Just spent the weekend at this superb site with friends with their outfit. Site and facilities were spotless. Dog walk accessed directly from the site plus many more in the area. Took a walk into Doddington for a drink at The Crown. Very friendly pub that allows dogs.

The site only uses hard standing pitches this time of year and they were all full. You will need a very long grey waste hose if you are going to use the drains, they are situated between the pitches and not on each pitch, 10m - 12m grey waste hose should be enough. I had to go nose in to align my waste closest with the drain.

Did not use the fishing lakes, but they seemed popular.

Overall, a great little site and will be back when the weather is warmer.

Great site with very clean facilities, bit windy when we were here but did manage to get sunburnt on the second day, great fishing and cheap too. This was our third visit in three years on this site and we are very pleased. We managed to get a pitch that had artificial grass base, this was good as there was no muddy or damp footprint when we packed up. Cobblestones pub next door to tesco`s in march do 2x curries+2x pints for £12 on a Wednesday evening along with two for one meals at any time. Can`t rate this site enough, thanks Charlie and the staff for another plesaent stay.

Well what can I say about this site that already been said in other reviews, great fishing, lovely peaceful site, good size pitches, clean toilet and showers, reception staff are helpful. The reception also stock a few basics but supermarkets not far away in March. When we got in to trouble with our tent two members of staff come to our rescue and did everything they could to help, sandwiches, cups of tea, as we had to cut our holiday short due to tent poles breaking with the high winds that hit us. They even held my fishing gear for a couple days as we packed in a hurry and couldn't get them in. Thank you to the site wardens, two lovely and helpful people

Stayed here for the first time towards end of April 2015, liked it so much we came back the very next week! Such a lovely quiet Adults only site. Most pitches are fully serviced and amongst some of the largest pitches I've ever stayed on when compared to many other caravan park pitches. Reception staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Shop well stocked with essentials but only five miles or so from March where there is a large tesco Sainsburys amongst other well known supermarkets. We went to Ely, lovely city and good market on Thursdays, also visited Peterborough approx 40 mins and Kings Lynn approx 25 mins. An hour and 20 mins away is Hunstanton a lovely Victorian seaside town, great beach and well worth a day out. The rest of the time you can sit outside your caravan or motor home, read a book, or just relax taking in the views across the fens. Site facilities are great and spotlessly clean, as mentioned the showers could be a little more spacious but adequate. One tiny peeve but nothing that will stop me visiting again is that the toilet block is closed 10-30 to 12-00 daily for cleaning. I always feel this a silly time as you may want to spend a penny before your journey home as departure from site is 12-00. However when available for just £3 you can have a late departure until 17-00, that then solves the loo problem. Hopefully Going back next week!

We booked here months in advance as we were meeting up with friends and to get 2 pitches next to each other but on arrival after my friend had successfully booked in we were told that we would be in the other field nowhere near the friends we came to see and after explaining to the woman on reception that we had booked over 2 months ago to guarantee pitches next to each other she then told me that sometimes they have to move people around on the site to fit people in which I thought was a lame excuse and that I was not happy with the pitch allocation, she did manage to find us a pitch that was closer but was the first pitch on the entrance to the site and with constant coming and going of other caravaners was quite a noisy pitch mainly because the road in and out is gravel. The facility's are very clean but did find the showers cubicles small and after having a shower there is nowhere to to stand and dry and keep your clothes off the wet floor the rest of the site is faultless. Would I use the site again no not after the booking problem and feeling I had no choice but to accept a pitch that I would normally have tried to avoid

Everything said before is true. This is a lovely campsite. We arrived in the dark unfortunately due to hold ups but were greeted warmly by Jackie. Pitching in the dark on only our second ever pitch with our caravan was interesting but we did it.

There was a spectacular thunder & lightning storm but all safe & sound though there was an area wide power cut for about a hour. No problem really. The facilities on the park are very good and very, very clean. We visited March & found it a quirky little town. It has a tea parlour on the market square which is a must visit! We had a lovely walk around the pools & through the woods where we spotted several apple trees. Watching the emigrating geese landing on the pool for a rest was glorious.

The pitches are huge & we were on a full service pitch. However the only issue is that you are asked to park in the middle (fair enough) so our aquaroll hose kit (7. 5 mtr) & 5 mtr waste pipes couldn't reach the hose & drain so we had to use our wastehog. If you have a motor mover (we don't) and can park the caravan with the hitch towards the back then your service points would be on the right side for the full service pitch. We noticed some had done that. No big deal but a shame. They did offer extensions for sale but we didn't want to spend out out more money. It is a site we'll be going back to.

Can't comment on the main site as we stayed on the CL, on the field next to the main site (which looked well laid out and cared for). It's an adults only CL where you are given a choice of 6 pitches for 5 'vans'. It slopes slightly but not too much. There is the usual EHU and elsan point. Also a toilet and shower room dedicated for the use of the CL's. Whilst I'm not into fishing I can see the attraction that this site would hold for someone who is. Talking to fellow stayers who were there for the fish they all reported it great and they seemed well satisfied. The shop stocks only basic items but there is a Spar type shop 2 miles away and March itself is not far with big supermarkets. Staff were very pleasant and we thought it an excellent site.

This was our first time at fieldsend and it won't be our last. What a fantastic site everyone very friendly. Fishing was great. The site was kept very clean and tidy at all times. The pitch size are so big you have so much room it was great. All in all a lovely quiet relaxing site will be booking for next year.
