This was probably the worst campsite I've ever visited. It was a swamp more then a certified campsite. Motorhomes were getting stuck and our tent was in a pool of water. We were camped next to the kids play ground and that was flooded too. This campsite was for people to take out extra money to move into a static caravan. Not returning to a haven again.

Holiday on this site in April, for 5 nights, stayed on the hardstanding as last year stayed in field but the ground is so unlevel, the showers/toilet blocks are unreal for 2 days of our stay couldn, t use them till after 10am due to there being a problem with the pumps, the site had the same problem in 2013 but haven't felt it needed to be rectified, playground for the children I very sparse, and the 2 caravan/camping fields are still very unlevel.

we have stayed at this site several times using a folding camper, 4, 6 and 10 man tents (at different times). The site is always clean and tidy and is flat and stone free. Shower and toilet blocks are clean and functional although it would be nice not to have to press the shower button every 17 seconds. Its in a good location and has been made much better since the link road to the main camp was put in. It has all the usual haven entertainment facilities although we only really use the swimming pool and arcade. Food and drink in the complex is way over priced (standard at all havens). Across the road is a nice sandy beach which is great on a hot day, also the seal sanctuary which is worth a visit. The ferry boat inn is also across the road and has entertainment and a small arcade for the kids. Its worth making the effort to walk rather than drive into mablethorpe especially if you go up the dunes path. Plenty of 'seaside shops' and arcades, ice cream etc in town. Good places to eat and drink include the beck pub on the front, montault arms in town and the louth hotel (cup of tea 60p). The ability to book online is a big attraction to us especially with discount codes online. Best we managed was £12. 60 for 3 nts in may. Overall a good traditional seaside holiday. Just try to break out of the haven camp and sample the local amenities

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights had a great time, Touring manager was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with as first time motorhomers she directed us to out pitch which was hardstanding and explained everything to us. The toilet block was very clean and well stocked and very near to the pitch also an essentials shop but we didn't use it but good if you ran out of something. It was a ten minute walk to the entertainment centre and restaurant but not a problem for us. We ate in the restaurant both nights and a good choice menu and excellent food at a reasonable price although it could work out expensive for a family. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and we wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Been to Haven sites on many occasions and always found them very good. The camping area here is different. The camping manager(s) let you camp were you like he could not care less. So we had a great big pitch which was flat although a bit lumpy. I should imagine if it rained a lot this would be very muddy. The shower block is well equipped and cleaned regally but the press button only lasts a couple of seconds and people had put cable ties on them so you could make them run without pressing. Ingenious! The walk to the facilities takes fifteen minutes; no I don’t run, then another five minutes to get to the entrance. All facilities have one entrance. To get out from the restaurant is a five minute walk to get to within ten feet of where you were sitting. OK that’s enough moaning. The faculties are good, indoor heated pool, with lifeguards, fun slides for younger ones and teenagers. Small area of rides for young kids. Lovely beach ten minutes away and a visit to the seal sanctuary, across the road is worthwhile. This is a Haven tried and tested model but they should spend some money on the ground and instil campsite staff with a bit of pride in their job. Maybe the former will encourage the later.

This site was ok for what we had paid ( staying there was on offer) but I would have felt hard done by if I'd have paid the going rate.
The site access to our part of the field was poor. Some very deep pot holes. But it looked better in other areas.
The main facilities that you get with a haven site were good. (don't recommend the on site chip shop) some of the worst chips I've ever had.
Showers and toilets were always clean but the buttons press for a shower gave barley any time! It became infuriating. I don't see why they needed to install buttons that give hot water for just a few seconds. Changing that would make the showers a 100% better.
Overall I had a nice stay but it was off peak. I can imagine the summer holidays give a different feel to the site.

Great touring site and at good prices when kids are back at school as they really hyke the price in the holidays. As a touring base its very good. Good carvery pub at the end of the road same for the ferry boat pub at the other end. Really friendly staff to assist you in parking your outfit. Small shop in the touring reception. And a spar shop down in main complex. Good walks round the back of the site on the old railway track. Very handy. For letting your mutt off the lead. Just one thing it does get a bit muddy when it rains. But no probs as there is tractors to get you off site. Carry on camping, , that's the name of the game. Enjoy your selves

First time my family have stayed at a Haven site with our Tent. The touring park is furthest away from the entertainment park, anybody with a disability was having to drive to the entertainment. We were not probably shown to our pitch and was just pointed to the area by a gentleman. The approach to the pitch was full of pot holes causing many drivers to approach in to someone's pitch to avoid the potholes. The grass had not been looked after and needed a good cut. The facilities on the touring site were all there although the temperature of the water was hit and miss, leaving me washing dishes in lukewarm water. After 8 at night you needed to take your own toilet roll as their would be none left. The men's toilet was just a trough witch apparently kept flooding. My children loved the facilities on the campsite but I was disappointed that although you had entertainment passes you were expected to pay for the rides the only thing free was the swimming pool which was good for my youngest but boring for my eldest. We did not go to the evening entertainment after seeing the price of alcohol we opted to enjoy the company of friends at the campsite. Although I like Haven I don't think I will use a touring pitch again.

Stayed in Haven sites before but only in statics, but when we visited this site we were in our tourer.
Never again will I go to a Haven site, in my own opinion you are treated like a second class citizen, you firstly have to drive a great distance to a field, we were greeted by a lad who said he would find us a nice pitch, he couldn't of put us in a worst spot in the middle of a field exposed to the north sea elements in what looked like had been a battle field.
I even asked him if I could up grade to a hard standing pitch but was told their was none even though half a dozen lay empty that night an please bear in mind this is the weekend that most of England was getting 5ft snowdrifts.
The toilet facilities were clean but cold as -3 winds were blowing through windows which you could not shut so going for a hot shower was out the question and every time you went to the toilet block you could not avoid the mud and this in turn is then going in your van.
As for the waste disposal point is was covered in excrement which to me was the final straw as the next morning I hitched the van up and found a far better and cleaner site down the road and as for a future booking it was cancelled on what was a very sorry full experience, I'm sure in the height of summer the site may be a lot better but the service and standards for a touring caravan I believe you still will be classed as 2nd class customers in my opinion. So in the future no I will not return to this site.

Booked 7 days here on the internet in march only because it was cheap £50 for 7 days and offered £20 petrol voucher which we couldn't pass up that would pay for the trip there as it was over 120 miles away
Any way it was a field a bogged down field high winds and we got stuck twice far due they did pull us out within 30 mins with a 4X4. But when we asked about the petrol voucher they knew nothing about it so I left it till we got back and emailed the head office and they said sorry and would contact the park and email me when they had sent the vouchers I waited a month nothing so emailed them again and seems they just fobbed me off with rubbish hopping I would forget it and leave them alone 3 months later still nothing.
Will never use Haven holidays again.
