Our first visit to this site and it will not be our last. We booked early and were allocated pitch 108, this was a wonderful pitch. 12 ft from the cliff top with wonderful views and plenty of space. The sunrise was to die for. We were escorted to the pitch by a very polite, helpful and knowledgeable warden. The facilities on site were excellent, toilets very clean, shop well stocked, cafe excellent and clubhouse was dog friendly. Whitby is a 5 minute clifftop walk away after negotiating the famous 199 steps. Our experience of this site was totally fulfilling. Well done to all the staff who made our visit a most enjoyable one.

We have had three great trips to the site this year and hopefully a fourth next week. The site appears to have changed ownership since our last visit in 2013.
Motorhomes can fill up with fresh water and dump waste in a special service point at the entrance to the park.
A warm welcome awaits you in the reception and one of the cheery wardens will escort you to your pitch. If you are first timers, he will highlight the services etc to you.
The shop is very well stocked and you can order a newspaper, we didn't use the cafe this time nor the clubhouse.
Showers are cleaned regularly and nice and hot, my wife tells me their showers, toilets have been upgraded.
Three freshwater taps located throughout the site, two élsan toilet waste dumps on site. Four new motorhome hard standing pitches have been built next to the waste bin collection area.
We love the site, the area, the views, however the prices are high during the high season.
The park staff keep the site as clean as possible, however some dog owners let their dogs pooh everywhere and walk their dogs off lead. I think this is a common problem throughout Britains campsites, not just at Whitby.
Love the site, see you next week.

Fantastic site and as usual we didn't want to leave, we stay here every August for the regatta and this was our 5th stay, already booked up for 2016
You feel welcome and a wanted guest as soon as you drive onto the site, wonderful reception team, and you get taken and helped onto you pitch by a lovely man, NOTHING is any trouble
Evening entertainment is great starting with kiddie bingo, adult bingo then the evening performance they were all FANTASTIC when we were there.
Pitches are very spacious, clean and tidy with stunning views although a little windy at times but can be expected as its a cliff top site. Lovely little playpark, showers/toilets are clean and tidy although the showers are a push button and only stay on for 5sec (take something to tie round it, I used a dressing gown belt)
The disabled bathroom is better to shower in if you have small children its a larger room it was clean and tidy
Shop is well stocked for essentials and friendly.
Nice walk along the cliff edge to the town, where there is several pubs, shops, ammusemnts etc plenty to do for a day out, the beach is clean.
CANNOT WAIT FOR WHITBY REGATTA 2016 so we can go again

It was our first visit to this site and won't be our last. The facilities were top notch and the kids loved it. The location was perfect and the walks around the area were amazing. We encountered no problems whatsoever here and will be booking again for 2016.

We were given a friendly welcome when we arrived, You pay a ten pound deposit for the toilets and showers, a warden showed us our pitch, The views are stunning, but be warned the wind can be atrocious, we did not bother with an awning and very glad we didn't,
The pitches are very close together, so had to put up with not only campers walking right by our van but walkers as well doing the cliff path, so no privacy as all, The toilets and showers are clean, but its a pain when having a shower as you have to keep pressing the button as it only lasts for seconds.
There are 3 Elsan disposal points 2 are fine but the 1 on the top of the site is not as hygienic.
Did not use the bar/family room or café so cannot comment, did use the shop and that was well stocked with friendly staff.
Whitby is only minutes down the hill, and is one of the nicest fishing towns we have been to for a long while, and the Fish and Chips are smashing, but it can get very busy.
We would certainly go back to the area but sadly not this site for the only reason the size of the pitches are too cramped

Great site, on arrival staff were very friendly! A jolly member of staff showed us to our pitch and helped us get it on ok. The site is kept lovely and tidy. Has a lovely club house not overly busy just about right! Cafe sells lovely bacon sarnies. The shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. Now the views are fantastic. You have the sea and Whitby Abbey perfect! The showers and toilets were clean and the showers lovely and warm. The site can get a bit windy but you are on a cliff! The walk along the cliffs to Whitby is lovely took us about 20 mins. There's a small park for kids as well as a games room. There's something for everyone here would definitely recommend it and we will definitely go back as some point. We're actually gutted to be home today!

Just returned back from Whitby holiday park, and had a lovely time there. Weather plays a big part here as on cliff top but the views make up for that. Was advised not to put awning up as will end up in Whitby harbour ? nice cliff top walk into the town, nice camp site with shop clubhouse, café and launderette highly recommended. Toilet block was always clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and friendly at all times

We stayed here in June friendly staff, great facilities and what a view. Pitches are a good size and the site is within walking distance of Whitby and the abbey.
We weren't prepared for how windy a cliff top site could be so we had to take our awning down. However we learned a lesson have bought some awning anchors and straps since.
We'd definitely go back it!

Arrived mid-week to be greeted by pleasant staff in the office, as we were taken to our grass clifftop pitch we were told it was a nice level spot, sadly not so, we needed levelers and had to shift the hydraulics on the van to get level.
Even on the grey day it was, we had lovely views over the sea and towards the abbey (1. 1 mile clifftop walk), unfortunately the winds got up and I spent most of the night awake listening to the wind. We went to the office next day and they willingly let us move to the new hardstanding pitches away from the cliffs for the following night.
Nice and clean shower and loo block (£10 key deposit), 5 second shower run but lovely and hot, could do with a mop and bucket to clean up for next person though. Hubby used the disabled facilities accessed with his RADAR key, and said they were very good.
Great play area for the littlies, didn't use the bar or cafe (shut weds) so no comments on those.
VERY disappointed no working WIFI! It was one of the reasons we chose this site.
£21 per night with hookup. Great motorhome services as you arrive and leave, drive over the grate and dump the grey water, fill up with fresh at the same place.
Overall a very good site, but didn't like the sloping pitches, in future I'd be careful when booking to request level ground or the hardstanding ones. Very little view on those though.

Four nights spent here. Three nights on a pitch directly overlooking the sea with fantastic views especially to see the most amazing sunrises. We booked an extra night but had to move pitch which was a shame.
We wouldn't normally book a 'holiday park' site but the the location of this site is what appealed to us. Site was very well managed, and toilet blocks/showers & laundry were kept very clean. We didn't use club house/bar, shop or cafe so can't comment on those. Pitches were mostly grassed, some quite uneven so chocks needed. In places some pitches seemed a little hemmed in so pick your pitch carefully.
Nice cliff-top walks in each direction. 15/20 minute walk to the Abbey/top of the 199 steps down into the old Whitby.
Unfortunately there's no public transport from this site so if you don't want to/can't walk then you'd have to take your car into Whitby.
We'd return here again but possibly early/late season when it'd be quieter.
