September 2004 We visited in September 2004,and were shown our pitch by a very caring site warden, nothing was too much trouble. The shower/toilet blocks were in good order, the only problem being lack of adequate lighting on the site on a night. But this did not stop us having a great time. Will be back next year, for sure.

October 2004 just arrived back - didn,t want to come home. We found the site very good. shower blocks and toilets clean and warm. Plenty of hot water. site shop open but very expensive, we used the Co-op and Lidl in Mablethorpe. Site warden very good. Park caravan where you like and he didn' bother us at all.

July 2004 We [2aduts 2 kids 9--7] went the first week of the hols, we were all disappointed about this site. The on site shop was not open [it was going to open the 1st of the 8th] the takeaway was not open, there was no laundry on site, the showers were dirty. My wife witnessed the cleaner use the same instrument for cleaning both the toilets and the showers and im talking about the pan. Very bad lighting on a night time.

July 2004 After over 10 years camping we have never been quite as disappointed-especially as this site is linked to Haven. Staff on the 'Meadows' were great, but everything else low standard...hand driers that didn't work (and weren't fixed in the week we were there) showers that didn't work properly and no lights at the far end of the site, and after heavy rain the whole site became boggy...to the point people were having to carry young children to avoid them being up to their knees (literally)in mud. Obviously the weather is part and parcel of the camping experience, but the site didn't dry up, even after a few hot days.

April 2004 A bit disappointed with the site. Very boggy, within minutes a kind 4 x 4 driver had to tow us clear as our caravan wheel had sunk 4 inches on the plot we had been allocated, before we'd even unhitched. There were very few lights working on the site which meant it was very dark going to the toilet block at night. Although the showers and toilets were clean some locks and toilet seats were missing, which for the start of the season, was a bit disappointing. The land train wasn't running because it had broken down and a part was needed to repair it, which again was a bit disappointing for the start of the season. It was quite a walk for the children every day to the main park where all the entertainment was held. The main park looked like it wasn't finished with building materials lying around. The staff on the meadows touring pitch were excellent, very helpful and friendly, and on our last day showed great concern that we may become stuck because of the wet ground. We would return, but know now what to expect, and would advise anyone who goes not to expect too much and then you won't be disappointed and will have a good time.

July 2003 A little disapointed with this site not quite what we expected. The site is fairly level and has views across the countryside, there are 2 fishing lakes being created for 2004.
The site warden is very freindly, there are 2 toilet blocks with shower facilites although some of the showers were not working when we were there.
There is about a 10 min walk to the main Haven site and also to the beach which you reach via sand dunes.
