I would definitely recommend sandfield house farm caravan park for a holiday.
We absolutely loved it here the park was immaculate and kept very well with beautiful views of the sea.
The facilities were spotlessly clean all the time.
There are plenty of toilets and showers on site so there was always showers available for use.
The staff were very helpful and polite and always available if needed.
Thankyou all at sandfield house farm for a lovely stay we will definitely be back.

Fantastic site. Over looking the cliffs at whitby for stunning views. The site is maintained to a high standard and the toilets are spotless.
Pizza girls come on a Friday evening in their converted horse trailer, icecream man comes around.
Bus stops outside for whitby Harbour every 30 minutes for your 10 minute ride.
If you want to unwind and recharge those batteries this is the place.
Staff super friendly and there are night wardens if needed, plus if you have pets there is a separate place to let your pet off.
Would we come back yes we would.
Well worth the site fees.

The site is a welcoming, well designed, laid-out and maintained campsite for touring caravans or motorhomes.
The site is slightly sloped, so most pitches have somewhat of a sea view.
The facilities are equally well designed and kept almost pristinely clean. Plenty of hot water, and I never needed to queue for any facility at anytime. As there are two amenity blocks, one is always open whilst the other is being cleaned.
Both Whitby and Sandsend are about a 25 minute walk along either the beach or paths. There is the beach, a golf course, a pub, a Chinese takeaway and some shops, including a Lidl superstore within 15 minutes walk, or 4 minutes drive. Other superstores in Whitby are about a 10 minute drive.
Buses pass in either direction every half hour, with the adult fare being £2.

Very good facilities. We particularly liked the underfloor heating in the sanitary block which was very modern and equipped to a high standard!
It was a pleasure to meet the very friendly and helpful reception staff.
The site location is within easy walking distance of Whitby along the coast but there is a bus available from the site entrance if you prefer.
Our rating for site was reduced because it wasn’t the cheapest at around £35 per night.

A very clean, well organised site within easy reach of Whitby either by walking or bus. Handy bus stop right outside the entrance with a regular half hour service during the day.
Toilet and shower room spotless; the only downside being that the shower cubicles aren't very big; and that the shower and dry areas are not separated adequately.
A powerful shower head completely wets the cubicle, making it difficult to dry and dress.
Laundry room is again spotless with free use of a spinner after handfasting items.
The washing machines and dryers are a tad expensive so needs a full load to make it worth doing.
Free guest WiFi is an added bonus.

Initially I was taken aback by the rows of caravans and motorhomes on the hillside, but over my 5 night stay I came to like Sandfield House very much, and the view was lovely.
The weather wasn't good and the ground was saturated but the staff worked like trojans to try and keep the site looking nice.
I appreciated the cleanliness, the fact that everything worked well and the helpfulness and cheeriness of the staff.
I also liked the regular buses that stopped outside the gates. I would stay there again.

A well presented and located site - good, well maintained and clean facilities in two blocks. Staff friendly and helpful. Large, fenced dog exercise area and separate playing field. Small shop in reception with a few basics.
The layout of hard access roads is too limited - most pitches only accessible over grass. This is not a big issue, and it's nice to have big grassed areas, but it doesn't look so great when churned up by vehicles in wet weather.
Very limited number (7) of fully-serviced pitches, and we were told they are booked up many months in advance (justification to increase number?). We couldn't get one for the 2-weeks we were there, and it was most frustrating to us that very few vans used the water and drainage connections.
The downside of the scenic location / views is that the site is very exposed to winds, which were strong for most of our stay.

This site is very well situated for exploring Whitby and the surrounding coastline. Whitby is within walking distance (about 30 minutes – you can go along the beach at low tide, or the promenade, or stay higher up on the cliff road if you don’t fancy the climb back up to the town).
There are some lovely villages close by including Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes - both of these involve a fairly steep climb. There is a bus stop right outside the site with frequent busses; from here you can catch a bus into Whitby (and hence beyond) or up the coast towards Middlesborough.
You can also catch a train to Pickering along the heritage railway. Whitby has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.
There are no chalets or statics on site; only touring outfits. The site is on a gentle slope up from the cliffs adjoining the sea, and most pitches have a sea view.
Pitches are shingle and level laterally, with a slight incline from front to back. The pitches are interspersed with grass; there are few hedges and the pitches are quite close together, but what the site lacks in charm, it makes up for with the location.
Facilities are clean, modern, and very well maintained. There are two toilet blocks, so one is always available. Staff are friendly and efficient.
There is a Lidl within walking distance (about 5 minutes drive) and a smaller Costcutter supermarket about 5 minutes walk from the site.
All in all an excellent site and one we would use again without hesitation. The only reason I have marked it down slightly is the rather functional appearance of the site, but if you can live with that it’s perfect.

Very tidy and well looked after site.
I would have liked to have been able to reverse on to the pitch as I use my rear doors more and would have been able to have sea views.
Wi-fi is terrible!
Showers couldn’t be adjusted for temp and had to keep pressing the ‘activate’ button every 5 seconds or so for the risk of it turning off.
