally do and ended up having our meals there each night as the food was really lovely and not over priced either.
And as for the entertainment. My children (and us) thoroughly enjoyed everything. The staff were fantastic with the children. And there was a nice variety to cater for all ages.
Finally the pool was also really fab. My only fault with it was that the showers were next to the pool and in the open, which isn't so good when you have little ones to shower, as mine decided she was going in the pool by herself whilst mums hair was covered in suds!
As for the area, well as I said before we live only a short distance away and this is one of the most lovely parts of the country. The site itself is set in a nice quiet location, but still is within easy reach of towns, countryside, and Bournemouths amazing beaches.
Anyway I would recommend this site to anyone from near or far. You will be made to feel really welcome and all of you from babies to grandparents, will have a lovely holiday.
