Just tried to book. Sadly next weekend is their last weekend of having touring pitches and then they are closing the touring field down.
Real shame, it was a nice location and we enjoyed the pool too.

Have been to Bashley many times over the years and have never had a bad holiday there. Absolutely gutted that the tourers will be no more after November.
Hoburne have done a great job of revamping the bar area, and the new restaurant was lovely-cracking food-as was the bar food. The touring field as always was neat and tidy, and lovely and quiet in the evenings. Outdoor pool was great and not too busy because, thankfully, Hoburne don't allow anyone not staying on the site to use the facilities, which many other sites allow.
The wardens as always were great.
Just hope Hoburne haven't shot themselves in the foot by doing away with the touring completely. One touring field has gone, and has now being filled with luxury holiday homes for sale. Prices start from £ 90, 000 up to £ 190, 000. Only two were sold.
We actually left the site with a really heavy heart!

This was our first visit to Hoburne Bashley after 2 lovely visits to Hoburne Cotswold (which was to be our choice for May bank holiday for years to come).
We were sad to hear that Hoburne Bashley would no longer be excepting tourers and choosing instead to turn it into another site for Statics only.
I'm sure this is a decision that they will, in time, discover was the wrong one.
We now have to look for another holiday site in the area as we enjoy staying in the New Forest.

Just returned from a wonderful week at Bashley.
As we knew to go directly to our pitch, completely hassle free arrival (apart from having to phone reception for gate code! My fault, should have asked when I confirmed my pitch number!)
Much the same as my previous reviews of the site. Excellent facilities though at an acceptable premium cost. Shower block seems to be not as good as they were, unfortunately.
I feel that Hoburne are edging out the Touring visitor, now only left with Aspen field.
This will be a great shame as it is an excellent base to explore the local area for the Touring community. Having so much to offer within a short drive.
If this becomes the case I feel so sorry for the EXCELLENT Touring Wardens who will bend over backwards to help.
Though very busy, we experienced no late night noise or rowdy behaviour and really enjoyed our stay. OK, some people used our pitch as a short cut to the shower block, but, then again, my fault for not putting up wind breaks at rear of our unit. I just left it to common decency?
I do hope that Hoburne keep a touring option open on this site as we will definitely return.

We stayed Friday till Monday on a fully serviced pitch. 107 I believe.
As we have been before we knew to go to our pre booked pitch before going to reception to book in. The Site Warden Lady was, once again, excellent and helped us site up.
Unfortunately, our water hose for our pitch didn't stretch to the water outlet, though it has done on every other site we have visited. Didn't worry too much as we had additional hose, but not the connector to the python, managed to get one from reception though.
Once we were settled, everything great and I cannot praise the Wardens at this site enough as they are a great asset to Bashley.
It appears that the Touring fields are ever dwindling, as they are carrying out more siting work for statics in several fields. What a shame.
Toilet and shower blocks, as before, clean and adequate though not first class.
Substantial refurbishment had been carried out over winter to the main entertainment complex. It has been done to a first class standard. Staff were very good and attentive and the food that we had there was of an acceptable standard. That said, rather on the pricey side. I cannot comment on the entertainment as we didn't see it.
We love the area and the site in general. Some excellent pubs for food very close by. The Plough worth a visit.
Good supermarkets nearby and an excellent base to explore the area.
My only fear is that by reducing the amount of touring pitches in favour of statics, economically sound though that may be, may well be Bashley's downfall eventually.
The wonderful, refurbished facilities may well suffer at the hands of the rougher elements that we witnessed. Tourers seem to be a bit more self disciplined in my honest opinion. My view entirely and we are returning later this year, so don't be put off.
Shop very convenient and at prices you would expect,

