August 2004 This was our first time camping. Had a lovely time but weather was wet at night, found site to be very clean and tidy. The showers and toilets were cleaned every day but if you were in the top field you had a long walk to the shower block, we found that if you got to the shower block after 8am you had to queue as there were only three showers for men and three showers for women, my wife had to share her shower with our two girls and found the cubical very small.
The swimming pool on the site is small but seemed to be big enough for the children to play in. There was plenty of room to pitch your tent /t ents even on the bank holiday weekend. The night-time entertainment was very good and much fun was had by all. The shop seemed very small but everything you would want was there, the main supermarket was a 5 minute drive away as is the main town and beach.
We will be returning this year in August as we all enjoyed our first camping holiday at this site - Would recommend this site to any one especially if it's your first time. Mark & Linda

May 2004 Last visited 2 years ago. Sorry to say the 1 toilet & shower block is still no better. This is a lovely site but is really let down by the toilets. If you pitch in the top field you have quite a walk to the toilets. This site needs the old block pulling down & rebuilding plus a new block in the top field, investment is the key to future growth.

August 2003 I have visited this campsite for weekends and two week breaks for most years over the last 20 years! Used to come here with my parents, and now bring our children (aged 3 and 6). I have to say this site hasn't changed much, and unfortunately that includes the shower blocks which definately need updating as does the children's park. Apart from that this is a fantastic place for families. You can choose your pitch (which are not pegged) so you get plenty of space. Great for kids bikes, swing ball etc. In addition there is a games field. There is an outdoor pool for the children and entertainment in the 'barn' during high season. All in all a great site. Have been to many campsites but this is the best for space and freedom. Have had many happy holidays here.

August 2002 This was my wifes first ever camping trip and she was somewhat nervous, we had booked the trip fairly late on in the season and decided to stay for 3 nights. We arrived fairly early on a saturday morning and were more than a little surprised to find a larger than expected site, with families enjoying the outside pool, which seemed very popular. We were greeted warmly by the staff and pitched our tent on a very slightly sloped area that had good hedged breaks. The shower blocks seemed clean, the shop was small but had enough products to keep you going and there was a lovely little bar/entertainment area. The site was both clean and pretty quiet. For a first trip camping my wife was loving it- so much so that we are buying a trailer tent and going to return here. To sum up this is a very good family site that is very much worth a visit--- Kevin & Sally.

July 2003 Plenty of space for children to run, but that was the only thing that impressed us. The shower blocks were inadequate , we had a toddler with us and found no where to sit in the shower rooms to dry and dress her , as the whole of the cubicle got wet when showering. There were dead flys all over the toilets and two out of the four were out of order when I last went in. I would have thought that main weeks the club house might have been open in the day especially when raining but not so.
