Just returned from a week at this truly wonderful caravan park. The staff were very helpful and obviously take great pride in their site that they maintain to a very high standard. The location is absolutely excellent with super views over the golf course to the sea! The ground is super for pegging down the awnings and the site is very quite of an evening. The walk from the site down to the beach takes 5 minutes and then you can take the promenade to Whitby( which is a lovely town but a bit like Blackpool with Dracula!) or walk along the beautiful beach to Sandsend and have a drink in the lovely pub or just get an icecream. We were lucky enough to be blessed with wonderful weather but I have to say this area is an absolutely beautiful part of this fine country and should be visited by all.
In conclusion; a wonderful site with excellent facilities and great local walks. Will definitely re-visit.

This was our first visit to this site and we found it very pleasant indeed. The site has beautiful sea views and well spaced pitches. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The shower and toilet block was spotless. Just one small complaint we thought after paying £17.50 per night to be asked to pay a further £1.50 to use our wind out awning off our motorhome a bit excessive.
However we would recommend this site and will use again if ever we are up that way

This site offers an unrivalled position, high on the cliff overlooking the sea and within walking distance to Whitby along the sea wall.
However, we were disappointed with the site this time round. The owners were friendly enough but the site lacked attention to detail and has a few problem areas. The toilet block although dated is adequate although could have been cleaner. Stains up toilet doors remained throughout the week as did muck and dust in corners and surfaces. Water pressure was poor and even worse when someone flushes the loo while you are in the shower. Hot water was also a problem, just not enough of it. Toilet emptying point was a disgrace. Lack of cloths for wiping down sinks after use. Showers on a timer although free, a pain to keep getting out and pressing the button. Grey water containers can only be emptied and cleaned at the drinking water tap / sink.
The site is kept to a reasonable standard, although much of the site is given over to annual lets, the hard standings are far to small for the longer van, resulting in untidy grass around the permanent pitches, electricity kept going off. Did not see mower, but would guess a grass box may not have been used as grass everywhere
Having said this, it is quite reasonable at £14 and £17.50 over the weekend. A little more thought and attention to cleanliness would improve this site.

Visited near end of October. A very clean and tidy site. Very handy for the golf course which is opposite the site. We was sited near to the entrance due to the size of our motorhome, but it did not cause any problems. We were treated to magnificent views.
The toilet blocks where clean and tidy.
There is a nice walk from the site along the sea front to the town of Whitby.
We would recommend the site to any touring golfers, however be warned the golf course is not easy to play if you are a novice.

Just visited this caravan site and it is excellent I wish we could have stayed longer. Pitches are all hard standing and the toilet blocks are very clean. The staff are very helpful, the site is also kept very clean and tidy. A lovely walk to whitby along the sea front about a mile or a mile the other way to sands end or if you prefer golf, golf course just across the road. Also if you visit the white house pub ten mins walk you get a lovely pint and a nice bar meal. Definitely going back next year.

Got the last pitch at 7:00pm on a wet June night, the lady however couldn't have been more helpful! Lovely site in a lovely location. The only 'fault' I would raise is that we moved 3 times in 4 nights! As the lady was 'ruled' by her computer! e.G. She couldn't put the new people coming in on the vacant pitch next door 'as the computer said' they were booked on ours so we moved next door.
But apart from that it was well priced, very clean for such a full site, sea views and nice staff - WILL use again! (if the computer says we can!)

Just got back from 3 days at Sandfield. Really friendly welcome and we got personally shown to our plot by the owner, who was very pleasant and really helpful. The toilet & shower block were spotless and the site itself was immaculate. We tried 3 ways to get into Whitby:-
1.Walking (about 20mins)But very relaxing.
2.Service bus stops just outside side.(5 mins - £1.40)
3.Taxi - £4.50.
Play area, tennis court and playing field for kids. Every caravan has panoramic sea views. 5 minute walk to beach. Will definitely return to this site.

What a lovely site, owners were friendly. The lady owner loved her golf buggy lol
We stayed on a graveled pitched which was very level. All pitches looked out on to the sea which was great.
Toilet block,Shower Block,Laundry and Washing up arear were lovely and clean.
Very cheap weekend away, we payed £15.50 a night with awning for 3 Adults and 1 Child, which is cheap to say how close you are to Whitby (Nice steady 20 minute walk to Whitby)and Sandsend is 5 minutes away.Scarbourough is 25 minutes by car!
Theres a LIDL and a Petrol Station up the road about 10 minutes away by car.(Turn right at the mini round-about on to Love Lane)
Overall 10/10 :)
Will be back again next summer!

Just got back from this great little site. We stayed on a gravel pitch which was level even though the site is on a slope. The shower/toilet block was clean and warm, which was good considering it was snowing at the time of our stay. It's a nice walk into Whitby if the weather is nice, taxi's are reasonable £5 into town. I think the site has been taken over since our last stay a few years ago, the owners were friendly and welcoming. I'm looking forward to going back when the weather improves as there is always something going on in Whitby in the Summer, and in my opinion this is the best site in the area.

Just got back from Sandfield House Farm and it was a fantastic site.
Clean, tidy and well run. Pot washing place, baby change, washers, driers, ironing. All spotless.
Footpath from site to beach. Turn left for a beautiful little seaside village with beach for children called Sandsend. Turn right for Whitby. Both approx 1 mile from site. Lovely walks.
Tennis courts and football pitch on site. Whitby golf club over the road.
Dogs allowed, but you must look after them and clean up after them.
All together a great site. We will return.
