Just got back from a fantastic trip to Scotts Farm with my family. I could not believe how clean the facilities were and the surrounding site!
I travelled with my husband and my two children (7 and 9 year olds). Scotts Farm is perfectly situated to the village (Tesco and Co-Op) and the beach all within 10 minutes walk.
My husband and I had a really relaxing time as the sandy play area meant the kids weren't bored and we pitched our tent so we could monitor them from time to time.
Overall, we will definitely be returning to Scotts Farm without hesitation.

Have just returned from our 5th visit to Scotts Farm. We love it! Very friendly site. Toilets/showers very clean; we went to the toilet at 3. 40am and they were being cleaned. Lots of children on the site, but everywhere very quiet by midnight.
Playground is great for younger children, but parents do need to supervise them. Campsite shop has improved and staff are very friendly and helpful. East Wittering is only a 10 minute walk away, and has Tesco, Co-op, fish and chips and pubs.
East Wittering beach is 15 minute walk away. If visiting for the first time, remember to follow signs to East Wittering, not West Wittering. Traffic jams to West Wittering are awful, and could add an hour to your journey

Great location, well equipped, well run site. Walking distance to the beach, a lovely thatched pub or into East Wittering.
This will be a busy site in the summer though, it was huge! It has a park for kids, and a couple of shower blocks. The only downside is, it was very expensive!
However, the people working on the site were so friendly and helpful, it made up for it. Would definitely go back, but for us in low season when not too busy.

Scott's Farm is a large open expanse on flat ground with a children's play area and car van section separate to the main body of the site.
The site itself is clean and tidy, but lacks any shelter, differentiation or personal touch. Whilst clean and reasonably well kept, the showers have a bit of modernising to be achieved, the aren't too powerful, and seem to be populated day and night.
It is the sheer numbers of campers at this popular site which really leads to the site's downfall. It's just too busy, and the facilities cannot cope. It feels a little like one is in the camping equivalent to a tenement block, with little or no privacy and your neighbours conversations audible throughout the nigh. Because this site is popular with young families it can be rather fraught with noise and hullabaloo. This is not a personal quiet camping experience.
The shop is reasonably well stocked, and staff helpful enough. The local supermarkets are just a walk away so anything they don't stock is easily retrievable from Tescos.

Excellent level site. Not too far from the beach.
Toilets and showers were modern and clean. Site was tidy. Bit expensive at £23 for the two of us for one night but it's a good site. Helpful staff in reception who were more than happy to give us directions.
Tescos etc only ten minute walk.
Good sandy beaches and excellent for walking.
Thought it might be noisy at night but turned out to be quiet.
Fish n Chip restaurant called the Boardwalk, in town, is amazing! Portion sizes verge on the crazy - go small, I couldn't finish my 'standard' fish n chips!
We'll be back!

My husband and I visited this camp site for a peaceful getaway from our everyday lives. We were sceptical about visiting in the school holidays, however it was the only time we could get off work.
We enjoyed the atmosphere that the site had as all staff were friendly and you could tell they wanted every guest to have the best holiday for them.
We were given a map on arrival and were given directions on how to get to the local beach, pubs and shops. Which were only about a 10 minute walk away.
As I said earlier we were sceptical about the time of year that we chose to visit as we did not want the site to over run with screaming kids. However we were extremely impressed with the way this site was ran as there was a beautiful play area which seemed to keep kids from all ages occupied. At night time there was not a peep from all the little ones that we saw in the day.
We saw members of staff patrolling at night to see if there was an trouble and as we heard nothing I expect if there was they would have dealt with it straight away making our stay even more enjoyable.
The toilet and shower facilities were more than what I would expect from such a busy camp site, they were modern and impeccably clean. There was a queue at 'peak time' however being early risers we did not fall into this bracket.
The things that were sold in reception were a little over priced which we were a bit shocked about as every other facility at this site are to excellent recommendation, but this did not really affect us as we could walk to the local shops for amenities anyway.
There is a good sized dog walking field that would suit all dogs of any size was at this camp site and I would definitely recommend it to dog owners and non dog owners alike.

