Lovely clean facilities, friendly staff,
Very convenient for York with a short, cheap bus ride.
Local pub about 1 mile away does good food.
Quiet site but then we did visit in April.

3rd Easter there, 4th visit.
Location is great for walks, York and lovely village of Dunnington.
The owners and managers are amazing, so friendly and will do anything to help, even parking the motohome for me as I'm a bit wary.
Also seeing me out today and sorting my gas bottle out.
The toilets are so clean and spotless.
Absolutely love this little place. Can't wait to visit again! 😍

Great campsite, very friendly owners
Fab facilities, showers and bathroom are very nice and music playing is a bonus, 20p for a shower gives you 5 mins, there is a hairdryer in ladies but was unavailable at the time of our visit
Electric meter card given on arrival(price depends on how much you use which you can check on the meter itself and you get a refund on what you have not used)we found that it was cheaper to use gas in campervan for heating
They have a recreation room with allsorts in it, also mini kitchen with washing up facilities, microwave, kettle, washer and dryer, excellent idea as I think it would be great for socialising with friends and fab for families
Site entrance is all set up for xmas, great display
Bus stop around 10 mins walk away it takes you into York and around every 30mins very convenient
There is a village when you turn right out of site, again around 10/15mins away depending on mobility, few shops, restaurants and a lovely pub very friendly bar man
We would definitely return again

A great little site with welcoming, friendly owners.
Site is spotless and the showers and toilets are some of the best we've seen.
15 minutes walk to the village pub, shops and regular buses into York every half hour.
Reasonable priced with electric cost on top.
We will definitely visit again.

Stayed one night to test our family tent. We had two young children with us.
Communication brilliant in the run up to our stay and great checking in system at reception.
The facilities were amazing, setting a very high bar for future campsite visits, a play area our small ones loved, toilets and showers to a great standard.
Even though we're local, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat and have told everyone else about it.

Compact level site, with a mix of sited caravans and touring pitches. Single track access road with bendy driveway into site, which might require care with longer vans.
Sheltered sunny site, in easy reach of York, via park and ride or bus. We used both and found P&R easier.
20 pence for a shower and electricity by refundable prepayment card. The electricity was cheaper than the normal £5.50 per night C&C club charge.
Well stocked shop on site and attractive village with shops nearby.

The site was extremely well run and had great facilities which were well equipped and very clean.
The site was managed by Rob and Jenny who were very helpful and made the weekend a very pleasing experience.
The site is just outside of York and the City is around 20 minutes on a local bus.
Dunnington Village is 15 minutes walk and had a local pub which was nice and served food.
Overall yo cannot go wrong with this site.

Immaculate site, from showers, toilets, lovely games room, kids playground, pitches spacious, excellent free Wi-Fi, cannot fault the site and people who run it are very helpful.
Bus stop few minutes walk to go into York and the village is about ten minute walk with lovely bakery and costcutters and two pubs, you can also catch bus into York from the village.
Good dog walks and area to let dog off nearby if you want to walk into Dunnington through the woods
