Excellent organisation with good clean facilities.
Ideally suited for walking into Robin Hoods Bay.
There are walks along a shingle path through a wooded area close by and not far to walk along the cliff tops.

A good standard caravan / motorhome park with all the facilities you would expect on a modern site. - expensive though - at £32. 72 (strange price) per night - this being the most expensive of eight caravan parks that we have booked since being released from lock-down.
Conveniently situated 1. 5 miles from Whitby Town centre, with a choice of walking routes (road or prom) or bus transport into town (bus stops are directly outside the site entrance).
Only ‘cons’ are that the facilities blocks are situated close together near the site entrance, making a long walk from the outermost pitches. And the site itself is completely featureless (view it on Google Earth) - basically just a large flat caravan ‘car park’ - & therefore not very private when sitting or barbecuing etc outside.
Overall - recommended for being a good facilities site with easy access to Whitby and bus links, but rather on the expensive side.

Lovely site just outside Whitby. Well kept, clean toilets and showers, well sanitised against Covid, best Elsan I've used, well designed. Tennis court, dog area, friendly staff.
Adjacent to Whitby Golf club and nice walk along beach into Whitby.
Only thing I didn't like was the road is very busy outside camp and you need to be careful crossing the road.

Fell in love with this site as soon as I saw the view. It is a wonderfully clean and well presented site with everything you need, hot and cold running water, showers and toilet block all very clean.
The walk into Whitby can be done either on the beach, or on the cliff top, either way a good walk, not too far.
We have been back to this site and are now looking forward to returning in September 2020 for a few nights.

Lovely site. Felt quiet although full.
Facilities open and very clean and modern. Hand gel at the doorway. Views across the countryside.
Nothing to complain about here.

Very nice clean tidy campsite with good staff and very good facilities.
20 min walk along the beach to Whitby, cycle and walking paths directly outside site entrance.
Nice friendly local pub just 10 min walk.
We would definitely return if we were in the area.

This was our third visit. The site is always immaculate and very busy. As soon as a pitch became vacant it was raked, the grass trimmed and it was filled again.
The site did look a little like a fairground after nightfall with flashing lights on poles and awnings, but on the whole it was quiet most of the time.
We always make sure the storm straps are packed as it can be very windy at any time of the year.
