2 Adults, 2 Kids (aged 8 and 16) 1 dog on Premier pitch (Electric/Water/Waste/Ariel) £208 for 7 nights.
On arrival we found this site to be very pleasant, we were greeted warmly by 'Sonny' the parrot! Checked in with ease, staff were friendly.
As we were on a premier pitch we were a fair way from the reception area, toilets, chemical disposal and pool, not that we minded as we were nice and close to the dog walk.
If you decide to book a premier pitch you may need 7 meters of hose pipe, 7 meters waste pipe as the hook ups are to the rear of the pitch. TV picture wasn't brilliant, but the WI-FI connection was excellent, £20 for the week.
We noticed that most pitches had their own water supply. Pitches were set out with lots of space for car and awning, all pitches are separated with hedging for privacy.
Most pitches are uneven but only slightly, You will need wheel blocks! Ground on our pitch got a little flooded when it rained as it was sloping.
Toilet/Shower blocks were clean and tidy, showers were the kind you have to keep pressing the button to keep the water flowing, they also had separate drying area.
Shop was very well stocked with all you could possibly need.
Didn’t use the pub but they had a few things going on over the bank holiday.
Ouside swimming pool was heated, my kids loved it as we stayed after the bank holiday rush they got the pool all to themselves!
I would highly recommend this site for families as there is lots to do for the children, BMX park is a MUST but do take the safety equipment or you can't use it!
Great base for Cheddar/Weston/Brean so lots to do!
I would definitely go back to this park again.

We arrived on a last minute booking on the friday daytime.
The lady who served me was very nice and helpful and informed us we had picked a BMX semi finals weekend,
Park looked great, lots for kids to do. BMX track football / basketball court table tennis outdoor pool and a small amusment area 5 video games a tv area next door.
Couldnt use the BMX track as they were practicing for the races on sunday (wasnt told this was the case over the phone when we booked), but my son still had a great time using the skate park and football / basketball court.
You should take bikes for this trip we only had my sons and the walk into cheddar was very far(says a mile but much further)not many footpaths have to dodge traffic and blind bends to reach it, I wouldnt have felt comfortable taking my bike on them roads not safe for youngesters(in my view)
Lots and lots of toilets and showers and they were kept clean never had to queue (even though the park was quite full up) large showers with a seperate drying area so stuff didnt get wet.
I will say you will most probley need blocks for your vans as most pitches are on some sort of a slope.
We had a big pitch but some of the pitches near us were on the small side. Hedges surrounding your pitch so felt more private. Would go again

Excellent site.
Visited for 5 nights over the bank holiday weekend & although we had a slightly difficult sloping which seemed back to front pitch it didn't spoil our time there. Facilities were excellent & clean. We even had sun & got to use the pool 3 days running!
Good Points: the pool, bar, BMX track (safety gear essential & well maintained bike), showers/loos, site layout, childrens facilities.
Bad Points: Extra activities were charged (to be expected though), not booking a longer stay!
We will definitely be visiting again though will go for a larger paddock pitch next time. Had we not have had to go to the cash point we probably wouldn't have needed to leave the site all week!
All in all a highly recommended site for families with active children.

Broadway House is a huge facility, which I expect gets booked up very quickly in the summer months.
I went there in term time and so it was relatively quiet. We camped for 3 nights in decent sized pitch. We had hedges either side and behind which was a nice touch for privacy.
Our pitch was close to the toilets and showers, which were always clean.
Good points: Clean facilities, pool looked nice but never used it, tourist information well stocked, only 1m away from Cheddar (gorge, caves, shops)and the reservoir in the other direction. There was a pleasant atmosphere around the campsite.
Not so good points: As they were quiet, we got shoved into a pitch with electricity and had to pay extra. Bar was fairly busy as the was England football and rugby on. Its seen better days and would be heaving during peak times. My biggest moan would be prices. It has some great facilities like crazy golf, table tennis, football courts and you have to pay for everything. We were under the impression its inclusive. Theres deposits for this, costs for that. We felt we had paid enough for this to be borderlining taking us for a ride.
In conclusion we would go back again if we were in the area but take your own golf clubs and tennis stuff! Had no problems with grumpy staff. Barmaid seemed like a nice girl.

