The campsite was very nice, relax and clean. The reception was very friendly. The toilet and shower is very clean and the shower was hot water and powerful.
It has playground with full of sands. My two younger kids love it. Feel safety to let my two children walk around. Only walk 20 mins to beach. Beach was beautiful and long walk.
15 mins walk to the pub near front of beach. We will go there again soon.

Went with another family. We tried 2 other smaller campsites first in West Wittering but they were full.
We were extremely pleased with Scotts Farm Campsite. Location great and within walking distance of local shops and pubs. Campsite very clean, great play area. Although there were lots of tents, motorhomes and caravans, the site was very quiet and peaceful, particularly after 10pm.
Only criticism is and it is very minor, there is no handwash in the toilet block so you need to take your own. Overall, an excellent weekend break and cannot wait to return!

This is a campsite that I have regularly used for several years. It has a fantastic location -minutes from both the shops and the beach. I have always relished the fact that you can just literally turn up, no booking required and pitch where you like.
The kids love the park and freedom that this site has to offer. This site has always had a friendly and 'laid back' feel. However, this was not the case at all on this occasion. Please be warned -'campsite owners have the right to evict anyone on the campsite without explanation and at their discretion' and 'family and couples only, absolutely no groups including large family groups'.
This is very strictly enforced to the point where if you are two single women arriving together without children you will be closely questioned in reception and then followed to your pitch to ensure that you are not joining a group. This happened to my friends who were coming to join our two small families. There were warned that they would be evicted if anyone else turned up to join us. Two other childless friends did and the eviction of all of them was immediately enforced, much to our shock and complete disbelief.
This was an extremely hot weekend at the end of half term and the fields were half empty, this I have never ever seen on a hot weekend at this campsite. A previous review mentioned 'souless' and I absolutely could not agree more. For myself and my small group, the soul was completely sucked out of this camping experience for absolutely no reason.

Booking in was efficient and painless. We found an electric pitch and set up, including my grandson's pup tent. A young man came and checked our ticket while we were pitching.
The toilets and shower area were kept clean while we were there. The dog field was big enough to provide a reasonable walk and leads onto public footpaths as well. However, there is no disposal point for the 'doggie bags' on the field and some people had started dumping them by the gate. This could be easily remedied.
The location, close to East Wittering shops and restaurants and within a 10 minute walk of the beach was very good.
BUT as I said, our ticket was checked when were setting up and the pop-up tent in front of the main tent was in full view. At about 9 pm on the Saturday evening the same young man came and told us we were breaking the site rules and that we had to pay for a second tent.
The manager at the site was not at all helpful or even sympathetic. In fact, he was quite confrontational.
This situation spoiled the weekend for us. We had made up our mind that Scotts Farm would be our preferred site for weekends. We will now have to consider whether we want to go back.

On arrival we were booked in efficiently and advised where to pitch. The site is level and has lovely views. The site has electrical hook ups and good water points, but strangely no motorhome greywater disposal point
It has a strict no group policy, however we were a little bit surprised that out of approx 150 units on site only 7 of us were staying for the weekend every one else had a long stay tickets in their window ie up to Oct, this did not make for a very holiday atmosphere, also this is the only campsite that we have stayed at that allows vans on site with contractors names on ie builders, plumbers etc and it therefore did not feel that safe for our daughter to cycle around as one van seemed to be constantly coming and going.
The children's play area is good as is the dog walking field, however some people just left the dog poo bags lying around, but it would have been better to have had a dog litter bin on site.
Another thing that lets the site down is the fact that there is no soap in the toilets and not what I expect when I have paid £25 per night!.
The location for this site is excellent as East Wittering is 10 mins walk away with Tesco and Co Op and cafes and of course the beach. This could be a lovely site but we unfortunately will not be returning to it and could not really recommend it,in its present state

