We received a lovely welcome from the hosts, Mel and Mark.
The site was like a large cl, with 8 open grass plots.
We were able to cycle to the town and the beach and also to Mont castre, the local landmark.
Good facilities on site although we didn't need to use them, and fresh eggs from their hens.

An excellent site an hours drive from Cherbourg.
We receive a very warm welcome fro Mark and Mel.
The site is very well kept and the facilities immaculate.
The town of Le Haye du Puits is a 5 minute cycle ride and has plenty of eateries.
We will be returning again.

We have been visiting this lovely site since 2014 (covid permitting)
We received a warm welcome from Mel & Mark it felt like coming home!
As usual the site is beautifully maintained, constant hot water and clean facilities. Mark is on hand with a wealth of caravanning knowledge.
The hens thrive and produce beautiful eggs.
The surroundings and La Haye do not disappoint.
We hope to return next year, health permitting.
Thank you again!

Mark and Mel are very welcoming, hospitable and accommodating owners and the site is extremely peaceful day and night, with a lovely "feel" to it.
The facilities block is kept immaculately clean, with plenty of hot water in the two roomy showers, with domestic style fittings. The two toilets are the nicest smelling we've come across, though the gaps round the outside wooden doors are a little "rustic".
For us, the trees and vegetation could do with cutting back, though the shade was welcome during most of our stay.
The ground is generally a little uneven, though with a little trial and error it was possible to find a level spot on the pitch for the caravan.
As others have said, the town of La Haye du Puits and the surrounding area are lovely and well worth visiting.
Definitely a site and an area to return to.

Mel and Mark gave us a warm welcome and gave us plenty of advice when needed by us without being intrusive.
The site was level with a great shower/toilet block and the hottest showers we had during our trip.
We would prefer a slightly more open site but I guess during a hot summer the shade from mature fruit trees would be welcome.
Fresh eggs from the couples chickens is a nice touch and the cider made from their own apples well worth a sample!
There is good walking from the site and in the local area. We made a trip to Omaha beach and the American cemetery which is a sobering but somehow peaceful experience.
Would visit again to continue sightseeing.

This is a lovely, tranquil and idyllic campsite. It offers 6 places in an orchard. Clean showers with plenty of hot water.
Very friendly and welcoming owners, Mark and Mel.
Close to a nice typpical French village with enough restaurants and shops. A
Nd above all: Normandy, especially Cotentin is fantastic!
We'll definitely come back.

Stayed for 1 night only en route back to UK from France.
It’s a lovely quiet site - very green and peaceful.
Mark and Mel are lovely hosts and I’d go as far to say, the best we’ve encountered after many years of camping.
Highly recommended.
