Just had a lovely weekend here, we were in the tent field which doesn't have the play area in, so the owner put us in the opposite side of the field which meant we could see straight across the caravan field to our kids playing which was thoughtful of her. Very slight slope on the tent field but the pitches are so big you can decide which way to put your tent. Showers and toilets were really clean, you didn't have to do the morning walk of shame with a loo roll in hand as there were always spares, and an air freshener in each loo which I think everybody appreciated! Will be back for sure.

I never leave reviews and really I should as I rely on them when booking somewhere, but this caravan site was so great I actually registered just to be able to leave a review. This caravan site was recommended to us by a friend as we wanted somewhere near Dalby Forest. On arrival, we were given a map and informed of were we could go. The field where we pitched up is lovely. A wide open space and the grass is well kept. We had the use of electric hook-up and the water is close by. The shower block and toilet area is great. Extremely spacious and very clean. On the Friday night we were there it rained, so we drove up the road, back towards Pickering and found a great Pub called The Fox and Rabbit which was very welcoming and the food was delicious. Will definitely be staying here again!

Fantastic little site that I almost don't want to tell anyone about :). Returned here after an equally lovely visit last year. The facilities are really nice, very well looked after and my kids loved the cow themed showers. They also loved the play ground and seeing the cows get milked as well as watching tractors etc. Very friendly reception and well priced.
Easy run to Dalby forrest and Pickering as well as the Coast. Will definitely return.

Brilliant site, all pitches have hook up and the space between each pitch is amazing, there hugh. This is a working farm so as you would expect, there is very early noise off the animals, but that does not take anything away from this site, fabulous toilet/shower/wash up blocks (2 of them) are immaculate, and cleaned regular. 20/30minutes in either direction you have Whitby one way and scarbourgh the other way and 10 minutes down the road Pickering, really central for all three, donkeys/goats/cows/chickens/geese and 2pot bellied pigs, great nice could go on forever and ever, GREAT PLACE, will be going again.
£5 per adult £2 for hook up, cheap as chips too, RESULT.

Have just spent a lovely week at Marfit farm. The owners are very friendly and helpful should you need any info. About the local area. The toilet/shower facilities are great for such a small site. They are always clean and it is great been mixed as ideal for families. I never had to wait for a shower.
The area is fantastic, lots to do. Eden camp, Nunnington hall Ryedale folk museum, Thornton Dale, Castle Howard, Flamingoland, Pickering and Malton to name just a few!
There is a coop, cost cutter and a lidl(in the middle) of Pickering.
In Malton if your passing from a day out there is an excellent Morrisons.
The black bull on the Pickering to malton road does a fantastic carvery on a Sunday which is 2 for £12 and meals in the week 2 for £10.
Overall a fantastic site for the money- the ground slopes a bit and there is the odd smell of the lovely cows, but hey it's the countryside!

Without a doubt, the best value site we stayed in during our protracted family roadtrip! We arrived quite late in rather poor weather (it brightened up considerably and we had a glorious walk in the Hole of Horcum the following day)but I had contacted the owner who came out to meet us and gave us a choice of pitches. The shower facilities were great fun and the children very much appreciated the 'cow' theme. As the weather and visibility improved, we appreciated the beauty of the surroundings even more. This was not spoiled by a little road noise. We would whole-heartedly recommend this site! If only there were many more like it!

After 6yrs of caravanning with the family this is, without any doubt, the best site on which we have ever stayed. The hosts are very welcoming, friendly and helpful and keep the site in an immaculate condition. Even in high season and fully booked, the washrooms were always scrupulously clean and perfectly stocked. The grounds are kept equally well. The pitches are HUGE and very well spaced, with plenty of open/communal space and access no problem for the biggest outfit. The location is beautiful, scenery remarkable. There is a new Lidl in Pickering and a good sized Morrsions in Malton, as well as plenty to do in the area. Oh and the price per night? A positive bargain, especially compared to cramped and overpriced Caravan Club sites. The site is great for children with a nice playground and loads of space. Naturally we have another booking this summer and can't wait to go back

Lovely campsite and friendly owner, shower and toilet block clean and we didn't have to wait for showers, a bit of a walk to the toilets if you're in the top field. My son spent ages chatting to the animals, nice play area, good size pitches. We only stopped for 3 nights but are already planning to go back for a longer holiday.

After driving through the Yorkshire Moors this was the first CL we came across.
We were offered the last pitch on the CL which was hardstanding. The site is really big with three very separate areas for pitching. The CL is nearest the farmhouse and there is oodles of room between the pitches. We had ehu and the fresh water tap was a short walk away.
The toilets / showers were amazing for a CL they were way above and beyond what we would expect, they wouldn't be out of place in a hotel. The farm itself is lovely with donkeys, chickens, goats, pigs and ducks all by the CL. Plenty of places to visit nearby with both Pickering and Thorton Le Dale well worth a visit. The classic car museum in Thorton Le Dale is a must - for £2 its incredible to see so many cars and memorabilia in a reasonably small area - plus a good few classic cars for sale.
If there was any negative on the site it would be the road noise, not too bad but it was there. Overall for £11 a night this site is one of the best value for money in terms of facilities they offer we have yet to come across.

Just returned from a weekend stay, a lovely site on a working farm, well maintained, clean and tidy facilities.
There are cows, pigs, chickens and donkeys to look at.
Would definitely return. It's located about 8 miles from Pickering where you can catch the steam train to Goathland and Whitby.
It is also well priced.