Just got back after staying for 3 nights here in our Mazda Bongo. The site is brilliant for kids but if you are a couple looking for some relaxation then be wary. (be aware of small kids on bikes) My Son thought the BMX track was "brill" and the play areas where all excellent. Some of the pitches were small if we had took our tent which is a Montana 6 we would have struggled to get on it, but there are larger pitches available. Never had to queue for a shower and both these and the toilets were always clean. Didn't use the pool so unable to comment on it. P eople who have reviewed this park have stated that staff were a bit miserable and I agree with them. If it wasn't for us visiting, then they wouldn't have an income. Doesnt take much to have a smile and be pleasant. We will go back in the future as it has lots of activities for children and a good location for visiting the local attractions. Hope the review has been helpful.

Stayed two nights on a standard pitch which was in the top field so furthest away from facilities which was OK because it was quiet. Horrible gravel paths which were a tripping hazard for small children. My daughter loved the animals and my son loved the football, crazy golf and swimming pool. We didn't take bikes but they are a absolute must (if only to get to the loo !) Pitches fine - flat and plenty of space with loads of water taps, shower blocks OK, shop well stocked, club bearable for an hour. The biggest moan is about the staff - I have never met such rude and arrogant staff at any other site and lots of "grumpy" notices around the site with do's and don't ! Saying that will go back (with bikes !) because of the location and the facilities, let's hope staff have learnt some better manners by then !

We stayed for 1 week at the start of Aug 2007. Fantastic weather as are the views. Are fantastic We booked a premier pitch that was edged with hedges and was the size was great, we had caravan, awning and 10ft spare with car in front. Our pitch was hard standing and no evidence of any recent flooding on this pitch but some of the smaller grassy pitches were boggy and dug up. The kids participated in the Archery and loved it, other facilities: Wall climbing ( not very good) we cancelled, Canoing was full so I would recommend booking in advance, Hubby did rifle shooting and enjoyed. BMX track, crazy golf, skateboard area. The pool and area great, busy as the weather was so nice. Visited- Cheddar gorge, Wookey hole and W-S-M. Staff were great we were pitched quite near some of those living on site and they were helpful and gave us some local info. Watch for the early morning hot air balloon's from the adjacent field. Not to stuck on the bar, evening entertainment was bingo, kids disco and adult disco. Food area okay but busy later on and we gave up waiting . A bit noisy at night if pitched at the top as the kids hang out on the park. Would visit again and you need a week to fit everything in.

We went to this campsite with family of 10 all together we had asked for two pitches next door to each other with electric hook-up (they said they could not promise but would try there best). We arrived there on the Saturday afternoon and had two pitches together as we had asked they were very helpful.
There is a massive park for the children although that is not the best for the little ones there is a seperate park for the little ones with lots to do. The swimming pool is great we have a 4 yr old and a 5 yr old and the little pool was perfect for them and they had a lot of fun.
The entertainment was great a lot for the children to do INC Children's Disco even down to Children's BINGO! the Guy who looks after the children is GREAT and keeps them entertained while adults can have a drink at the bar. The tolet's were cleaned reguarly and the place was very clean To anyone looking at going to this park for a holiday I would advise going here!

I visited Broadway House from the 6th - 11th of August 2007. The location was lovely, Cheddar. The Check in Service was quick and easy, we felt welcomed. We were given a map of the park and where we were staying - pitch 808. We got to the Pitch and it was lovely the Pitches were all marked out by flower and shrub boarders. The view was amazing and we were glad we stayed there. At the park there was Nature Walks, BMX Tracks, Adventure Playgrounds and a great Swimming Pool. However, we did not go on the BMX track because they only have Limited amount of Bikes for hire. Also the roads and paths are rocky and there were lots of kids sliding and riding about, this got annoying after the first day. Every time cars and bikes came past. Dust was flying up from the ground. It was very noisy and there was a point of the holiday when we talked about leaving a few days earlier because of this and lots of people were quite loud. I did not enjoy this place as much as other places I have been, also are tent got bird pooed on a few times because were under some trees.

Spent one night here before visiting Wookey Hole. Field next to road where we stopped was level, mown, relatively quiet, clean and large. Each tent pitch was seperated by planks and there was plenty of room for our 8 man tent. Water was handy, the nearest loos were in the bar area across the field. The bar itself was busy, but lots of stuff for the kids (play area, disco, games with dj, pool, shop, arcade games, tv) and a talking parrot! The outdoor swimming pool was excellent, lovely and clean and warm, good facilities, and included in site price, which was £26 for night. We wandered round the park next morning and met chickens, ducks etc. There was a massive play park, bmx track and activities which we didnt see such as archery etc. The staff were busy but helpful, and I would recommend this site again - good for more than one night as so much to see and do!