Just come home from a 2 week stay at Hoburne Bashley, this was our 1st visit – good clean site.
Great circus whilst we were there, the whole family enjoyed it! Free for those staying on site. Got rather wet though but all part of the fun! Think this is only on during school holidays though.
Shower blocks not bad, not CC standards, but plenty of hot water, mind you they are the push button type and some were considerably longer than others. Had to laugh at the “hair dryers” – just usual push button hand dryers but placed higher up on the wall. OK to give you a basic dry but had to finish off in the caravan.
Agree with other comments on going to pitch 1st, there is definitely nowhere to park your caravan whilst you book in, husband had to park on the road, Although they say there is number plate recognition installed so you need to book in before going to pitch!
The pavement from the campsite to the entertainment block was uneven and could do with sorting out, lots of puddles when we had heavy rain.
Pitch was nice and big but again I would agree with other comments and would rather go to Beech field rather than Aspen. Wardens were really hot on not parking on the grass for some but not for others. They made us park our caravan right back so we could get our car in front of the van rather than across the front, but our neighbours were allowed to park their car across :( this meant our annex for the awning was half over the EHU/Water stand, so not ideal.
Nisa on site shop good for the basics and at prices you would expect, but handy if you need anything.
Didn’t stay for much of the entertainment, apart from the bingo, even won a few pounds, so all good. Bar prices more than we are used to paying, but what you expect. Had a few meals there too, always hot and didn’t have to wait too long. Always difficult to get a seat, people were even queuing to get in early for the children’s entertainment.
Pools good, didn’t get to use the outside pool much due to the weather, but enjoyed it when we did. Inside pool a godsend when the weather was bad, kept the family amused.
Used the laundry whilst we were there, prices as you expect (£3. 50 for a wash/80p for dryer) had to get tokens from reception.
Would return though.

We have just come back from a 15 days at bashley. Have to agree with others the site is well maintained and washing facilities with plenty of hot water. Our only grumble would be to get to the toilet blocks the access to them is very restrictive which means children & some adults walking through the pitches that are around them. I was glad we were not pitched there. However as they have crammed lots of pitches in not surprising, as you found yourself walking a long way to use these facilities. Used the Nisa on site for a few bits & bobs at the prices you would expect at the site shop. Used the swimming pool, steam room & Sauna which was of a good quality & very clean. The bar in the evenings is what you would expect at a site like this with lots of small children around. If you want a quiet drink then go early! All in all would we visit again yes we would but would want to be pitched in the smaller field

We've been to this site 3 times now, and it's always been excellent.
The pitches are large, well spaced out with hardstanding surrounded by grass and normally hedges between. Its quiet at night - not many revellers, and well away from roads so there is no background traffic noise.
The shower / toilet blocks are heated, clean and hot water all day. There is also the ability to book a private bathroom if required.
The wardens stay on site, and are great - helping people getting onto pitches on arrival and always there to assist.
If it is your first time - drive straight onto the camping field (on your left as you drive into the park) to find your pitch before going to check in at the main reception. The main reception area isn't really suitable for caravans to stop, or turn. It can be done, but it's a pain. There are no signs telling you this, so be aware.
The general Hoburne facilities are excellent, although the club is too small for the amount of visitors in peak times, and although the kids love Sammy Seahorse, getting a table is in the evenings nigh on impossible unless you arrive very early. We've not tried the food, but it's typical holiday park fare (burgers, chips, etc. )
The indoor swimming pool is great, with a sauna and steam room. The outdoor pool is nice too, although the English weather makes it a rare opportunity to use it.
There's a play park for children, a nine hole golf course, and crazy golf too.
If you want an easy family caravan holiday you can't do better than Bashley.

Outstanding site, clean regardless of season, staff excellent, pitches immaculate, kids well entertained, facilities very clean and perfectly maintained.
Kids loved the play parks, and Sammy sea horse was a definite hit. Our only disappointment was that the archery is no longer available, and the 'nature trail' was a walk alongside static caravans with signs that weren't correct to the surroundings, but hey, we saw a squirrel lol
