Lovely little site and we will be definitely returning in the future.
Toilets (2 blocks ext to each other) spotless, plenty of hot water but really one of the nicest toilet blocks we have ever been to. The kids loved the cow design toilet seats and shower curtains!
As this is a working farm there is plenty to see from pigs, cows, hens (strolling past my caravan) donkeys etc
Kids play park is great and kept them well entertained, this is on the members field but I its really not far from each of the other fields
We stayed on the members field (5 large pitches) there is additional top field and back field with also hold 20 pitches each field.
The member pitches was slightly sloping but easy managed to get level, the other fields seemed pretty flat also.
Good location to:
Dalby forest (5 min drive)
Hole of Horcum (2 min drive)
Whitby (20 min drive)
£11 per night for electric hookup
Think we have found a high top 10 contender!
Thanks

We stayed at this site for a weekend with our 2 and 4 year old girls and can't fault it. (Apart from slight road noise).
The kids loved the animals (especially the donkeys) and the playground. The pitches were large and there was lots of space around the site. (Would recommend levelling ramps for some pitches). It is a great place for families. We had planned to go to Dalby Forst around the corner but changed our minds and headed into Whitby which was about a 15-20 minute scenic drive. The owners were very friendly (despite us arriving late) and gave some good advice regarding the area. Our kids did not want to go home and said they wanted to stay forever! Very good value for money.

This site is only 30 mins from our home, but great for our family if we just want a quick break. Fantastic location if visiting the yorkshire coast, moors etc. Pickering less than a 10 mins drive. Great to see a working farm.
Unisex facilities block, always seems to be clean so the fairies do a fantastic job! Full of information on the local area too.
Pitches very spacious with ample space for kids to run around or play in the play area without disturbing others. Plenty of space for exercising dogs. Most of the pitches seem to slope in one direction or another but never had a problem levelling up.
Owners very friendly and always happy to help. Great farm eggs too!

What a very relaxing weekend was had as a new 'caravan club member' 1st time I had visited a CL site ( although been caravanning for 30 years) and what a lovely site it was. Only £11 per night inc electric.
We stayed on the 5 pitch CL site (large field behind us was for regular non caravan club members and Tents).
Easily accessible, field slightly sloping with grass pitch (hard standing pitches available on 5 pitch CL field) when ground is too soft) but easy to level caravan with chocks! grass kept short and very tidy easy access to water points/ toilet disposal and lovely clean unisex shower and toilet block.
Ideal location for North Yorkshire Moors, Whitby etc. Fox and Rabbit pub just up the road do fantastic meals. Highly recommend
Working Dairy Farm didn't see much of owners but they kept it very presentable. Play area for children and Dog walking area too!
Will be visiting again.

We came to this site based on the fantastic reviews from all the other guests. We were not disappointed and we were lucky to get a pitch at very short notice due to a cancellation.
The pitches were all level, well spaced and very well maintained. The facilities - showers, toilets and washing up sinks - were immaculate at all times. Also, even though it was peak season and the site was full, it was always easy to get free hot showers and to wash the pots.
Some of the family were very lucky to see the cows being milked. It was fascinating to see the high tech machinery and experience the skills needed to run a dairy farm.
The owners were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Trevor, the owner, even lent us an electric hook up extension because ours was too short. He was happy to help, despite having a busy farm to run.
Even though this was a working farm and close to a busy road, there was a friendly and relaxed atmosphere on the site.
We got the impression many of the other guests had been before and were regulars. We would highly recommend this site and would definitely stay there in the future.
This site is friendly, fantastic value for money and a great location to visit surrounding towns and villages in North Yorkshire. Book early to avoid disappointment!

Just returned from a 4 day break in our tent (with EHU) at Marfit Head Farm, and I have to say that we had a lovely time. The site is very well maintained and the ground has excellent drainage as we had quite a bit of rain but the field never became muddy. The shower/toilet block is nice and clean with ample facilities - we didn't have to queue. There is a small dog walk on the farm and also some playground equipment - swings/slide etc which our 6 year old loved! With it being a working dairy farm the cows are ever present (hold your nose when walking past the cow shed!)- our kids (6 & 13) were fascinated when the cows all lined up to walk down for milking - very well trained! The farm is well located between Pickering and Whitby and also not too far away from Flamingo Land where we had a great day out. We would definitely return and camp here again - we had a lovely holiday.

Excellent campsite. Toilets and shower blocks spotless. The pitches were massive, loads of room infront of the tent for the kids to play safely. Has a small play area available but we never went to it. Off the main road so easily accessible to whitby and dalby forest is only a short drive away
Would recommend this campsite. It is very quiet and spacious, but after a busy day out that's just what you want to come back to. Will be back again next year

This site was lovely to stay on. The fields and surrounds were very well maintained as well as being very spacious (we had an 8mx8m tent!). The owners were lovely and the toilet blocks were excellent.
You have numerous clean toilets as well as showers and vanity rooms and a freezer to re-freeze ice blocks.
There is a park for children and the site itself is situated where easily accessible to drive across to Whitby or York. We were a 15min car journey away from Flamingo Land which was ideal.
The only thing I would recommend is some lighting down the main path to aid in going to the toilet blocks through the night.
All in all, a fantastic stay and I hope we return sooner rather than later!

What a gem. Just returned from marfit head farm. Pitches huge. Toilets lovely, spotless. There were quite a few children, but they played in middle of field, no bother at all. A previous review said about noise from road, not as bad as my husband snoring. Very good price. Don't hesitate about going there. Couldn't ask for a better site. We've been caravanning for over thirty years and I can honestly say one of the nicest farms we have stayed at. Will be going back in future

Just come back from a brilliant weekend away at Marfit Head Farm. The owner was really helpful and nothing seemed to be much trouble. My kids loved all the animals there and even got to watch the cows been milked and stroked the baby calves. Great little climbing frame/swings etc. Toilets immaculately clean! Great sized pitches with plenty of room. Hard to find any negatives really. The pub down the road (Fox and Rabbit) definitely worth a visit with all meat etc purchased locally the food was great and not badly priced for the quality. Would definitely return.
