 Great campsite & brilliant find, I would highly recommend!
I had my campervan with a small dog and a friend had booked one of the Shepherds huts and they were pleased too.
Facilities good and were very clean and showers hot whenever used. There were nice personal touches too.
I will be returning in the warmer nicer weather.

This site is very well organised. We stayed in our camper, but where tempted by the Yurts in the woods, or even the wild camping at the bottom of the hill.
The owners are present but not in your face.
There is an easy 7. 5 mile (ish) round walk into Barmouth and back.
Which is great.
Well worth a visit.

Great place been here a couple of times and never disappoints.
The pitch had a lovely view and if your into walking you can drop straight on to the trail that goes to Barmouth or into the local town.

We chose this site for views of the Mawddach estuary and we chose one of the most expensive pitches for the view. However the pitch was small and awkward to get in even for us in our small van.
The pitch was set back as there was grass with picnic tables between us and the estuary. We felt that these pitches with views were not accurately described on the website.
The trail is great for cycling and walking but accessibility with bikes is not good as you have to go down a steep hill through the tent area to get on the trail, the return being quite arduous getting back up. Again, not accurately reflected on the website.
We drove up to the lakes on Cadr Idris but it was wet so we didn't get to walk there.
We walked over the bridge to Barmouth but there are far better places to visit than that seaside town. However, the bridge is worth going over for the views.
It was an expensive campsite with limited facilities. Two toilets for each sex and two showers on the touring section and the campers down the hill had a toilet and shower for them. If busy there would most certainly be a logjam.
Also only one washing up area, you had to wait your turn! If you had somewhere to be that was not good, from all the facilities points of view. Beautiful area.

A great site site with a lovely view of the estuary.
Facilities were clean. Only 2 showers on top touring part but there wasn't any queues with the times we used them.
A nice walk/hike along the side of estuary at bottom of site, either leads to pub at one end, or Barmouth bridge the other end.
They stock gas and logs, but take along your own food supplies, which didn't bother us as we were out exploring every day and got them on our travels.
Friendly staff and took back great memories.
On way back from estuary be prepared to walk up steep short hill back to touring site at top.

Graig Wen is a lovely site with a friendly feel
The views are amazing from all pitches. Walks down to the estuary and on site with lots to see.

We enjoyed so much our stay there is plenty of space, gorgeous views, amazing atmosphere
Great for kids bike riding, watersport, there is superb playground and dog walking
This campsite has it all
Perfect location
Definitely going to come back, strongly recommend, it's worth it 😃

Stayed for a few nights over New Year.
Excellent site, low key, with good facilities, great location and friendly hosts.
Lots to do in the area even off season. Great place for walking and cycling, with nearby cycle trail into Barmouth / Dolgellau.

A haven of tranquillity after a non stop Christmas.
Graig went is a family favourite, stunning views, fabulous walks and mountain biking in the area. The night sky was breathtaking.
We are always met with a friendly welcome. The showers are clean and hot and the honesty shop as ever well received, a wonderful site.
Seeing new year in around the fire pit with friends old and new. Can't beat it!

Great campsite in a peaceful setting with good facilities.
Walks straight from the door and a thoughtful touch with an honesty shop and local produce available to purchase.
