What a great site, we have been coming to this site at least twice a year for the past two years now and we feel it has everything we could want for a weeks break. The pitches are lovely and big with hedges between you and your neighbours. The toilet / shower facilities are kept spotless and lovely and warm . We like to play golf so the small 9 hole golf course onsite is ideal, I am only a beginner so I find it quite challenging but my husband uses it to practice his short game. We also have a young dog and the wooded area at the bottom of the park is great to let her have a run off the lead and there are plenty of doggy poo bins around the site which is great. We have not as yet used the indoor/outdoor swimming pools but they look great fun, we have however used the club facilities in the evening, played bingo and watched the shows which were very entertaining. The local town of 'New Milton' has everything you need and best of all you are right on the doorstep of the 'New Forest' and only a 20 minute drive to the sandy beaches what more could you ask for! we have already booked again for October 08 cant wait.

Just got back from a weekend at Hoburne Bashley. Had an awesome time. I would recommend this site to anyone.
We arrived on Friday at midday to find a huge pitch with full service (grey waste, water, 16A electric) and enough lawn for the dog to run around in (whilst tied to the post). The pea shingle was over earth not concrete so the awning pegs were easy to put in. Lots of signs about not driving on the grass, which meant it all looked really nice.
Did the woodland trail with the dog and the 4 kids - all had a wonderful time answering the questions, got a badge at the end of it. Visited the well stocked and not too over-priced shop, had a swim, a Sauna, a Steam and flume rides.
On Saturday our water pump had broken so the very helpful staff at reception gave detailed directions to a caravan shop in New Milton (which coincidentally had a family fun day). Back to Hoburne to play Crazy Golf, swim etc. Went to the evening entertainment with a real holiday camp atmosphere.
A sign was put up that all tourers due to leave on Sunday could stay til 6pm for no charge (as long as no-one had booked their pitch).
On Sunday played Tennis, had a swim etc.
Basically all 6 of us plus dog were entertained all weekend for £50 plus £20 in sports kit hire fees.
The site was very clean and tidy, well laid out with a design that makes it feel small and friendly whilst having loads of pitches and amenities. There was plenty of evidence of wardens so if the kids misbehaved someone would have said something.
We will be back - though not in high season.
The only word of warning is that TomTom (and google maps) direct you incorrectly if you just put in the post code. Put in the street of 'Bashley Drive' and the post code. If you find yourself turning off the B3058 Bashley Road next to a petrol station down St Johns Rd DON'T, go on to Sway Road and from there to Bashley Drive.

This was our first time at a hoburne park. What can I say, everything about it was exellent, the toilets / showers were spotless, the pitch was perfect, shop better than average, staff superb and all facilities were well above any other site we've been to.
If during school holidays parent kept an eye on the kids and did'nt let them play in the toilets/showers then these standards will easily be maintained.
Well done hoburne!

We having been coming here for years, there is very few sites better than this one.
The only downside that I have noticed over the few years is that the entertainment is not as good. Food basic but the prawn baguette is a must, and a bar for adults only so I could leave the kids and wife for a bit, and have a quiet drink! Fireworks weekend a must great weekend, but New Years do not so good.
My kids love it, nearly as much as I do!
Crab fishing in Mudeford, to walks thru the forest Bashley Park is a must, could do with a camping field.

Landed here and it felt like a parallel universe. We arrived mid RV rally and everone was dressed up like cowboys and indians. A nice chap - General Custer showed us his cutlass and then Elvis arrived!
Kids had a ball, great pool, awful slot machines and naff food. However it is a lovely area and if you want to have a fun time with kids in bad weather - this could be worth considering. Personally not my cup of tea - I prefer a quiet corner and watching people put up tents whilst supping beer, but that said this was a real eye opener and I may even be persuaded to return, maybe I am not as old and grumpy as I thought.

Great site will return in the future for sure!
2 children (4 and 9) and 2 adults had a 3 night break and didn't leave the site. Plenty to do, crazy golf, table tennis, snooker, a big football field, pitch and putt and large playground. There is also and indoor and outdoor pool.
The pitches are spacious and are hedged round so clearly marked and the site is well kept and clean. It was the school holidays and there was no queue for a shower.
The entertainment was good for the children but the room was not that big for the size of the site so you needed to be there before 6.30 to get a seat.
We had the lunchtime menu which was very limited ( burgers, jacket pots and baguettes) but it was Ok nothing special, but not too bad.

Just returned from this site, would say that the reception building is hard to find it is not marked up. Also found that the site is not very disable friendly. The pitches are a good size but some can be hard to get into. There is pently to do in the area.

We have just returned from the 'Blue Nose Rally' weekend. We have three children aged 2,5 and 7 and they have had a GREAT time! The pitch size was very generous and close to the toilet block. The toilet blocks where adequate although the loos could have done with a better clean! The entertainment was good - kids loved the magic show and the swimming pool was great. Shop OK nothing special. The only negative we have is the food - absolutely rubbish! We only had the snack menu and kids food but didnt want to try anything else - If you like Garlic Bread do not order any! - It was as hard as stale toast! Apart from that it is a lovely site especially kids park and playing fields and we will be coming back - But will be bringing our own food!

Went alone with 2 children 7 and 10 who both loved all the space facilities and freedom they had to roam around on their bikes. Great natural setting with all the facilties to hand. Pitch size quite small but adequate and toilet facilities very clean. I managed to avoid the amusement arcade but the children didn't. The site is quite busy but you can enjoy the day time facilties such as tennis and swimming and relax at your pitch during the night without having to go into the club facilities. Would go back for a weekend trip but no longer as I found it a bit to busy, however, the kids loved it.

Great place for everyone. The kids loved every minute and it was great knowing they could wander about safely. Plenty for everyone to do. The pool area was really good. It was well maintained and had the lifeguards on at all times. The play area was great and also the tennis courts and Crazy Golf and you weren't ripped off with the small charges which makes a nice change. All the staff were always pleasant and the wardens were outstanding in our opinion. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The restaurant food was a bit pricey for the portion sizes but we thought the shop was very reasonable for prices. Showers/toilets were kept spotless with the wardens nipping in regularly to check on them. We only had one problem the whole time we were there and that was because we were allocated a pitch under a giant tree that needed pruning and when the heavens opened we got totally waterlogged in the awning cos the water had nowhere to run to. We had to move to another pitch and pay an extra £12 for the privilege. We were a bit annoyed about that but decided to not let it ruin our holiday. Apart from that we can heartily recommend Hoburne Bashley and would return there again but we would book a pitch away from the trees.
