We went on a bank holiday weekend. There was not much space between tents and there was no-where for the kids to run off and kick a ball without it bashing into someone else's property.
On the other hand, toilets were clean and so was the campsite. There were plenty of places to wander to in Wallingford.
The outdoor pool was a little too expensive to make the most of during typical British bank holiday weather!

Superb site in very accessible location (but make sure you phone ahead in evening to get height restriction barrier raised - otherwise you're stuck out in the road).
The facilities absolutely amazing - new and clean and even smell nice.
All local facilities are nearby and Wallingford is a lovely town. River nearby makes a pleasant walk or boating.
Strongly recommended

Easy to find after crossing the Thames bridge from Wallingford it's on your right but be aware the site does use a height barrier so phone beforehand.
Owners & staff were pleasant, chatty & helpful I was told to pitch anywhere I liked. Once set up we inspected the facilities block wow & I mean wow, they are what every camper of all types of units want, absolutely mint!
The only thing that distracted about this site was the amount of bare grass pitches around due to long stayers or non breathable ground sheets such a shame to spoil a nice site. No motorhome service point.
Plenty to eat & drink just five minutes walk away in the town centre or turn right & sample a thai pub or one of the hungry horse chain of pubs. We cycled along the Thames path to Benson where there is a licensed cafe doing lovely grub or a nice pin,t right next to the Thames.
If the red kite bird of prey watching is your thing you are going to love this area, as is helicopter spotting from the nearby RAF Benson.
We will return soon!

Local:
Nicely located for visiting Wallingford and walks along the river Thames, ample local pubs and eating places. We sampled the local fish and chip shop in town opposite Waitrose, £10 for Cod & chips for two.
Hungry Horse pub/restaurant chain 300 yards from site.
Site:
Toilet and shower block were probably the most modern and cleanest that we have come across. No hard standing all grass pitches. No playground for kids
Spent 3 nights at this and would definitely recommend it.

Our first experience of camping was a pleasure at this site.
The shower & toilets are extremely clean, the washing up room and laundry access are great.
Will happily return. The short walk to Wallingford provides a great choice of pub & grub places, allowing for all budgets.

As promised we were back. We held a rally here. The pitch we were given for our club - which is Bicester Caravan Club, was excellent. The weather couldn't have been better. The facilities were all working perfectly this time and were still excellent. The ambience on the site was lovely, I expect the weather helped, but everyone was jolly and friendly. The site was very full, but you would not have know it, there was no queing for facilities at all. The shop was well stocked again and the prices are very reasonable. I find this site perfect for a chill out weekend. Wallingford itself is a 5 min walk away and you have the river thames even closer to walk along. We had a lovely weekend and will be back again next year. Thank you very much.

This site is fantastic, It boasts a well stocked shop and the amenity block is first class and is always clean. They have EHU there which is great if like me your in a tent. The site itself is surrounded by woodland with lovely walks and its near the Ridgeway, A walk to the village of South Stoke is a must, There is so much to explore. Wallingford is a ten minute walk away as are the castle gardens and meadows and if you love Antiques there is the Lamb Arcade in Wallingford. The site owner is helpful an has a good knowlage of the local area. I enjoyed my time here an did not want to go. I will be returning for many years to come. At night there is noise form aircraft as RAF Benson is nearby but its not that bad but it does not go on all night an also very slight traffic noise but again this did not bother me. Dont let this put you off as this is such a great site in a lovely area. There is boat hire through the week at Benson on the riverside but they don't hire boats on Sundays. The Wallingford Museum is well worth a visit if you love History. If you go at the Start of September Wallingford hoasts an event called Bunkfest which is well worth seeing as its not just music, There are vintage cars an steam traction engines and farm animals, Its great for kids through the day at this event. The Music starts on the evening and ends at 11pm. I spent a lot of my Childhood in Wallingford an its a place you will always return to. I would not hesitate in recommending Bridge Villa site, Its a lovely place to stay hence why I can not wait to return there.

First time camping here. Good location for a weekend jaunt. River Thames just across the road, as well as an outdoor council run swimming pool. Wallingford town 5 minutes walk over the bridge. Good choice of shops, restaurants and pubs and a Waitrose.
Site was small but perfectly formed. No proper playground but children played on their bikes around the site. Facilities were amazing. Spotless toilets and showers. Gleaming!
Basic shop. Would definitely return.

We were amazed at the quality of the site.
Clean, infact immaculate toilet/shower facilities and washing provisions.
Plenty of room to park and set up.
Shops, pubs and places to eat in abundance and variety.
We will definitely visit again and recommend the site to friends, as was recommended to ourselves.
But don't just believe us, try it yourselves.

Having booked at the very last minute I wasn't sure what to expect but must say that I was very pleasantly surprised. The toilet/shower block although not huge was never busy and only an occasional queue for the showers. The showers are modern and you just pass your hand over the sensors. At all times of the day and night the toilet/shower blocks were immaculate. There is a separate toilet/shower for those with a disability. The washup and laundry area again are small but clean and more than adequate for the site. The washing machine is £2.50 for a wash and the drier £1.25. Both machines are Miele and there is a choice of 4 wash programmes and takes a 6.5Kg load. The drier has a sensor and will actually dry your clothes completely without having to continually add more money. For me this was great with 3 children.
As in previous reviews there are plenty of pubs, restaurants, parks, etc. We got friendly with a resident on the site who gave us great advice. The regatta was on at Henley while we were there. We travelled to Legoland easily although it would have been more convenient to have been closer. Easy to travel to Oxford and we went to Windsor. Car boot sales - don't go to Didcot as apparently it is expensive to get into. There are plenty of local fetes and car boots all around. There was even a donkey and dog show on locally.
There is loads to do and we hardly scratched the surface. I would love to return to this site again and explore more of the area which is lovely. There are a lot of Red Kites in the area. Only downside was the slight noise from the road and the helicopters seemed to enjoy night exercises. The site would benefit from a play area but there are play areas a short walk from the site.