Lovely family campsite. Went with my partner, our two kids (9months and 3 years), my mum(46) brothers(6 and 10 years) sister and her her two year old, and our friends and there kids. And we all had and amazing 5 nights at Scotts farm. Perfect for all ages, amazing good sized playground, covered in clean sand, with climbing frames, slides, obstacle type stuff, and swings. Lots of clean, warm, FREE, showers, clean toilets. Lovely big field, pitch where you like, laid back friendly environment. 4 big fields so you don't feel close to anyone, nice wind for flying kites, separate field at the end for dog walking.
East Wittering village 5 mins walk, which has a co-op, and tecos local, boots pharmacy as well as a butchers, toy shops, fish and chips, Chinese, and Indian restaurant and various other handy shops. East Wittering beach 10 minute walk, little pebble beach at high tide, sand when the tide goes out, small waves for body surfing. West Witterng beach about half an hour (with kids) can be windy, but a nice big beautiful sandy beach, pay to go in by car(5 quid weekday and 7. 50 weekend), free if you walk. Staff are SO nice and helpful, my sister locked her keys in her car and they got them out fo her, jump started my mums car twice, lovely guys. Reception open till 11pm. Clean dishwashing area with plenty of sinks. 2 washing machines and 2 dryers (the dryers arent very good, clothes dry better in your car overnight). Will definitely be returning next year.
Tips:
-the hedge near the dog walking field can be a bit smelly
-bring your kites
-no fridge to store your food/pay for ice blocks 50p each with 1 pound deposit
-Halima Indian restaurant will deliver to the campsite, and is really nice food
-ocean village Chinese, nice too

We turned up at the site without booking and had no problem getting a pitch, staff were very polite upon arrival,
The site is extremely large we stayed in a non electric tent field which had plenty of room for kids to play and also had a small basketball court and a fenced of play ground.
Toilet and shower facilities were plenty and were very clean the only minor criticism (and a petty one at that) is only one hook on the back of the shower door so nowhere to put your clothes apart from to hang over the door.
Also we camped at the edge of the field close to the toilet block and had people walking past the front of the tent throughout the night, but there was plenty of room to move somewhere else had we wished to.
The site is only a short walk from the beach and 5 mins to the shops, washing machines are available on site.
On the whole a very good site, but at £24 p/n quite expensive for a tent without electric

I have just got back from staying at Scotts Farm with my wife and our 3 children just after the schools broke up.
The reason why we chose Scotts Farm was because it's the closest camp site to the beach and the shops. This meant we could walk to them easily within 10 minutes and so we saved money on petrol and parking.
When we arrived we were told to book in and my wife gave them our details and we received a yellow and pink ticket for our tent. They had given us a map of the local area and a map of their camp site and made us feel very welcome.
We were situated on a field called D field and as we drove past the sandy play area our kids got very excited. After pitching up the staff came and check tickets and also asked us if everything was going well.
The camp site had two toilet and shower blocks and so there was plenty of space and only a waiting time if you went in the peak period.
In terms of constructive criticism I would say that the 'no gazebos' policy should be reviewed as it was more convenient for us to sit under a gazebo than in a tent. However, as our trip progressed we realised that this policy helped the noise pollution of the site as people went to bed earlier and it was easier for our kids to get to sleep without disturbance.
My wife in the morning reassured me in the morning that security came round when he was awake in the early hours of the morning checking the site for any trouble. This made us feel very safe within the site. After spending 5 nights there it was clear that the site is well maintained in every aspect and the staff really care about you having the best holiday you can have.
Surrounding the site there is a particular pub which we began to admire. It was called the Thatched Tavern and has a beautiful garden area where we reclined to after a relaxing day at the beach.
Overall then I would say that if you are a family looking for a site with a great location, great play area and great facilities then Scotts Farm is the place for you!

I visited Scotts Farm camping site for the first time and camped for 1 week with my boyfriend. It was my first time camping and hers too. I was thoroughly impressed by first impressions as everything was clearly labelled on the site and there were fantastic facilities everywhere.
The toilets and showers were clean whenever I went there and the staff were always very helpful. We went on an ordinary pitch instead of electric and was able to charge our mobiles in the office for £1 which was extremely helpful.
In terms for surrounding attractions it was brilliant as the beach was so close to the site that you could even walk it in 10 minutes! There was a village right next to the site which has a Tesco and Co-Op. We spent most of our days at the beach as it was such nice weather.
Sometimes we would walk to West Witterings beach however usually it was so full that we preferred the less busy one as it was more relaxed and less noisy. The site is obviously designed for families as it had a big sandy play area with slides and swings and it was very quiet in the evenings compared to the number of people camping there.
In general, we were surprised about how clean the whole site was in general. It seemed like all the time the staff were coming around picking up litter and checking whether everything was to satisfaction. I was pleased by how friendly everyone was. We made friends with other campers and never experienced any negativity from anyone.
Most nights we would go to a really nice pub with a beautiful garden area which was just next to one of the fields of the camp site through a foot path called the Thatched Tavern. Half way through our trip my parents came down to visit and they registered their car at the office, we had a barbecue next to our tent and had a very enjoyable time.
I will definitely be visiting Scotts Farm in the near future and advice other people to do so too!
