I enjoyed a 2 week stay at this lovely site the toilets and showers were wonderfully clean and warm (still heated although we stayed in the warmest 2 weeks of the entire summer holidays). The pools were also very clean and warm. All in all the site is a lovely place to go I had 3 teenagers and my elderly mother with me and they all enjoyed and liked it as much as I. The only down side was the entertainment could have been better, the cabaret at times was far too loud and the whole thing was aimed at children and the 'Disco' was only on for 45 minutes it could have been longer but as the club shut at 11pm they had no time. Please extend your opening times so we can all enjoy the entertainment. Restaurant was very nice too. Shop was well stocked but could have done with more staff. Pitches were a good size and very private with hedges separating all pitches but beware the red ants! Will definitely go back for my annual holiday next year look forward to seeing you in 2008.

Great site, despite awful weather plenty to do, nice clean pool and great evening entertainment. Staff very helpful we even witnessed them moving one family and setting up the awning for them as well. Nice friendly wardens, they keep the site just right. Great size pitch, toilet blocks are immaculate even though they can be some distance. We are definitely going to re book. Very clean and well run site great location in the new forest. A first class quality site. Nothing was crowded even though this was the bank holiday week, really nice safe site for your children to cycle around.

Just came back from a 3 night stay, my husband & 2 boys (12 & 11) in our tourer. Its a lovely site, very friendly and helpful staff. Pitch size fantastic. Shower/toilet blocks very clean. We all loved the pool, slide, jacuzzi, steam room & sauna. Didn't use the entertainment but did walk over to see the Cowboys & Indians that had been there all week they where very friendly, would go again. A Quick Note:- if you visit this site and use a sat nav then put the road in not postcode in or you will get sent down a very narrow road (which the residents get annoyed with) and to the back gate of the site which you cannot get in.

A lovely, well-kept, tidy site with very good, clean facilities. Great hardstandings, lots of water taps & hook-ups. The two wardens - Dorothy & Richard - were very helpful and very hospitable. Great walks and not too far from New Milton. We visited Barton-on-Sea, Christchurch & Boscombe. We will definitely want to visit again.

Have given a review before but just wanted to say again how good Bashley is! The toilets are kept very clean and tidy - the new wardens in B field are lovely - something you struggle to find on some campsites! Pool is great for the kids and adults alike. Bingo enjoyable. Pitches are well kept - what more can you ask?! Only 2 downsides for us - The takeway prices are far too high and the portions of chips are tiny (£1.70!) Also the pitch prices fir very high season are a bit too much to pay for us as we don't use the club/entertainment. Low/mid season pitch prices are very fair though! Oh just one other thing we now have a doggy and although I don't mind paying, I think that £1 per night is enough to pay (they charge £2) especially as there aren't really any dog facilities apart from pooh bins etc. Bashley is a great site - we are back for a week early July!

This was our first visit to Hoburne, we were not disappointed! Beside the weather being unusually kind, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the pitch and the orderly fashion that we were expected to pitch. The site was spotless, as were the toilet & shower blocks. This site is a must for families, the facilities are excellent. I enjoyed the water slide in the indoor pool, even though I am in my 40's! The entertainment was plentiful and the resident team of entertainers were in my view excellent. Their Bond show was both entertaining and worthwhile - their newest edition to the team is a fantastic dancer. We have a dog and found the woodland area to walk around, the site offer free poop-scoop bags for those who are not equipped with their own. Shame on you. We found bins both in the park and on the woodland walk. The shop on site is like a tardis! The site is both near to the New Forest and the High St of New Milton for those who like to shop! The only downside to this park is that they are promoting the sale of static vans and I think it would be a crying shame to lose the touring fields. If you are reading this Hoburne Bashley - please leave our touring fields intact - us tourers love it there!

We have just returned from a 3 night break at this park. We were pleased with the pitch, nice and spacious and sheltered. Toilets were clean and showers worked well. The only downfall for us was the lack of entertainment. We were expecting a little more than a disco for 10yr olds! But, overall the site was lovely and would definitely go back again. We were also very lucky with the weather which was an added bonus.

We have just enjoyed a 3 day stay at this site. Although I get fed up being charged high prices for my dogs to stay They also have a stupid rule that will not allow more than one dog after Easter. Why? its not like they provide any facilities for the dogs. That aside, the shop wasn't open despite there being at least 100 vans on site. All in all we enjoyed the rest of the facilities, the clubhouse is great if you like to have a drink in comfort. The food is cheap and cheerful and the whole set-up is relaxed. The shower block is clean and warm, and you can walk the dogs off-site in the nearby woods. No poo bins tho and you must pick it up.

Our second trip to Bashley in the caravan. The field we stayed on was nearly full. The other field Beech only had a few vans on it but the shower and toilet block was open and as this was nearest our pitch this is the one we used. It was always clean and very well heated, most welcome for that morning shower. The site was clean. Only problem we noticed was that the gravel path to the block had a very large puddle to negotiate but as the pitch nearby was vacant we were able to avoid getting wet feet. We did not use the pool but did use the take away which was adequate. There was plenty going on at the weekend and for the next two weeks to keep children amused during the half term. We were never bothered by noise, even though the entertainment went on until 11 pm. Our favourite commercial site.

This is by far one of the better sites we have stayed at. When we arrived we was shown to our pitch and helped to get into position, as the road between the pitches is quite narrow. We have quite a long unit, so manoeuvring was tight, but the wardens made sure we were o/k and well parked (makes a change it's normally, park there and get on with it)
The teenagers were kept under control, which was a welcomed surprise, the wardens walked around and kept an eye on everything. The shop had all that we needed, and there is a supermarket just up the road, but who wants to keep driving around and shopping. Nice little take-away, the breakfast was good, as were the meals in the evenings (saves on the cooking) Well stocked bar, which was reasonably priced, a huge dog walking area, which our mutt really enjoyed. Showers and toilets was found clean every time we visited as was the swimming pool,
The only down thing we really found was the access road, which was narrow in places and some rather large pot holes, but take it easy and you get by o/k.
The information shed is a good idea, well stocked with free leaflets and all the info you need to enjoy your holiday. If you have a problem, we found that the wardens was always ready to help, ( its worth buying them a beer, they are great guys )
Basically if this site keeps its standards, I would recommend a visit. My family will definitely be returning in the future.
