Just got home from this site today, 4 nights over Bank Holiday weekend.
The site was fully booked, both in the main site and a rally in the rally and camping field, however all of the facilities remained spotless. Toilet blocks and washing area were kept clean, well stocked with loo roll, hand towels, soap etc.
The staff were all friendly and really helpful, always acknowledge you, any time of the day.
Great fishing - Check for match's though if you are planning for a big fishing break, both pools open to public too, so it gets busy in the morning.
Fab location for cycling and walking, 2 really good pubs in Doddington, sampled both of course, real ales, very reasonable prices.
Will definetley go back next year.
**Nice to have**
A hairdryer in the Ladies would be great !

Friendly atmosphere. Inviting to one and all. Excellent hardstandings with plenty of space. Level, spacious, tiered site with lighting. Dog friendly, with many good walks available. Super fishing, with two very well stocked lakes. Easy access, well signposted from the main road. Nice facilities, could need heating in winter. Disabled friendly, ample room for wheelchair. Welcoming owners on arrival. All services on pitch, water, waste, 16amp elec. Tastefully laid out, shrubs, trees and bulbs. Excellent for relaxing, and chilling out. Return for sure.

We just returned home from a really lovely week at fields end water it was a lovely site the pitches were very good with your own gray water drain and water tap
The toilets and showers were both immaculate and every body working there was very friendly and helpful.
The fishing was good and the two lakes very well looked after. With all that and the view of the fens and the peace and quiet it was the best site I have been on for a long time.

We have just returned from Fields End Water after a really relaxing break.
The atmosphere was just right, peaceful and quiet, yet the other campers were also very friendly. We had no problems with noise and we slept well all through our holiday.
At the moment the new area is quite open, but with all the lovely planting that has been done, it will improve every year.
The choice of hardstanding or grass pitches, both with full services is brilliant(especially good for those with a bad back who don't want to go back and forth to empty waste and bring water).
In time it would be nice to see the road to the camping area re-surfaced as it is a bit bumpy and also very messy when there has been heavy rain.
Other than that it is perfect and we will definitely be returning.

If you like to fish this is the park for you, from the choice of two lakes (well stocked) to the site itself, it has all you will need, IE Reception, shop, small cafe, loads of fishing bits + bait, first class toilets and showers, and a choice of grass or hard standing parking, with hookups and most with own tap. Oh and this family run site is well run and maintained by such lovely people.
The village has local shops pubs and a great fish and chip shop. March and Chatteris are both no far away and have supermarkets.
If you think you can fish then go along and try to beat the record catch, set while I was there, over 130lb. The following day in a contest the top weight was over 90lb. You might need a bit of local knowledge to achieve these weights, but its fun trying.

Totally agree with all other reviews. An excellent site, cannot fault anything. Very good fishing on both lakes. Plenty of dog walks. Very good staff. Very quiet with it being adult only but did see a few children in the CL site but to be honest did not hear them at all. I did not want to leave, will be back.
One very slight problem, the entrance to and from site could do with sorting out it's a bit rough in places.

Wow what a lovely site - stopped over on way home from Derbyshire, ended up staying for 3 nights - didn't want to leave.
The adult only area has been open since Easter. The facilities are immaculate - including disable toilet and separate shower, large laundry, with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The area is landscaped, so saplings line the road/walkways - pitches are a good size, hardstanding or grass - with EHU, fresh water and waste on each pitch
The five van field is grass and has it's own facilities, also immaculate - well behaved children are welcome in this area, they just like to know when booking
There's two fishing ponds - one by the adult area and the other by the 5 van field, which is located between both ponds
I'm told fishing is good, not my thing lol Fishing is 7am til dusk
I did see the fishing swimming beneath the water
Met by Charlie, extremely pleasant and helpful (even when my pc mouse died, he came to rescue, with new one)
Reception / shop has basic needs - and plenty of fishing bit's and bobs - plus sitting area to just chill.
Also borrowing library at 5 van site
Can't fault the site and going back in August
Local shops in Doddinton are open til 8/9pm - the Post Office sell scrummy homemade pork pies & pasties
8/10 for kids simply because the main site is adult only

We have just returned today from a site which we are returning to within the month for ten days. It is a new one which is in its infancy but will have a great future. The site boasts clean amenities with well planned pitches and a quiet atmosphere which enables you to relax completely. It is situated well within easy reach of shops and entertainment. For those who enjoy fishing there are two lakes which appear to be well stocked and all necessities are available. We have returned from this breakaway relaxed and excited thinking we will be back within the month to further enjoy this site. If it maintains this level then we can only recommend it for those who want an adults only site [it has caravan club part also] and good value for money

We have learnt by past mistakes to book 1 or 2 nights initially, in case site is not as good as it seems, and then increase stay if site is okay. Fields End Water exceeded all our expectations and we ended up staying a whole week and didn't really want to leave! It was an incredibly peaceful site surrounded by lovely open countryside, with plenty of walks in the surrounding area. The local shops and pubs were quite near. Also near were 3 wind turbines which you could not hear at all, even when we went for a walk and got really close to them, and they were also interesting to watch.
The pitches were an amazing size, giving you plenty of space from your neighbours. Charlie and his wife were always on hand and very friendly and helpful. The site is spotless and the showers and toilets were also kept spotless, and shower cubicles were spacious with powerful showers. The 2 fishing lakes were well stocked, as although we didn't fish we saw plenty of fish being caught! We are definitely looking at staying again in the future! A lovely site!

My wife and I visited this site for a short 2 day break we phoned up last minute and spoke to a very pleasant young lady who couldn't have been any more helpful if she tried.
On arrival to the site we were greeted with the same polite, friendly and helpful manner we received when booking.
The site was very clean and tidy, the toilets and showers were off the same standard (clean and fresh). (adult site only)
All the pitches were well manicured and a very generous size, with 33 pitches all fully serviced. The only things that I found warranted attention, was the dirt track in to the site had lots of potholes, and the signage directing off the A141 was non existent, it took a bit of finding (had to ask to people directions).
The local village (Doddington) had a take away, village stores and a couple of pubs.
We took our 2 dogs with us and found some lovely walking countryside easily accessible from the campsite.
Having its own fishing lake was a big plus if you like to fish.
If you are looking for peaceful tranquillity away from the every day rat race this place is a big plus
On the whole we found our 2 days very relaxing and would definitely visit this site again.
