My stay was very brief, only one night, but the staff over the evening and following morning were polite, friendly and helpful.
The toilet/shower block was vey well maintained.
The pitches were secluded enough, yet weren't segregated too much to be away from neighbours.
The site seemed big enough to contend with a large amount of people but not too busy to be overcrowded.
I didn't use a lot of the facilities so can't comment on things like the restaurant or bar, but passing them, they seemed clean and well looked after.
I also can't comment on the tarriff as my visit was paid for by another group.

Stayed here for a long weekend in June. Really lovely site, our pitch was on a slight slope but not a problem. We were on the lower field near the swimming pool and the evening sunshine was fantastic. Facilities very good, our kids loved the pool. Weymouth just a short drive. Top site and area. Will be going back for a longer stay soon.

The few days we stayed unfortunately the weather was not the best, which on other sites may have caused less enjoyment. However thanks to the well presented and reasonably priced club house it was still a really good break. Our kids enjoyed the Magic show with our 6 year old taking to the stage.
Really nice family that run the site. We managed to use the pool once whilst we were there, an added benefit to have on traditional family site.
The newer Toilets & Showers were fantastic in premier condition, the owners have thought about when the block is being cleaned as you still have use of the older block which is dated but clean - however this is great as you can still have a toilet block when the main one is closed.
The only improvement feedback I would give is that it is not entirely well sign posted from the main road from Weymouth (you need to turn right at the lights)when we entered Weymouth we went under a flyover and the satnav lost the plot. However on the lane it forks off of there is a large house so maybe there is covenants to what you can put there in terms of signs. Would not have a problem with returning in the future.

Lovely site, smashing showers and very clean.
Meals at the barn good and value for money. Beers need some TLC to make them a bit more enjoyable. Good shop. The rule sheet was extensive! Understandable I guess with a huge site and the liability culture these days. You need to drive or be a good hiker to reach the bus stop or beach. Nearby Abbotsbury is beautiful and a must see village. Loved Weymouth too. Our accompanying friends had children and they loved it here. Dog friendly for our two pooches

Return visit to West Fleet for 14 days and enjoyed it just as much as last year. We did try looking for other sites closer to Poole as we were looking at attractions over that part this year having done the Weymouth side last year, however after endless searching and reading reviews we decided that there were no other sites to match West Fleet. The standard was still the same (high), no noise after 11pm and we got the pitch we requested. Going back again next year for a week as a stop over on our way to Guernsey. Can't recommend this site enough. It has every thing for all variety of campers.

Been going to west fleet and sea barn for the last 7 years but after a two year break how its changed, new loo/showers, new pool complex, the old barn has gone with a new club house all great. Busy time of year Mid August if you stagger your washing up and showers you beat the rush. Facilities all nice and clean during the day. Shop well stocked plenty of hot water. Separate field for the kids games. Staff friendly non electric hook up take your pick where you pitch plenty of room. Close to Weymouth supermarket nearby, quiet after 22:00, to be honest all good reviews.

For a site rated so highly by everyone I was expecting top notch facilities and the site is in a lovely setting. The pitches are large and very level and the site is clean and quiet at night. The down side is the pool feels unheated, the playground is tired and needs updating, the showers at any time of the day are luke warm with no temp control and the staff are not friendly at all.
After travelling for 3 hours no friendly chat or welcome was given at reception. This is a service industry after all!
I have been to many sites and was disappointed that this site did not match up to the reviews. Of course reviews are all subjective but I would expect a good hot shower from how the facilities are described by reviewers and that was not the case at all. I feel campers could do much better else where for the tariff charged.

Short 1 night stay with a friend. Able to choose non ehu pitch near pool. Pool lovely and warm although this was probably helped by unseasonably hot weather. Staff were overall very friendly but as many have mentioned we did get shouted at for allowing children to jump in pool even though it was quiet at the time. 2 of our group cut themselves on a sharp bit of metal on pool step. Staff responded very quickly and matter resolved. Good play park. Lots of room for tennis and bikes. Toilets acceptable overall very happy and great weekend and hoping to go back soon.

Great site ! Kids loved it. We had EHU and were given a choice of pitches when we arrived and had D field to ourselves for a few days. Great washroom facilities with two family bathrooms which is great with smaller children, although the site was busy we never had to wait long for them. Showers were good and private sink areas and everything was always spotless.
Good playground for the kids and loads of room to run around, well stocked shop which wasn't overpriced. Swimming pool was warm and always clean. Site only 10 mins from Weymouth seafront, park in the station car park, always room and only a £2-£3 all day !
Had a fantastic week, with happy kids with loads of memories.

Lovely clean site with flat pitches. We had a spot allocated as we wanted EHU, but option to choose where you pitch if you don't need/ want hook up.
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Swimming pool warm enough to use - at least by the children, the grown ups were slightly less hardy.
Good walks off site for the dogs, although much of the time needed to be on leads because of the grazing animals.
Didn't try the children's entertainment or bar - my children slightly too old for it.
Good pub - The Turk's Head in Chicherell - allows dogs into the bar, serves good food too.
We have booked to go back next year.