We wanted to find a few sites within an hour of home that we could use for weekends away as a family, and Scotts Farm was our first new one (we normally use Warner Farm in Selsey but the restrictive latest arrival time of 7pm is tricky for us).
We were a bit concerned that we were not able to book in advance, as the forecast for the weekend was fantastic, but turned up anyway at about 8pm. The gentleman behind the desk was extremely helpful and polite and explained how to pitch, and that we could chose wherever we wanted, and more importantly, confirmed that they had space for us!
The site is very close to the village (about 10 minutes walk, or about a minute in the car!), and has a Tesco Express and a Co-op in the centre, as well as numerous Fish and Chip shops and small café / restaurants. The beach was a huge hit with the kids, as when the tide is out, there is a huge expanse of sand to play on, and the sea is extremely shallow.
Good Points: The site is very flat, unlike some we have visited! The washing up area is indoors, which is lovely when the weather is not so good, and the sinks are lovely and big with lots of hot water! The local area is very pretty, and the beach is very family friendly, without being over commercialised.
The toilet block was big and generally quite clean, but there are no soap dispensers for washing hands – rather odd! The children’s play area is lovely, with sand underfoot which made it feel very safe for the little ones – just watch out for the lump of concrete at the bottom of the fireman’s pole!
You are allowed to stay on the pitch until 5pm on the day of departure, which gives you a whole extra day – much better than the strict 10am departure of some sites!
Not so good points: The site feels a bit soulless, but I imagine it would be better in high season when there are more tents and not just row upon row of caravans.
The signage on the way in is non-existent, and you only know you have gone the right way when you arrive! We also thought £50.00 for two nights for a bit of grass and a bit of electric was a bit expensive, seeing as there are limited facilities on site.
Overall, a good site and we would go again, but mainly for the beach.

What a lovely site! Very friendly welcome and easy checking in. The showers, toilets and washing up facilities were excellent - very modern and spotlessly clean at all times.
Our friends' son loved the adventure play area which is large, enclosed and with deep sand on the ground.
We had no problems with anyone being too noisy despite it being very busy.
The beach was a 5-10 minute walk and is awesome when the tide's out. We spent a whole day on the beach splashing about and wandering along to the sand dunes at West Wittering, where there is a small cafe.
The campsite is right on the border of East Wittering and is ideally located for take aways, restaurants, a nice pub and lots of shops. You can even order pizza to be delivered to the camp site!
The only negatives I can think of is the campsite shop really doesn't have much in it (but there again you are near shops anyway) and the basins in the toilets had no soap which isn't very hygienic.
We'll definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

We stayed for 2 nights in late August - a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 9. We could not get into Nunningtons or Wicks and wanted electric hook-up. The site is very large, open fields, no chance of small hedged off areas!
One of the fields was closing so those left open were crowded - to say the least. The 10 foot gap requested is small anyway but difficult to achieve. Just after choosing our pitch a noisy group with three tents chose to pitch very close.
Loud music blared out from various areas until 11.00 - no consideration for others. The overall noise did not quieten down until after midnight.
The shower blocks were clean and we didn't ever wait for more than a few minutes for a shower. Extra hooks in the cubicles would have been useful.
The playground looked great but generally too crowded.
Very convenient for shops in East Wittering and for the beach at West Wittering. Try the Ship at Itchenor for a meal.
Overall if you're a noisy group then this site would be fine as the access to the beach is great. However as a small family I would recommend a smaller, quieter site.

I have been coming to this site every year for the last 20 years. Even though we go in high season from experience its best to arrive on a Monday as all the weekenders have departed. The site has inproved year in and year out. As we have a dog the site is perfect. I have never had any problems with this site, yes it get noisy but in general I expect that as everyone is on holiday to enjoy. I give this site 10 out of 10, great for the family with the beach mins away with great shops.

The main gripe is the cynical way the site seems to be run. The staff were not as attentive as at other sites, the walkways and grass were not as well kept as I expect and, where they seem very strict on allowing large parties, they seem incredibly lax on noise late at night.
Also, the kids play area was filled with sharp builder's sand, not soft sand and hurt and stained my daughters' feet. Not that they wanted to play in there for long as, for such a large site, the facilities were rather small and constantly packed.
On a positive note, the shower block was recently built, well fitted and very clean.
