It was a very pleasant and friendly camp site. It was close enough for a group of us to walk to from Bexhill train station (if you are lacking a car) and also very close to the beach. Also a fair amount cheaper than many sites if you visit with a larger group.
The toilet and shower facilities were very clean but showers were not free. They cost 20p for a four minute shower. We enjoyed the quite of the site with no road or overhead noise as well as visiting the animals.
There was lots of space for children to run around but no specific play equipment.
Overall a lovely camp site which we will definitely use again.

Very nice camping park, we stayed in a tent beside my sister and brother-in-law and 2 nephews, The pitches are not marked out well and we had to move both our tents down about 3 meters after erecting them after being told we could have them there The park has toilets and showers for men, women, has also a family room and disabled facilities, though to enter the disabled room there is no slope for wheel chairs and a little step, all were very clean and odourless. Our children loved the animals and often went along to see them, the play park didn't have alot tin it but is due to be updated in 2009, the site has a little shop and nearby there is a Lydl store, Tesco and retail park The site itself was very clean. Nearby is a beautiful beach (about 10 minutes away by car) which makes a cheap day out for the family.
GOOD POINTS
Very clean Very safe for children No noise from traffic Has wind shield by tall fur trees
BAD POINTS
Pitches not set out clearly Alot of wasps during the day Needs a slope for wheelchairs to access disabled toilet.

We were here for 5 days in august when the weather was awful but we still enjoyed our stay.
This was only our second camping holiday and found the facilities were excellent, especially the family shower area and the undercover washing room.
The kids, two boys 3 & 1, loved the playground and the animals and made lots of friends.
The local village had all the shops needed including a Lidl and takeaways galore, (some even deliver to the site).
We visited Paradise Park in Newhaven, the kids loved the dinosaurs and also Bodiam Castle was a real adventure.
Would certainly recommend this site to friends and family and would return again ourselves.
All in all, a great all round site with friendly, helpful owners.

Medium sized site - 4 flat fields. Proprietors on site all day and very helpful. Gates closed at night. When I was there a lot of families with small children but site very quiet and orderly. Within easy driving distance of Bexhill which has good parking, good rail access to other coastal towns such as Eastbourne and Hastings and a good range of facilities in itself.
Some investment probably needed in facilities such as showers and laundry - clean but perhaps not on big enough scale for site.

Just returned from a 5 day stay at this site. Friendly helpful staff that are around all day.
The site is very safe and secure for children ,park and play area was a real hit!
The big downside to this site are the lack of toilet & showers. Only 3 toilets and 2 showers in the ladies so there was always a queue! The family room was ok but that too always had a queue too! May be ok out of season.
Nice area though and food in THE ROSE AND CROWN was great.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The site is peaceful and pretty and no road noise. Will be returning many thanks

What a wicked little site, lots of room, toilets and showers lovely and clean, lots of hot water, (showers need 20p) plenty of time. Kids loved the play area and seeing the small animals. We went on a walk around the area using the footpaths, lovely area. Although we had a horrendous last night, and the site was fairly flooded by the time we got up, we had a great weekend and would recommend this site to anyone, especially families.

This site has quite a large amount of static vans, however didn't make our stay any less enjoyable.
On arrival we were sited near to the kids play area which was perfect for us and our two kids.
There is a large play area with swings and slide etc, also a lot of space to play football. It has high hedging around it so for those without kids it means much less disruption as you wouldn't even know it's there.
Washing up area great, it's in a building so nice and dry.
Lou's great with a family/disabled shower area that looked brand new. Didn't use the showers as we were only there for a short break. From memory there was a small charge (20p) - I think.
Owner very friendly. Viewing platforms for the kids to see the animals and my daughter was very taken by the horses by the time we left!
Overall very good site and would visit again.

On arrival the owners were very friendly and helpful. The weather the first night was horrendous, thunder storm with too much rain and the rain stayed with us for the whole of our stay, but with all the rain and the mud and dirt the toilets were spotless all day. The showers (20p for 5 mins) were more than adequate and were hot at all times. I would recomend this site for families (nice play area) for price and facilities. We could not fault this site.

3 families = 8 children - Great site
Toilets are the cleanest I have ever seen. Great Family shower room.
Playground great. Kids loved the small animals.
Farm shop offered great selection of basics.
In a great area to go and see lots of different things. We visited Bodiam Castle one day approx 25mins away and Camber Sands the next which is 45 mins away.
Really great campsite def would recommend to anyone wanting to tire out the kids. Nice and quiet in the evenings too.
