Lovely site, very clean would definitely stay again.
Used the laundrette twice having a young child and found it very reasonable in price.
Beautiful views

Enjoyed being on super pitch (gravel) which was of good size and easily connected to fresh water, EHU, waste water and tv connection which were all available on pitch selected.
Took bikes to ride into Weymouth due to proximity but after seeing the road at site entrance where there are large vehicles moving quickly on narrow road without pavement decided against it.
Took bus into Weymouth instead, nearest bus stop which was around 0. 4 mile across a field safely away from traffic (9minute walk) Bus fare was £5 ea return or £2. 50 single, taxi was £12. 50 which was needed at night as bus back finished around 9pm. Site was well managed and shower block very clean and tidy.
Site shop had fair selection of camping items in case you had forgotten anything.
Would return in the future.

We loved this site.
The staff were super nice, friendly and welcoming.
We had a nice big pitch with beautiful sea view.
Showers and toilets are immaculate and new. Nice hot water for washing up too.
Very good location for getting out and about.
We plan to visit again next year.

This was not my first visit to this site by any means and certainly won't be the last as each consecutive visit the charm, friendliness and frankly just pure magic of the place just makes you want to come back again and again.
I was lucky enough to have spent some time over the winter here and the site almost turns into a wonderland as the wildlife, free from the throng in the summer, seem to be bursting out of every hedgerow, with murmurations of starlings and aerial ballet by crows and seagulls highlighting the crisp afternoon and evening skies as if in a west end show.
Pheasants and muntjac deer are regular visitors as are the wild rabbits and with the donkeys and goats on site it's practically a winter wonderland for animal lovers.
Add to all this the excellent location just outside Weymouth with views out to sea, coastal walks, friendly staff and great well kept facilities and, on the odd occasion when the wind whips through the natural valley and gives you gentle buffering, you feel like you have just been given a free fairground ride,
This really is one of the best sites I have ever stayed on and recommend you try it too. Summer or winter you should check it out and see for yourself just how magical this place is.

Poor pitches, not level, poor drainage led to wet inside awning
Red barn food not very good
Very poor toilet block facilities, need replacing
We would not be recommending this site

Lovely friendly site, upon arrival were give loads of useful literature and a small goodie bag for the dog, which he really liked.
We managed to find a pitch with electric at short notice. We chose this site as it offered cleaning facilities ie showers & toilets ( many other sites closed there's! Due to Covid)
This site is clean tidy and very well maintained.
The normal on site restaurant offered a takeaway service Monday to Thursday due to restaurant being closed and offered full restaurant service on Saturdays. We weren't aware that the restaurant was open Sat & Sun morning. Just noticed it was open because be we're pitched right next door to the Red Barn with its small children's farm containing a donky, goat & goose.
Loads of lovely walks close by, good for dog walking. However to get across to Chesil Beach you'll need to drive to Abbotsbury or Portland.
We would definitely like to use this site again at a later date. Thank you

A great site with very clean facilities. Despite there being quite a few caravans and tents it was exceptionally quiet.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The views were amazing.
They have a small shop on site that stocks absolutely everything you could need.
The site was easy to find and was close enough to shops, town and attractions, but far enough out to be quietly remote.
Country/coastal.
Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Agree with previous reviews. Very relaxed site, clean with plenty of accessible facilities. Many grass pitches not so level but possible to put right.
The Covid procedures were addressed but not regimented, felt we were treated like adults (it's not like that on many other sites). Walks to the coast and countryside accessed from the campsite.
Beautiful location. Shop well stocked and takeaway food very welcome. Would recommend it.
