Facilities were top grade, close to York, plenty to do close by.
Only problem was no family pub in walking distance.
Would definitely go there again and recommend.

Fantastic site, would recommend to anyone. Level pitches, spotless facilities and great value for money.
Electricity is provided (if you want it) which you pay for what you use. Really fair way to keep costs per night low.
Really handy for York, quiet site. Friendly and helpful team.
One of the best sites we have stayed on.

A gem of a find close to York.
Very clean and well maintained.
Everything was immaculate and was a great stay with close links to Park & Ride and bus service.
The price was amazing and such a great value for money.

Fabulous stay. Wardens very friendly and helpful.
Good sized flat pitches.
Site was extremely neat and tidy.
Toilets and showers immaculate, everything required for a comfortable stay. Play area for children.
Site is a short walk to bus route into the ancient city of York.
Lots of historical places of interest, scenic walks, river trips and open top bus rides.
Plenty of shopping, restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from.

We have stayed once previously and really enjoyed the site as we like to take a trip into York and the location is perfect.
Previously stayed with our Son & family - The kids loved the playground & playing field - Tired them out & slept so well!
Since our last stay the owners have installed prepayment cards for the hook up which we were a little unsure about.
However Jenny went through the process & showed us how to monitor our use age - As it transpired we actually only used £4 of electricity for the 2 nights we stayed (Cool Box, Lighting, Electric Hob, Oil Filled Radiator & yes an electric blanket!) so pleasantly surprised (Don't let it put you off)
All else is perfect for a relaxing break - Facilities are top notch & will definitely return
