Nice clean site near to all amenities/attractions,
Well laid out with a mix of various types of campers from glampers to statics to tourers.
Ironically taps in toilets and wash up facilities have stickers warning of "very hot water" and never got more than luke warm from any of them and in showers, where there's no warning, water IS very hot, but can be turned down to required temp.

Very clean site and immaculate toilets. Great location to walk into Balloch or Lomond Shores.
The site is expensive at £68 for 2 nights fully serviced. There are better sites with better facilities which don’t charge as much. One of my bug bears is additional charges for an awning, £3 per night. We only used our porch awning as a shelter to get wet jackets off and dry the dog before going into the van. This should be included in the pitch price.
Not enough dog waste bins around the site and very poorly lit in places, so a torch is required.
Road noise is constant, so for this reason and the price I probably wouldn’t stay again.

A chilly but atmospheric visit to Lomond Woods over the weekend, super easy to find with contactless check was easy, just drive up to the gates and number plate recognition get you in. No pre allocated pitch, just choose your pitch type you booked. Site was full and only fully serviced pitches were left costing £68 for 2 nights.
Good size pitch of gravel with shrubbery between, it did state 10/16 amp for the pitch so unsure what we actually got. TV connection also on pitch for fully serviced. We chose pitch 11, only 10 and 11 left, slight slope towards the front and off camber slightly.
As we didn’t bring a Tv cable we had to rely on our own vans aerial which obviously didn’t pick up any signal, but heyho the scenery made up for that.
Shower block was immaculate with copious amounts of hot water, though push button showers gave you about 30s of water, but certainly not an issue.
Site is located on the outskirts of Balloch just off the A82 some road noise is definitely heard but again not an issue.
Loch Lomond and Lomond shores shopping centre/sea life centre just a 10 minute walk away.
Site was full but most of these appeared to be seasonal pitches with Statics, lodges, cabins and pods making up the majority of the site.
Overall a great site for a quick stop over, a tad expensive but will be back to spend longer trying out some water sports on the loch in the summer
With everything being contactless we didn’t interact with the staff but they were always round.
Good children’s play area available which was spotless and close to all the activities Loch Lomond offers

Very clean site surrounded by trees and well maintained grounds. Modern and clean toilet block including several family rooms.
Camperclean machine to empty, clean and refill with sanitiser for £2.
Nice playpark for children. Very short walk to town of Balloch for shops, restaurants, bars, leisure activities etc.
Bit of road noise can be heard from the site but it really didn't bother us.

Although this is a very nice site, 5 star (as advertised) it is not! I recognise that we were there at the beginning of the Glasgow fair, but the toilets were never clean when I visited.
A 10 second push button shower was annoying, and when I went to clean afterwards there was only an empty mop bucket. Also, 3 sinks for the wash up area, but only 1 plug.
We have been to this site previously, at a quieter time, and would probably go back, it just needs a bit more attention to the details that make a place 5 star.

The site was good but not enough information on where touring pitch facilities were, for example it took us a couple of days to find out where the waste water went, not realising that it was the other side of the water taps which is unusual. also no signs to indicate this, also the New Map given did not show where the dog walk was and the waste points.
The site itself is nice and quiet but no indication when the toilets would be closed which was awkward as there was only one block.

Second visit to this site which is reasonable but nothing "out of this world". !0 - 15 mins walk into village with shopping, eating, bars and Loch Lomond touristy things. Reception was not open and entry was via ANPR to open barriers, no wardens in sight.
Toilets / showers were open but closed at peak period for cleaning (9. 00am), thought that was ludicrous and a way of saying not to use the facilities.
Received a text on the day of leaving saying hope you enjoyed your stay but remember to leave by 11. 00am. Really gave the impression that you weren't really wanted.

Pretty site with good spacious pitches. Ideal location. 10mins from Balloch town and Loch Lomond.
Quite expensive especially as the toilets and showers are closed.

First time at this site for a number of years, still a great, well laid out park that is very tidy. Facilities were closed due to the covid outbreak, unsure why they are still shut as most other sites have reopened theirs.
Handy for Balloch and all the attractions around Loch Lomond albeit a tad pricey. £33 per night with no facilities is a bit of a joke to be honest. Woke up this morning to the putrid smell of Weed coming from one of the large lodges which seemed to be hired by some young adults.
Didn't spoil my break but just more of an annoyance which the park couldn't know about. I would go back but will leave it a few years again.
Friendly bunch of caravanners and well behaved kids which is a change from some sites.
Great 4G coverage on BT Mobile and adequate TV coverage.
